Something really odd happened to me right now.

I was trying to enter a game. First it didn't let me join a lobby, then it let me, but I couldn't see myself on the loadout screen and my level was 0. I couldn't do anything. I tried other games too, but same problem, then my console froze up.

No, characters in demo will not carry forward to the full game.

I very much like the Multiplayer. I went in extremely skeptical, came out of my first match pleasantly surprised and hooked. What I liked and disliked are similar to what the others have posted before me, so I won't reiterate them in this post.

All I can say is...play a Krogan. So awesome. Did I mention the standard melee is a headbutt?

You don't need a source. Every multiplayer demo that has released in known history has never allowed the carry-over of unlocks to the full game. You should know this. Prevents people from being able to start out uber-powerful on the retail release.

It was mentioned in a stream, where Sjoze-something was watching, and he said that the unlocks won't carry over.

Makes sense too, since everyone could just use the demo to make a bunch of level 20 characters and then use all of them as assets in the full game.

You can also trust ME as your source :D

Also, regarding "getting the same thing from unlocks" - each time, the existing one will be upgraded and or gain new appearance customization options.

Why don't you guys make a shop and the player will actually buy what (s)he wants, not some random stuff that may or may not be desirable. Random chest = bad. Every. Single. Time.

from what i've played, i really enjoy the multiplayer, customization looks like it's heading in the right direction, not a huge fan of the random unlocks, but that is my only real complaint... maybe more variety in the enemies we fight.. and i also noticed some minor bugs but all in all, as i said i really enjoy it. Look forward to playing it in the full game.

Alright, for some reason the multiplayer isn't working for me atm. I can't seem to get in to any of the games. And my console keeps freezing after awhile after the first failed attempt. It worked fine earlier, maybe it's because a lot of people are playing it atm?

I don't have a problem with the Equipment Packs. You guys realize MMO's use a similar system with PVP Gear Bags? And it works and is fine and no one complains about it? Because while you may not get what you want, you're getting something, and the good "loot" you have a chance at getting.

If you don't get good loot, then you have to go back, play some more to earn more credits, and buy another one. Whats so wrong with that? Are you guys really upset that you're getting more replay value out of the game? I like the system, it gives me something to work for if I don't get what I want right away. Besides I've been playing MP since yesterday and you do receive some great unlocks. I already have the Phalanx pistol, the Viper sniper rifle, the Katana shotgun, a level 3 Vindicator assault rifle, two mods for the Assault Rifle, two mods for the pistol, two mods for the Sniper, etc. And while I started yesterday, my total play hours are probably around...5 maybe. It doesn't take too long before you start raking in some good stuff from the Equipment Packs. Besides the Supplies you get are useful.

You will get good loot. Just be patient and work for it.

Can we use the N7 weapons in the multiplayer in the full game? That'd be interesting to see.

Most game companies don't ask for direct fan feedback and certainly don't listen. Thanks, Bioware. The only feedback I have on the multiplayer is positive. I expected it to be fun but I didn't expect the franchise's very first foray into multiplayer to hold up favorably against other mainly MP franchises. It's much better than any COD game and the equal of Gears of War, except that the writing in Mass Effect won't induce vomiting.

I find the Multiplayer Fun, interesting and very challenging. I also played by myself it's very difficult. I think you guys need to work on the difficulties especially working on Playing it solo. It's tough even on the lowest difficulty. The game though is very fun. I never even completed one game yet. X.x

How does picking characters and appearances work well new ones?

I'm playing a Salarian now but I want to play Asari, the other species. I hate randoms kinda. Sorry for double posts.

I also want to know this.

plus, character unlocking is tedious.
Maybe it would be better if the packs unlocked a character for your current class instead of a random one in a random class.

I'm almost positive they'll be resetting everything again when the game is released as that wouldn't really be fair to folks that didn't play the demo.  Priest can likely confirm.

In terms of enemies you fight, you'll notice in the custom match screen that there's a slot for "enemy type".  That's all I'll say on the matter.  :)

I like the way classes are unlocked in that the system might encourage you to try a class that you wouldn't normally play just because you can.  I ended up playing my Adept a lot because of this, and that's a class that I normally avoid because I like guns...and grenades.

Cheers!

lolwut?

So, it's available in the multiplayer, but not the singleplayer?

What kind of sense does that make?

MP isn't really meant to be played solo.  There are some classes, like Infiltrators, that can do moderately well
on their own, but you end up shortchanging your teammates because you're not there to help them defend stuff, take objectives, rez, etc.  This becomes even more apparent at higher difficulty settings.

You know, playing a game where I hit level 41 within five days of playing (space marine), and then get everything before that is tedious. Same with having nothing to unlock for over six months after.

This might be a fresh idea, but I'm sure you can tweak it. Seriously, how many of us are going to be playing it after the first month? Get to level 20, unlock everything, max out your wins, and then it will stagnate.

Pretty good overall

There are a couple things I would change:

Random unlocks

Would of rather had a store where youbuy individual items, even if it means they cost more. But since the current system seems to be here to stay, can it at least be made so you don't get the same weapons more than once?

Rocket launcher

Not a huge deal, but you should be able to unequip it, or it should at least not show up if you have no ammo for it.

Other than that, it's hella fun

First of all its a great game which i love playing since the first part and iam really exited to play it now online! But i think there are some things which defenitly need to change!!!!!

1. The packages!

I really dont thinks this kind of rewards are really good, because you get ( in my case allwaya ****, sorry but it is really true), and you dont get things which you want to have!!!
For example i love playing with the sniper ,(great gun, really good that you put the fireing speed down which makes i just perfekt and not overpowerd), and instead of earning stuff for my sniper i get useless stuff for pistoles or shotguns i never use:blush:!! I think it should depend on what rank iam, what weapons i used to play with and how long and godd i play with them, wich weapon, armor, light,character,... i reward!!!!!!!!

2. More Dynamic

I think the gameplay is great but need more variety to really be able to play it for a long time!!
For example make larger maps with more ways to play and survive not just little narrows maps. ( Bigger maps would also give the player the use the sniper!!! would be awsome!!!!!?´)
Maybe also add vehicles to make the hole gameplay more dynamic. I dont want to compare games but maybe u should take a quick look on the Firefight mode from Halo!
Please dont leave the variety to some checkpoints i have to capture (really boring-_-) add some map challenges, nature problems,... what ever but please dont stay at simple walk and shot tactics!

3. Difficulty

The last points iam going to mention is the difficulty because i think the multiplayer was made just for 4 player coop!! If you play alone it is even on bronze really, really hard but on silver or gold you have no chance:blink::blink:. With another player bronze really makes fun, silver not so much, gold is not possible. But with 4 player silver is perfect and makes really fun!
so you should fix the difficulty for less then 4 player!! ( Another difficulty for every amount of player)

So all in all its a great mutiplayer even for a game which is a complet singleplayer game!!!
There are awsome changes like the new skilltree and the weapons-(customization),... but the needs still some fixes! But what game dont needs changes?:P

Have a nice day and greetings from germany ( sorry for my bad english)
