I honestly don't care either way. And yes, I do like her as a character and she's my Shep's LI. I've always been curious, sure, but not seeing it won't disappoint me.

This.

Also, why do we need so many threads on this topic? There seems to be a new one every time I turn around.

it will be optional, if you romanced her or not.

It's what Casey Hudson said at E3 on a Bioware tv interview.

It's not what I am expecting to see if we get to see her face, but that picture is one of my favorites.

Before I was fine either way.  It didn't matter if we got to see her face.  Now I want to for certain.  And they way they keep dodging the question makes me think we will get to see her.  Though maybe only those who romanced her.

Okay... thinking about it, it might not have been Hudson, it mighta been someone else, but I distinctly remember someone saying that you see her face if you romance her, and I was at one of those events, E3 comicon, or Gamescon, or one of them.

I have personal preference of not really bothered if shown to myself since she is not my LI but would dislike it if turns out to be too human. I understand the fan service from point of view those who had her as LI might want UK paper "The Sun ~ Page 3 model" but honestly I would rather (and would very much find humorous) to see the reaction of an eight eye'd bug monster underneath. Especially given so many people proclaimed they picked her for who she is inside and appearance does not matter to them. I want to hear if they feel the same way upon seeing "The Blob" meets "The Thing" blended physical appearance. Now granted having non human appearance for giggles might not suffice as reasonable, but there is also the element of why would she look human given she is not human and has no genetic relationship/connection to humans.

I am sort of a continuity buff so if they do show it, it better match the characteristics that already exist within the fishbowl. That human picture does not, imo.

Although I think it would be funny if she was hideous. Imagine glowy eye stalks that move all over the place sort as an in joke and nod toward the eye glow glitch that exists in the cutscenes.

At the very least you have to also take into account that through the mask you can see two eyes and a human looking nose. As long as he eyes actually glow... I don't really care how she looks.

PS: nice asuma spaz.

And, honestly, I'd rather see her face and be a bit disappointed than never see it. Not showing her face would demonstrate just an affinity for risk-aversion on the part of BioWare. As there will be crying on the forums either way, I'd rather see them take the risk of people being disappointed than cater to the chronically risk-averse.

Agreed.  And really, I can't imagine myself being disappointed; I already know what to expect.  She'll be a conventionally pretty looking woman with enough alien features for people to say "yep, it's an alien, alright".

And we don't have to see terrable fanart on how she look's (plaese don't make her an elf)

People only want to see her face because they can't see it. If they ever see it they'll all whine because it wasn't up to their expectations.

Better leave it up to everyones respective imaginations, something I think Bioware is already planning on doing.

Speaking of hair... anyone else notice how Tali's cowl is kinda... puffy around the bottom? Like she has hair?

Hudson talked about her hood, and how in the 1st game is was long and flowing down to her shoulders, then in 2 it's shorter and (my words here) looks like a 1950's American sensible haircut. And Hudson said the length was supposed to signify maturing and having shorter hair like a lot of women do, they cut their hair shorter when they get older to make it more manageable. the interview is on the game informer website.

I like that one, just seems too...
human-like.

I agree, way too human. I also don't see why Tali would show you her face. I mean if you are in a romance it makes sense, but otherwise... there would have to be a reason for her to take her helmet off and I just don't see one without a romance involved, unless the script has a darn good reason. I for one don't really care what she looks like.

If they are going to show her face, it better be for romance only. And also optional, for those who don't want the mustery ruined.
