^That!
Best co-op fun I ever had. And I played a lot of co-op.

My only gripe is the freaking character unlocks, how painful! I've been wanting to play with an Asari adept for the longest and nothing. I have a lvl 19 Infiltrator and a lvl 14 engineer, which entails a lot of hours played, but only a Salarian infiltrator character unlocked. BLEH!

Keep the difficulity the way it is now, completing Bronze is just a good solid step towards trying Silver, because the difference is that big...

And as for surviving wave 10 on Bronze, learn to save at least one shot off a missile launcher for an Atlas.

Likes:
-Map layouts
-Variety of classes and races
-Weapon selection (add more?)
-Colour palette and scenery
-Upgrade and level up system
-Customization of characters
-Overall feel of the multiplayer. I love it.

What could be improved:
-No local search option (huge problem for people outside US).
I can play with my friends but it would be so much better if the game searched for local players by default. It would make my experience and many other players outside the US a lot better.
-Random way of unlocking weapons/characters through boxes.
-There should be secondary objectives. I thought the objectives that come up every 2 or 3 rounds were optional until I failed one and the game was lost. There should be some secondary challenges to add that extra challenge.
-The ability to ‘paint’ a target would be cool. Sometimes I want my squad to focus on a big threat but they’re too focused on taking pot shots at troops to notice the massive mech next to them.
-Credits option to reset abilities etc would be cool.
-Don’t want to have to name all my characters.
-Make it ¾ ‘ready’ for the game to start in lobby. Too many times have I had a lobby with 3 players ready and the other not. We end up kicking them.

Other than those that’s it. The main thing I want improved is the connection.

I love it. It is SUPER addicting. The only thing is, I wish random people would be more cooperative haha.

Also, the Cerberus Phantom? I hate that thing. With a passion. I can already see that it's going to be a pain in the ass in single player once retail ME3 comes out.

Oh and the fact that the A button does everything needs to be changed. Trying to revive someone next to cover is an extreme pain.

 Hi Bioware,
Firstly id like to say that I have really enjoyed the multiplayer so far, brilliant job on the demo..
I really hope this version has been limited to fit in the download demo. or else it is pretty poor.

Love the feel of it, really well balanced.
Maps are great.
Looks pretty good.
Character customisation is very good. though I would be keen to have customisable suits rather than just colors
it will probably happen. Upgrade system is brilliant.
and TBH i dont mind the unlock system, I quite like it, it means that everyone has a pretty even opportunity to have the item. TF2 is a good example of where this works, and is bloody brilliant.
But, yeah... overall really enjoyable.

Now to the other part.. the bugs and issues I have had personally:
- Glitch where enemies didnt jump up onto the landing platform on the firebase white map.
We sat there and tried throwing stuff at them but ended up just quitting.
-Mission ends prematurely.
We were playing along and all of a sudden we got the end of game message.
- Dead  (and curbstomped,  brilliant feature:wub:) but doesnt go to spectator mode.
I died and the team members were still running round but the camera didnt change over.
- I lagged, died, got revived.. and fell through the map.  Firebase White.
That is pretty self explanatory.
- Another issue with spectator mode where the viewed player is just shooting in random directions, (lag issue probably)
- Trying to revive someone next to the objective is near impossible.
Not sure how to fix that, but was trying to revive a team mate that had been deactivating a scrambler but just kept doing the scrambler... he died.  :(

Gameplay
-I found it really annoying to have to cycle through the rocket launcher every time using the mousewheel even when I didnt have any ammo left in it. Would be good if the launcher only appeared in inventory if you had ammo for it at the start of the game.
-In game chat function would be good, or at least a broadcast system like in world of tanks that has a spam limiter (really hate spam).
- The voice chat is quite unresponsive, will probably just use a third party one it is no biggie.
But overall am looking very forward to it. Per order is in anyway :) :o

THanks.

P.S. Origin is terrible. (freezes my PC for 30 secs when I start it)

Okay, lets do this

-You forgot to add "TAB" into the controls description (Voice)
-Soldiers pickup 2 grenades, even when you have the max capacity of 3
-Ammo crates should be changed to the ME2 Heavy Weapon model, or atleast to something that can be more easily seen.
-Soldier can use only 2 weapons (WTF)
-Kill that spacebar thingy.
-Add a map, please :)

The demo was fantastic, I'll admit, after Dragon Age 2 I was worried about Mass Effect 3 but the demo shows that you really have got the game down pat. I was worried that after Mass Effect 1 had brilliant RPG elements but lacked on shooter elements and Mass Effect 2 had excellent shooting but dumbed down RPG elements that ME3 would be the same but the choice of Action, Role Playing and Narrative at the start was a really clever move. The multiplayer is excellent and I worried that it would be mediocre and hold the single player back but so far so good, I especially like the Assist system where you get the points you earn

Well done BioWare, I smell another masterpiece

Its looking really great, and every bit as addicting as promised! XD

The only issues I've encountered so far:

1. Invisible turret (fortunately we managed to kill it before it did lasting damage)
2. A Nemesis spawned under the Firebase White landing pad (fortunately she seemed to take damage from explosions)
3. A friend joined the game and could not see any players, so couldn't revive or coordinate. (fixed by rejoining the game)
4. One persistent, OCD annoying glitch texture on the stacked black boxes near the back of Firebase White (looking down from the walkway right in front of the landing pad).

So absolutely nothing huge at all so far!

Suggestions/Feature support:
1. An expanded/less random store (though I'm willing to bet it will be at least expanded in the full game)
2. A way to remap abilities in the lobby. Some abilities are much more suited for the bumpers than the Y button.
3. Show the names of the characters in the lobby, or something. There's not much point in coming up with a good name if no one but the player can ever appreciate it. Even if that's supposed to some impact on SP, people can come up with silly names. Might as well let everyone see them.
4. Alternate MP armors. 'Nuff said.
5. Some power sets(I only have the Human Sentinel in mind atm) don't complement themselves. I'd expect the powers to sort of work together. I know MP's not meant to be soloed, but Throw and Warp don't really work together that well. Don't wanna sound like a Scrooge or anything, but setting off other people's singularities/pulls/whathaveyou gives them the kills, and I'd like to be getting some with my powers, too.
6. I won't complain about the race/class associations. For the most part I find them reasonable. But why does it have to be a female quarian!? Adepts are already forced to use the 'female' Asari if they want her skillset, Vanguards, too. It just seems like, if you're going to allow the characters to be respeced, it would've been better to make a gender toggle, at least for humans and quarians. Then there would've been room for other races(Eyes turian and geth infiltrators, krogan vanguard, and the other very viable options)!
7. Variations in consumables, i.e. sacrifice 1, or even 2 ammo pack slots for an additional heavy weapon/medi-gel slot. You get the idea.

Thanks BioWare, for this taste of awesome!

Edit:
Forgot my likes:
1. Customization is well done
2. Powers complement each other on most characters
3. Difficulty progression is great, from Bronze to Silver to Gold.
4. Communication makes all the difference, and an awesome experience.
5. Map layout is fairly easy to navigate quickly.
6. Any class combo team has been able to work together really well so far.

Generally I've been enjoying the multiplayer, but I have a few complaints:

Why is the Soldier class - a class completely dependent on weapons - limited to 2 weapons like every other class?

On the 360 the Multiplayer appears somewhat glitchy and unstable. I've had the game crash about 5 times now either by players joining mid-session, or players being randomly booted from the lobby. Hit detection with the sniper rifle seems very hit and miss, sometimes giving the hit marker but doing no damage. And in one game I was unable to see or hit enemies, whilst everyone else could.

Edit: And the bug where the mission ended near one of the final waves because our squad 'died' when a single player was downed kind of ruined things a bit.

The unlock system is terrible and easily the worst aspect of the multiplayer. I can't make an informed choice between the 5K and 20K package because I have no idea what kind of unlock is what, and the description for the 5K package seems to be flat out lying to me. I've brought lots of 5K packages (I'm now a level 17 Soldier) and have only received 1 new weapon and 1 new character.

Random unlocks is such a bad design that I'm amazed anyone thought it was a good idea. Random unlocks when I can't even make a properly informed choice (5K package verses 20K one) is even worse. Fixed unlocks work, and player-selectable ones work. Random ones do not.

Seeing much lower level players with Revenants and Mattocks whilst I'm still stuck with the basic assault rifle is not fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Co-op mode after being incredibly sceptical of it. I'm one of the ones that love this game for its story line and was worried that one or the other was going to be iffy. I'm very satisfied, however, I really hope that armor customization is going to be allowed as I really don't like looking so close to Cerberus all the time. A paint job only does so much. Thanks! CAN'T WAIT TIL MARCH!

First i need to say that i was concerned about the MP, but until now it´s great.

This are my impressions:

likes:
-Map layouts
-Variety of classes and races
-Weapon selection, but i would prefer that the soldier class carry more than 2.
-Upgrade and level up system: i do like the packs, in fact i got lucky with some recruits upgrades.
-Customization of characters
-Teamwork to beat some objectives
- Teamwork to stay alive in silver and gold modes!!!!

Dislikes and suggestions:
- The revive "bug": trying to revive a downed partner near a wall or cover point usually results in a unwanted cover position. Why not put the "B" button to do this job? (xbox 360);
- No way to paint a target. The ability to ‘paint’ a target would be cool²!
- The execution. 2 points:
It feels like the cerberus operative is killing a cockroach! Come on, soldier, put some anger in it!!
The foe does not aim to your head! I myself got executed by a stomp on the foot! :P

In general i really like the MP mode. I´ll enjoy it in the full version.

On my first match, we lost on wave 4, but surprisingly enough everyone stayed for a second try.

On the second try, we stuck together more and barely managed to pull through (often had only 1 person alive at the end of a wave, and never the same person) and got all the way to the end. I was the last person alive, only 10 'bullets' left and the only thing separating me from over 10 cerberus soldiers (plus a mech) was a single crate. I died when the "evacuation timer" reached 3 seconds... but the timer reached 0 during my death animation/camera spin, we heard the "succesful evacuation" message and got the congratulations screen.

I got to say it can't possibly get more heart-pounding than that :) I can't see myself playing multiplayer for 100 hours, but I'll certaintly be playing it a fair bit since it's actually more fun than expected.

Lol, I've seen it too. Execution by stomp on the arm, by stomp on the gut, and by stomp on the croch(though that one would definitely finish me off XD)

Well on a first play through I can say that on PC it works mechanically very well. Just not quite sure what I am doing! We would loose on a wave yet still have players alive! is therte something I am meant to be protecting?

Sure I'll get the hang of it!

What I really want to know is can I play MP without it having a bearing on the SP game?? Will there be an option to play it as standalone - as I want to have the outcomes based solely on SP but still want to play MP but in isolation so that it has no impact on the story outcome.

Love this new multiplayer mode. Love it.
A couple of changes i would make:
1. Ability to sell unwanted items back for credits. I dont mind the randomized system but at least let me have another shot!
2. More variablity in the missions in both length and content aspects. While the occasional assassin round or collect the intel round is cool, im talking more about COD's spec ops (yeah i said it). Things like rescuing hostages or collecting intelligence, move from point a to point b etc

Im hopeful something like these will be in the final version but otherwise its awesome!

I don't think there are dedicated servers Bogdan, just player hosted.

The list of player hosted games would be great, and further more, i want to see country of the host player and difficulty level.

Ok, so those playing at the moment are hardened BF3 veterans and confirmed shooter fans, remember that.

I think the number of waves and long length of each mission, even on Bronze difficulty, is going to be very offputting for 'normal' gamers / Mass Effect fans. Playing something that difficult for 30 mins and still not completing the mission is not fun unless you really like firing 1,000,000 rounds of ammo into enemies on a regular basis without really achieving anything. I played dozens of Bronze MP missions yesterday and only saw the mission completed 3 times. Most times we either had team members disconnect part way through the mission or we had everyone wiped (usually by those insanely overpowerd Phantoms).

I know for a fact my girlfriend will not enjoy that much shoot em up action with little reward but a mission failed screen after 9 waves. Its a shame. If Bronze was actually easy and ended in about 10 minutes after 5 waves you would have something that appealed to casual gamers who dont regularly headshot people in BF3. For those who love shooters there are the Silver and Gold options of course. But as it stands Bronze is waaaay too difficult and exactly what non-shooter fans feared it would be.

Really nice, you might want to state what type of things you get different in the shop,... cos the recruit pack has gotten me better stuff than the advanced one.

Slightly bugged:
Connection issues
Krogan can roll between cover but can't roll in normal combat hmm...
also at some points life is added to your bar after a round, and then sometimes its not,... seemed rather random to me.
i don't know whether its just with a krogan but enemies dodge the krogans heavy melee at times, even though he was right there lined up to get knocked out.

So far only done humans, a drell, and my main krogan boss
pretty nice, seems a bit repetitive, might need a few more interesting rounds, or different ways of starting (getting dropped in after shooting from the drop ship for instance.

phantoms seem slightly over powered even at bronze lvl, they don't stun even when shot in the head a few times.

EDIT: one thing i just remembered, has anyone actually got the text chat working,... i press t type something and nothing happens???

It was decent in my opinion, however for some unknown reason, i seem to be the only one on my team incapable of progressing to the next level. After the end of every stages, the experience bar does not move at all.

I was worried co-op would be rubbish TBH....had 2 games last night, and I've compeletly changed my mind!! Awsome gameplay, and I love the customization options. I cannot wait for the full game to be released!!

A big well done to Bioware for delivering an excellent. well thought through game!!

(oh, and the single player sections are spot on too!! )
