I liked the graphics. I really liked the smooth transition from my control to cutscene. Very nice. I liked that femShep's animations were not exactly the same as broShep's. I also thought the little strut the Female Krogan had was a nice touch. Very geisha.
I enjoyed the combat for the most part. I kept rolling to another cover point when I wanted to get out from cover, though, and that was tiresome. I also came up swinging when I would leave cover. Apparently I don't leave cover very well, but I'm not sure how to do this correctly. It's not a game mechanic I've come across before. I don't play FPS.
The sound on the weapons is trey cool. I also loved the animations on the cannibals and how fast they moved. They made you pay attention to them and you had to change tactics to account for them changing position quickly...at one point I had so many standing in line trying to shoot at me that it almost looked like a can-can dance line.
I am quickly becoming a fan of the omniblade. Cloaking, sneaking up on an enemy and slicing them was delicious. Only complaint was the cooldown, but now I know to spec for it when playing the game.
Clubbing husks had weight...and since I didn't feel it in my controller, it must have come from the sound. Very well done.
Too much of the story was out of context and very obviously edited, so I won't bother with commenting on it. I enjoyed the combat more than I thought I would.

Tiny bug. Shepard jumped onto the Normandy ramp, and made a very Jennifer Hale like grunt as he jumped.
Seriously, BioWare, it's the little things... Here's to hoping the full game will have these covered!

Graphics look quite sharp on the PC. Having played the Xbox 360 demo for the last few days, I can see a clear difference.
I got a good idea of how this played on the 360, but man it feels nice and smooth on my PC.

- GOOD
Improved audio
Improved Gunplay
Improved enemy A.I.
Balanced difficulty
Spacious levels
Seamless transition between action and narrative
- BAD
Very unreliable wall-cover interaction (ME2 nailed this perfectly)
Poor movement (walk / run) animation
Unable to lower weapon when not in combat (like the squadmates)
EYES (pupils / iris) not up to par with those of ME2

On Earth, Shepard and Anderson didn't really sound like the sky was falling all around them, to me. I know they both knew how nigh the end was, but from the way they talking to each other, they could have been going for an extreme jogging session through the park.
Cosmetically, Shepard's running animation looked comedic and felt as though she/he was moving too fast, that they were too light. Like they were floating just off the ground. Hadn't this been fixed between ME1-ME2? The Earth skyline looked a bit too clean and artificial to me, and I was a bit surprised that more wasn't getting destroyed all around Shepard and Anderson as they moved, or that there weren't more Reapers moving around reaping in the background.
Hated the death of the child. Was sad to see that the child didn't change genders depending on Shepard's gender. Would have reminded me of ME1 with the Ash/Kaidan switch at the Prothean beacon. Why didn't the Reapers blow up a basket of newborn kittens while they were at it? Any people desperate to escape the ravages of the mecha-cthulu horde would have sufficed.
Sur-Kesh felt needlessly broken up. One second Shepard's on the ship with Wrex, next, Wrex is gone and sounding like someone else and then Cerberus is on the scene and back to the shooting, no time to get bearings, no time to talk to anyone, boom, boom pow!! It looked like a very pretty area, from what I could see- too bad I was stuck inside for most of it. First time Shepard is on the Salarian homeworld, we were only able to see it through a few holes in the wall, discounting the shuttle overview. The sky didn't look real.
Combat works pretty well. I did like being able to take alternate routes, climbing ladders, jumping across gaps. Felt like I could interact with the world a bit more, that I wasn't just being funneled down an oversized corridor... even though I was. Illusion is all, ne? I kept getting stuck on objects I didn't mean to be stuck on when trying to move, happened a bit too frequently. I'm glad switching weapons doesn't take as long as it used to in ME2. Enemy AI seemed to work well, they didn't just stand still on the opposite end of the room. On several occasions, they put me in positions I didn't want to be in, and made combat tricky. That was good. One thing in particular that bothered me was the recharge time on abilities- if I wanted to play soldier, I'd play as a soldier.
Overall, there just wasn't enough time to breathe. Too much fighting, not enough anything else. Not nearly enough time to look around and go, "This is Mass Effect 3!" My brain was on auto-pilot because of how much killing there was to be done. I could have been playing any third-person shooter.
For the final installment of a series that has been lauded for its storytelling and characterization, it's a bit disappointing that there was more auto-dialogue than conversation, less conversation than decisions, and more combat than all that put together. Isn't the point of a demo to give users a taste of what the game as a whole is like, not just a single aspect of the game? It didn't feel like a roleplaying/shooter hybrid, it just felt like a shooting gallery.
And I can go elsewhere for that.

The roll/cover issue still kinda bugs me. I'm used to dying because I suck at some games. I'm not used to dying because the game interprets commands badly. The more dangerous the enemy the bigger the problem becomes. It's not normally fatal against grunts, but the mech? Still picking up the pieces of shepard. Running is also a little...unnaturally fast. Watching anderson blow past me with road runner like movements was pretty humerous.
Overall, it felt a bit clunky and wacky at times (usually the worst times at that).
Combat
The combat is much tighter and fluid than in past installments. I can't say I have much to complain about presently since we didn't get to see all the features. It's good to see powers start becoming useful again and it was fun to play around with them. Although, you might consider patching the game to reduce the effectiveness of powers on shielded/armored targets. Like, if a power lasts 10 seconds, have it last only 5. Or half the damage. Not a huge deal but could help improve the fear factor of some of the defended targets. Honestly it was almost too easy to just stasis a shielded target and blow them away. Not that I'm complaining of course, since with all the new types of enemies the main game is likely to balance this out.
It has been mentioned by the cover problem should also be fixed unless the enemies are using penetration mods (do we know if enemies get to use any mods similar to what we get? If not, it's broken. If they do, it should be mentioned).
Overall, the movement problems can make for some messy mistakes but the combat is improved for the better.
Characters & Story
We didn't really get to see much of these but there were a few problems like the wreav/wrex issue stated a few times. Wrex also seemed a bit bitter/angrier than I remember him being when talking to Shepard. I don't know if this has to do with choices beforehand we aren't privvy to at the moment. But there were a few times I wanted to knock him upside the head and remind him I'm his only damn chance and no krogan airdrop is going to get that krogan female back.
It was nice to see Kirrahe again showing off a fun new gadget. Shame we didn't get to see more of him. Some of the story sections I hope were being expedited for the demo because things moved a little too quickly for what I'm used to. Overall, not a huge deal.
Graphics
The cutscene's were elegant and had some beautiful settings. Leaking earth with the destroyed fleet in orbit was amazing. Approaching Sur'Kesh as well. Things fall apart a bit when it comes to characters but again nothing huge. I might just have lower standards than most because I didn't see textures or anything as major problems.
In the end I'd say the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The atmosphere from the music is both more noticable and, mostly, appropriate to the scenes. Honestly I barely noticed the music in ME2 since it often fell well into the background. But the audio while leaving earth is still stuck in my head.
I can't say for certain the game will live up to all of my expectations but I think It'll be a damn good end to the trilogy.

I also want to add that quite a bit of the demo was clearly ripped out of context and/or edited. Something I didn't particularly enjoy even if it does prevent spoilers.
Would have been nice if they could have left in a tiny bit of exploration. Kirrahe instroducing himself in the middle of a firefight when you should already have had a whole conversation with him is a little odd. He just sort of appears out of nowhere.

1. There was no trial when wy were told there was going to be a trial. So my expectations were set in the wrong place.
2. How does Shepard know James?

I like how if you double tap the cover button you'll skip the phase of taking cover.
I thought there was blind fire? It wasn't in the demo, so if ithere really is, I take it the demo does not represent the final game at all in this respect? Blind fire as I know it and expected to see in the demo, is the art of firing from cover without exposing your head and upper body. Shepard still hopped up out of cover just like in Mass Effect 1 and 2, the only difference is the transition was much smoother.
Is that ALL of the customization items in the final game? It just seemed very limiting, even more so. Though the hair looks a lot better.
I just thought there was going to be longer hair styles, all those are the same length as in past games. Also, the one hairstyle I used, I think it's called a bowl cut, and I expected the bangs to hang down in the middle and not be parted off to the side. I just don't understand why the bangs always have to be parted off to the side.
Though the positives I found were there were some very creative hair colors. I love the last option for haircolor, where part of the hair looks black and other parts have a red tint, I guess they'd be considered highlights. Nice to see some blue and pink hair colors.

Pros:
- Amazing music, most likely the best in the series
- Background details are beautiful. Architectural design is also really solid for both worlds.
- Important character models [Anderson, Garrus, Wrex, Liara, ect] look really nice.
- Gameplay seems a lot of fun.
- Voice acting is good
- Soundwork is amazing
Cons:
- Introduction feels rushed. Needs to slow down and take a few seconds to build tension. Could benefit from more dialogue for people who may not understand what Shepard is doing on earth.
- Walk speed seems slow
- Very poor lip syncing, even for ME
- [Demo Only] Power based classes are broken on Surkesh without weapon bench
- Missing [or altered] eyecolors, makeup, and flipped hairstyles from CC.
- Incorrectly plays Wreav's audio for Wrex over radio [?]

First, I noticed a movement glitch while in cover, I trust that won't be in the final game? When I was in cover, sometimes Shepard would move all the way to the left when I didn't even press the analog stick.
Yup! I've had that happen to me numerous times.
