This has only happened with adept and not anyof the other classes I have tryed.
Possible bug.

I'm playing as adept.

sounds like a bug to me. Didn't happen when I chose an adept but that doesn't mean squat.

The one you select is the one who dies. If you pick Alenko, that means he dies therefore ash will show up in gameplay and vise versa.
