Ok, I gave up playing the demo. I got the disc read error message now for the third time and redownloaded the demo two times. I guess I have to wait for the retail release ...

Same thing just happened to me...is this just a repeat of the GoW 3 issues where devs think we all have the latest and greatest version of the hardware available?

Ok, I thought I was the only one with this problem. This happened to me with the Raams shadow DLC as well and noone could tell me why.

Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Microsoft's Xbox support here would likely be the best place to get support for this problem.
They will be able to run through clearing your console cache etc which may help.

I seem to only get the disc read error while trying to use cryo blast with the quarian in multiplayer. I haven't tried using cryoblast in the single player portion yet though. Even then, I didn't get an error for hours, then one time I got a cyroexplosion using incinerate and the error popped up. Now, it seems if I try to shoot cyro blast at all, a disc read error pops up. I tried clearing my cache and that didn't help, now I'm trying re-downloading the demo.

I get a Disc Read Error during the single player demo on the second mission. It happens like clockwork just after you finish fighting the Atlas and last of the Cerberus operatives. The game seems to be trying to load either another cut scene or something else when the error message pops up and kicks me to the Dashboard. Have tried deleting and redownloading the demo, with no change to the crash it seems.
