Still, it's not like the story will be ruined if this demo is the actual beginning of the game. I just feel like it could have been handled a whole lot better.

I think the majority can agree that the walking animation is just kind of strange - so it raises the question whether this was just acceptable for BioWares QA department or whether they don't see a problem with it at all
Did you read any of my posts or watch the video I was referring to a page ago?
There's evidence that prove the demo is an old build.

I didn't accept anything. I merely thanked him for his response.

Where? Didn't you see the part where I said a page ago. Come on, if your not going to take the time to read and comprehend my post, don't ask me any questions.

I'm more disturbed by the character designs, though. When did Ashley start looking like a man? & that one chick who looks exactly like snookie? These designs had to be intentional, seriously.

The point I was trying to make was that little things like character creator, animations and graphics( possibly but not 100% certain) are going to be more refined in the complete version.

Old build or not. What were seeing in the demo will probably be what we see in the game. People had similiar discussions about DA2 before it released. Just like with the leaked beta script and the confirmation that the first few hours was exactly like it was in the script. I honestly don't believe for a second retail will be extremely different.

Actually that chick looks like Jessica Chobot, whom is the voice actor of the character and whom the character's design was based on.

It's obvious you don't read threads so I'm not going to continue this conservation with you. I posted the video to prove my point and to get some feedback from other posters. However, your opinion isn't needed here.

But what the hell happened to the animations? The sprint animation in particular looks dreadful.

Overall, a really well made demo. The combat, soundtrack and graphics are all awesome.

I would not worry too much over the specific animation as I recall seeing an alternative set of footage showing it better than what experienced in the demonstration. I believe they have also confirmed that the demonstration is also months old. I could be wrong and retail game may be as 'odd' in the animation front but I think that specific element is unlikely. This does not however mean anything they have improved since is good enough to please some people but then again can never please everyone.

Crosshair: where is it? One used in demo is barely visible.
Granates: apparently Cerberus training is all about throwing granates. So, whenever they throw it, wherever they throw it, it lands directly on Shepard's neck. Enemy AI is extremely bad and I guess this is supposed to cover it up.
One-button-does-it-all: it only makes player stick to "cover" while getting shot.
Skill tree: it painfull to navigate through it because of new menu.
Good:
Easy: even on Insanity in RPG mode (this was sarcastic).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have other issues with the game, but I'll stick with gameplay ones.

Wait, what's wrong with the Skill Tree? It's pretty easy to navigate....

I find it rather telling that so many dont apparently give a flying crapola about the story to the point of not mentioning what they thought of that...
How can we possibly comment on the story when we still know very little about it? The demo didn't reveal anything more about the story that we haven't already known since E3.
