I played through ME3 demo and did not get a pop up stating that I unlocked the Omni-blade Daggers for Kingdoms of Amalur. I completed the demo and yet no joy.

This seems to be a bug.

Go to the chest anyway.
I completed the demo no pop-up but when I played Amalur a pop said SPECIAL DELIVERY. When I went to the chest hay presto.

As far as I know there is no feedback in the demo once you have unlocked the item.
Once you have completed the required tasks, just hop into Amalur and you should be good to go!

Joel that does help. With Amalur demo we got pop ups telling us we unlocked the Amalur stuff for ME3 and also the Amalur stuff for the retail version of the game. I had expected something similar for the ME3 demo. Again thanks

so have any of you actually been able to like equip the omni blade daggers? I have had the ME3 Demo, beat it, connected to the servers and played the co-op and heard nothing of the daggers.

What are the required tasks, then? Just play through both single-player levels?
