Maybe I'm just stupid but is there a way to quickly select weapons via hotkeys like other FPS?
Also, Krogan + Melee = Good Job

I absolutely love the multiplayer demo! I find it odd that a lot of people are unhappy with the random box unlock system too. Maybe it's just because I play Madden as well, but I love the system of randomization, because you can try to get one thing and fail and fail and fail, but once you finally get that one card it is the greatest feeling ever! Not to mention the leveling system is much less linear because of the random box system.

I really have no complaints about the demo...well...except for one thing, I wish my multiplayer progress would carry over to the full game, but it doesn't really matter!

So far i liked the multiplayer. i think its more fun than halo firefight and keeps pace withe GoW 3 horde mode.
As for some notes for developers to maybe fix is:
1) some glitches when trying to revive; option appears but cant do it.
2) dont have the enemies execute you on the spot; maybe set in the AI a 45 second kill timer before they finish you off
3) rare weapons need to do more damage. (espically for gold rounds i.e like more damg; or ammo perk)
4) GOLD rounds are REDICK! needs to set a warning or exp lvl indicator on might be a good idea before trying gold.

Again looks good; even though this was the e3 demo; looks like they going for the GoTY.

Tacked on, boring, RPG system doesn't transfer very well with no real reason to continue playing. Thanks EA, much appreciated.

I am not a big fan of multiplayer but I would have to say I absolutely love in ME 3. It can be a harsh and unforgiving mistress if you get with people who like to run off by themselves but I ended up spending 4 hours playing it last night without even realizing it because I was trying to level up my infiltrator.

I was pleasantly surprised by the multiplayer. I haven't had a chance to play that much yet, but what I have played has been really enjoyable.

My only hope is that in the full game we have the ability to have more armor/face customization, be it already present or available through some form of DLC.

The Demo is great! Invited a few friends last night and 2-3 manned some bronze missions. I just wish I could play other classes than the Sentinel so far because the hotkeys for quite a few of the human classes aren't working properly and they can't be clicked/dragged like the single player to my experience.

Otherwise I'd give it a 10/10. Really did not expect it to be that fun.

I'll probably put together a comprehensive review of my experiences with it this weekend when I have time to get more than 4-5 matches in. I don't really want to jump the gun on deciding what I think.

When I first heard about the multiplayer aspect, I didn't really care.

I thought "There are other game series like Battlefield and CoD that can do multiplayer properly. If Bioware do a multiplayer function for ME3 it'll probably just be tacked on and basic. Probably wont be fun at all."

Sweet mother of **** was I wrong. I played the multiplayer aspect of the demo today and I bloody loved it. Very entertaining.

One thing I didn't like: The weapons customisation interface bit was a little awkward in that it could do with more structure and descriptions. Like having the weapon selections in an alphabetised list, rather than multiple giant circles on the screen.

This is as asinine and stupid as arguing that stabbing yourself in the knee is a fun pasttime because it's so much better when you finally stop stabbing yourself.

A frustrating system is not good just because it can finally end. It's just... a bad, frustrating system.

If you want to gamble, go to a casino. I'll settle for not having to spend days of playtime to get what someone unlocked just for loading up the demo due to RNG.

Please fix the Drell Vanguard. He has really nice abilities but he's just not viable outside of Bronze League. He has almost no barrier and dies way too quick.

Not really. It's a throwback to the old booster pack days of card games. Half the fun and replayability comes from the randomness.

Honestly, from what I've seen, the multiplayer would get repetitive even faster if people could unlock exactly what they want very quickly into their playtime.

I enjoyed it, roughly on par with Halo's Firefight. Still think GoW's Horde/Beast edges it out though.

Also, time for me to gloat: I was one of few people on BSN who defended the inclusion of multiplayer when initial reception to the idea here was overwhelmingly negative. Now that reception to it has been hugely positive, it looks like I was correct. I'll be sure to go back and read all those old threads railing against MP with a smug smile on my face :D

Masochism and enjoying random variety are too completely different relations.  If you're going to use the word asinine, at least find the part in his post that makes him or her look like an ass first.

It's keeping things stale, if I had the regular unlock for things, I'd have everything unlocked for two weapons, the Adept, and would have stopped playing earlier.  I've never encountered this in a game, and it can be frustrating, but its enjoyable.  It keeps the game unlocks fresh.

I freaking love the MP, just unlocked the Revenant, so I'm gonna test it out when I come home from work. Otherwise, I just encourage people --> if you have a mic, please use it. Especially when you notice an Atlas coming your way while your teammates are occupied, always useful, no?

All together a real fun experience. I thought that it's a good way to compete against others for score/experience, yet you are expected to stick together to survive. Great and different multiplayer format, which to be honest, I didn't think i'd play coming from Mass Effect.

No noticeable flaws.

Good job.

Demo is awesome, only thing is to make different difficulty level, for 2 and 3 players.

I love the multiplayer being a solider is the best part, love the new cover system and weapon layouts. Only one problem is the boxes you buy with your credits, their meant to be random however, all I get is the same guns over and over again. over than that the game is perfect 10/10

Love the co-op multiplayer, it is very addicting, I cannot seem to keep myself away from the keyboard.

Just keep it CO-OP only and I will stay happy, none of this TDM crap in my Mass Effect.

does anyone think that getting 4 of the cheaper packs, rather than one expensive pack, in the store give you more chance of getting something good? (new character, weapon ect.)
Cheap pack: 5000
Expensive pack: 20,000

I think the demo is amazing bioware like always listens to there fans and delivers another game that is going to destroy my social life, but one think i notice is the story of mass effect 3 reminds me of the story of DAO in where you have to go around to create a army to defeat a acient evil that has come back and is waging war just my thoughts.

I admit that the "Supply Box" system can be a little aggravating at times, but it's essentially just like Pokemon cards/ Booster Packs, I think the random crate rewards, will keep the gameplay fresh and enjoyable much longer than a basic store. From a design and a long term viewpoint I think it was a great decision despite everyone else wanting to buy everything they want immediately and be bored 4 days into the game.
I love the multiplayer, it's the most fun I've had in a long time. I hope that in the full game there will be higher than veteran level supply boxes like 'spectre supply box' also I hope that gold and silver difficulty levels give you a decent amount more credits and XP, (haven't been able to last long enough to compare bronze/silver/gold.)

The only thing that really bugs me is that the default quick match setting is "Any Difficulty" because this usually ends up with several level 1 players in my silver or gold lobby and then I have 0 Chance. I wish the default quick match settings always sent newer players to bronze instead of "any available"
also I hope future DLC adds more elements to the coop side if the game.

Overall:5/5 stars bioware multiplayer ME3 rules.

I was certainly wowed by the SP Demo. I wished Admiral Anderson understood (and stopped bugging me) as I stopped many times to look around and take it all in. Sheer beauty. Yeah, I know - sight seeing in the midst of a Reaper invasion - but damn it all looks so good. :)

Anyhow, on MP. I played for a few hours last night and really enjoyed it. I am in agreement with most of the comments given so far.

The one thing I would like to see:
If there are less than 4 human players available, there really should be an option for the host to toggle something like "use bots to fill public spots". I recall Start Voyager Elite Force allowing for this, and when a human player joins they simply replace the bot. The bots can be simple (canon fodder), but would be a good distraction.

or

Perhaps the difficulty level could be automatically adjusted depending on the number of players available.

Otherwise, i will most certainly be playing more tonight, and am really looking forward to the full game. As I was playing last night I can say that I was very impressed, and love the combination of ME1 and 2 styles, along with some nice RPG elements. Honestly, Bioware, you have done a fantastic job, and I think I can safely say on behalf of the fanbase, we are glad you decided to take some extra time to make ME3 as awesome as it is.

*Hats off to BioWare*
