Well I'm not certain if we can reunite with TIM but we certainly can side with Cerberus, I very much look forward to doing just that.
!!!
I must see a proof to this. Was this mentioned or confirmed on anywhere else??
My renengade Shepards will love that.

Mass Effect is great not because of graphics.I actually like the simplified graphics in ME3 so much better than ME2.
@Darth_Trethon
Thank you for telling me. This appears to be good news. Now I must go and seek this ME Invasion comic.

Character classes are still the dumbed down simplified affairs they were in ME2 compared to the ones in ME 1 that had a much wider range of abilities. The new paths for skills just seem poorly thought out and random. Why is there now a carry weight in the game? There never was before and it doesn't seem to serve any purpose.
Experience again is the same simplified dumbed down version it was in ME2 with you getting a set amount of XP at the end of battles rather than as you kill things. All in all the mechanics of the demo are extremely disappointing considering the negative feedback Bioware got for making the changes to combat and levelling that they did in ME2.
I guess it is typical of EA's mentality that they would ignore the aspects fans wanted simply so they could put out a basic simplified game that appeals to the more simple people that infest some game communities that would not normally be interested in the type of game ME1 was and probably still won't like ME3 because there will be too much talking. And yet at the same time they are alienating the people who made ME1 a success.
At this point I am seriously considering cancelling my Preorder for ME3 as it just doesn't seem worth it. The only reason for me to get it at this point is to play it for the story.

1. First and foremost, the music. All I can say is wow. Clint Mansell is a genius. I was saddened by the loss of Jack Wall but honestly I think Mansell may be better. The whole intro was amazing. The best part was with the kid getting in the shuttle and the strong, dark booms that would hit every-time the Reaper was shown. Reminded me a lot fo Inception's soundtrack - which I loved.
2. Voice-acting. Was fantastic. Didn't play FemShep, but Meer is doing a great job, as are the rest of the cast. Unless I'm mistaken they've changed Mordin's voice actor? Tbh, wasn't as big deal as I thought it was gonna be - it's close enough.
3. Graphics. Again, great. Especially character faces. Looks as if the war's mental anguish has had an effect on Sheapard's face - which is great.
4. Dialogue/Cut-scenes. Lots of people seem to be complaining about this, for the lack of choice in directing the dialogue sequences and what not, but I thought it all worked well. Everything Shepard said I could imagine my Shepard saying - so I was pretty happy with it. Cut-scenes looked good and flowed nicely.
THE NEUTRAL
1. Combat. I'm a little worried here. It's good, but still seems kind of clunky. COnstantly rolling when I mean to get in cover etc. The cooldowns were ridiculous but that was due to being unable to pick out your weapon loadout, I assume. Someone also said that every class kind of feels like the soldier now - and I can see where they're coming from. As a Vanguard, I wasn't charging anywhere near as much as I would have liked and relying on my assault rifle way too much. In saying that, Nova is awesome.
2. Gun-sounds. Lots of people seem to love the new gun-sounds. I'm kinda of "meh" about them, to be honest.
3. Power-evolutions. Was expecting more - slightly dissapointed.
THE BAD (in order of terrible-ness)
1. Anderson running. LMAO what!!?! I swear Bioware were high that day. Animations in general aren't the best.
2. Shepard's Movement speed - he's pretty damn slow when he's not sprining - and when he is even he looks slightly retarded - not Anderson retarded... but still...
3. Space key = everything. Terrible, terrible idea. Hopefully we can change that in the controls menu.
4. Not being able to holster your weapon. Small compliant, I know, and I know the reasoning behind it, but still, it's sometimes the small things that are really important.
All in all, good demo. Happy with it, but not over-the-moon. Still very much looking forward to ME3, just maybe a little more cautious now and my expectations have maybe slightly dropped, but that's probably going to turn out to be a good thing

Some bad texture work, especially some things in the background were abysmal.
Also too many auto-responses, and if the "there's more dialogue options in the retail version!" I will end up returning my copy.
Still, I enjoyed the experience outside of these complaints.

I had only one issue which I think may be just a player issue. When I tried to play it like I played 2 (which was kinda...holding the space bar down while in cover so I could easily rush out when I was done shooting/covering), I ended up just flipping endlessly from one cover spot to another. It feels like Human Revolution but just more clumsy. I'm sure given more time I will adapt but it was a little frustrating.
It also appears that trying to drag abilities on and off your action bar while combat is paused still can crash the game, just like in 2
But all that said, I still can't stop playing !

Oh and yes I was pretty jelly that default MShep's textures were amazingly beautiful while my custom FemShep looked significantly less beautiful.
THANK YOU.

Honestly, I'm not playing this game for the graphics at this point, I did sense that I was clumsy and a bit weighted down only because I'm used to the controls of ME2 that the different button patterns and what works is different.
I am digging the not so clean looking Shepard. Ashely's make over? A+ --- although I still want to shoot her in the face for abandoning me on that terrible planet with the collectors. Music - A+, I was happy to see Wrex in the fight again.
Its foolish to throw the game out just because of the Demo, I think some folks are driving by their fan based emotions a bit too much. You already knew that ME3 wasn't going to go back to ME1, and you already knew it was going to have more Gears of War mixed in the ingrediants. The rpg folks lost that fight when it went multi-plat. The story is strong though and there seems to be more dramatic elements in this one.
I am wondering something --- there is an interesting choice when you first play and that is, selecting which deaths affected Shepard the most --- Kaiden, Ashely's or Numerous. Will that effect the way Shepard speaks or reacts to things in the game? Is that a spoiler or is there an explanation we can have?
There thousands of questions but never the less, good job Bio Ware, I look forwards to March 6th, I for one will keep my XBOX360 CE - It began with the Xbox and by golly, it will end that way for me too.
5 Stars mah brothas!
