Yo! I'm to lazy to search this topic but has anyone had trouble with the adrenaline rush with the soldier during multiplayer. When I hit "Y" nothing happens and my cool own restarts as if I've used it. Anyone else feeling this? Well....bye....

I'm hooked. ME3MP has captured everything I liked about Left 4 Dead and added in character classes, customizable skill trees, and dynamic weapon loadouts. Difficulty seems to be spot on, teamwork is rewarded, balanced teams play better, and there is just enough variety is the objectives.

The things I would suggest changing:

Stasis probably could do with being tuned down a bit. Fully upgraded stasis (especially paired with a sniper rifle) drastically reduces the difficulty of a match.

Turrets are great, I love that engineers are a high priority target even though they arent vey threatening on their own. However, I'd say that the turrets might be either hitting a tiny bit too hard, or they are a tiny bit too tough. Please don't nerf turrets across the board, just tune them to be a little more specialized in either destruction or durability.

Phantoms add that moment of panic to the game. They are deadly and fast and scary and tough. The ONLY complaint I have is this: why do you not get to be revived if you were killed by a phantom? Revival is one of the most essential team mechanics in the game, not to mention that it gives you a chance to get back in the game and have more fun.

Some classes don't seem to play well with others. Vanguard, I'm looking at you. The vanguard may be a blast to play solo, but in MP, he basically excels at blocking his teammate's shots, getting into hairy situations, and shaking everybody's screen whenever you need to line up a headshot. That last one is a big deal: I don't mind if Shockwave does that to the player who cast it, but PLEASE don't penalize the infiltrator because he got put on a team with a shockwave spammer.

We could also use more social controls in game: kick, ignore, and squelch for starters. I'd also like a time limit on idling in the lobby. Its pretty common to wait 5 minutes or more for the last person to click "Ready".

Oh, and why do we all miss out on bonus xp because one heroic jackass refuses to get in the extraction zone?

EDIT: Someone else mentioned it in an earlier post and I have to agree: some objectives are poorly placed. The worst is on Firebase White when you are asked to upload from a terminal on the landing platform. Unlike the extraction sequence which uses the same location, enimies still spawn around the edge of the platform during this objective, making it a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

You might be playing on Silver. It only gives you one grenade per ammo dump.

Enemy Grenades need to be more visible. Too many times I am sprinting and get blown up by a random grenade because I can't see it until I am right on top of it. Why not make them glow like in bf3. If they are glowing...its not bright enough. you need to be able to see it without standing on top of it. It feels like way too cheap of a death

Really good multiplayer , just  wish your character wouldint aim all the time or put his weapon down when he's not in combat or somethin like that.

I'm having a lot of fun! Everyone's been really nice so far, even though I'm not... quite... hitting my stride yet. Haha.

Edit: I should add that I am not a MP fan, in general. I've spent time on a MUD, but that's it. I really love this and I can't wait to play again tomorrow.

So I did not read the other posts but from playing some rounds just now, I have following issues:

- a simple chat in the lobby would really help (i know the consoles have no keyboard but why should I care I have one on my PC). There is no way of communication other than morse code via "Ready", unless everybody has voicechat, I naver had anyone with voicechat so far.

- somethings bugs need fixing, the ladder animations didn't work at all, the enemies just diappeared at the top/bottom of the ladder and reappeared at the other end. I also could not use laddars, don't know why.

- I would also like that at least the different characters could be bought seperatly form the chests.

- FoV makes me dizzy after a while (even worse than the singleplayer). So please make the FoV adjustable by the player.

Ditto forgot to say, I tired to rez a teammate on the top of the ladder, couldn't climb it, nither could the next guy. Charge is just as glitchy, find after I charge, the enemy suddenly is behind me. Also rolling into walls, top of crates, and nothingness, after that my character is usless in a fight for I no longer can control it.

EPIC MULTIPLAYER! but just a few issues:

1. Vanguard biotic charge sometimes doubles the beginning animation and other times will "miss" the enemy due to a cover glitch or something.
2. When trying to revive players the "Revive Button" sometimes is extremely hard to access in the middle of a fight. You end up rolling or sliding to cover and continue getting shot when trying to make a quick pick.
3. After a certain point on the "Stay in the circle" missions, the points for kills stop counting. I don't know if that's how it was designed, but it seems that those are still kills which should still be worth the points.

I might add more if I find anything, but my hat is off to the Mass Effect development team! I can't wait to see what's in store for the full version for the single player and multiplayer.

There is one thing that is REALLY bugging me and that is how moving in and out of cover interruptes your reloading! This is especially frustrating when using single shot sniper rifles.

Does any body even notice how bad the characters move? Come on!

Love the multiplayer but I totally agree. Movement is painfully rigid and slow. It has to be changed because for how awesome ME3 will be its just embarrassing. Also, I already can't see a damn thing, between me taking up part of the screen and no peripheral vision whatsoever, you really don't need to make the screen darken when I'm about to die. Oh and one more thing, please.. I beg you... For the love of god, a separate button for cover.

Actually, now that Ive had more time with it, it does seem quite alot more like a beta than a demo...
Ive seen peoples gun muzzles flashing occasionally when they stopped firing, the shuttle you arrive in to start a coop match never left (on Noveria), randomly, your hotbar icons will totally disappear and you have to pause every time you try to use a power or select an equipment, AND you can't drag and drop them back up there....
Sometimes you won't be able to climb a ladder, at all, for some reason.
On occasion, the Krogan melee will have no sound effect and enemies will just crumble to the floor slowly, even with a charge. (instead of flying away after hearing that SMASH sound, which makes it O so much more entertaining :D)
Sometimes my character gets glitched where hes holding a weapon, but you can't see anything in his hands, and can't fire or use any action whatsoever.
Also, while in cover, sometimes when you try to aim the character will only, I guess half aim...looks kinda like your hip firing from cover, so unless theres a blind fire ability Im not aware of, it's having problems.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmm yea thats all I can think of for now, hope it helps if any Bioware people are actually reading this 25 page criticism :D

This is for the PC by the way...as if anything else competes...................BAHHAHAHAHA swag

Pleasantly surprised. It has me thoroughly distracted from the single player element.

While I'm enjoying the multiplayer thus far, I think it's a load of bull that if you fail the secondary objective (espcially the 'kill 'x' persons in the very small timeframe' ones) you lose the whole match.

Also, as a soldier, how come I can't have my Inferno Ammo snd more than two guns? And why is a krogan a sentinal and not a vanguard?

First impressions after 4 rounds

Good:
- Easy to pick up; easy to enjoy. Once I was familiar with the interface, starting up a game was very streamlined.
- Good AI: moves from cover to cover, uses grenade and turret reasonable well, deploys smoke very well.
- Customization adds depth to the game. Both the skill and weapon evolution are fun to play.
- Maps are well suited for gameplay. Not too big, but still with enough freedom to be tactical.
- Achievements, round-based and otherwise are a good way to measure performance.

Can use improvement:
- No text chat in the lobby. I know that option is pretty useless for most console players, but how hard would it have been to add one for the PC version?
- Not much diversity of role between classes. Sure the skills are different, but still just killing in one form or another. Could use more class-specific interactions: hacking computers, moving heavy objects, biotic manipulation of environment, that sort of thing.
- Not enough customization, especially for skills. A wider range of available skills but greater restriction on amount of points (or the same amount as current) adds diversity.
- Demo maps feel a little bland due to both as human (I think) urban environments.
- More detailed performance statistics can't hurt.

This is just a demo, so many features, especially the variety of missions, are missing. However, I am confident BW can design good missions because I own SWTOR.

I really like it, playing with friends is fun. My only complaint would be- let us just buy the character class we want. I understand about the upgrades and weapons, but not being able to play my Turian soldier is seriously annoying. Otherwise I have no complaints.

I cried tears of joy when my vanguard used charge and then nova for the first time.

Honestly I have no idea why some people don't like the new gameplay, after playing the demo, I'm so excited for the real thing.

Multiplayer is amazing, completely lost track of time and played for four hours straight.
The only complaint I have is the ranking system. From what I understand the more high level characters you have the higher your rank is. So if vanguard and soldier are the only classes that interest me, I'm stuck at 40 (assuming I don't have other races unlocked)? There should be a way to improve your rank with a single character even after you hit the level cap.

I haven't have this much fun playing a co-op shooter since Halo CE.  Love playing adept and engineer.  Freezing or putting mobs in stasis and letting the sharpshooters in my group take care of the rest.  Stasis is really strong.

Only problems I've had were
1. getting dodges instead of reviving teammates
2. one time I died on a ladder, used a medpac to revive myself, but was stuck at the bottom of the ladder. I couldn't move, but I could aim and shoot and use powers. Needless to say, I died at the bottom of the ladder again
3. some lag issues. Teammates will be running and then they'll "teleport" back and continue running the direction they were going.

Had a blast tonight on PC.

Lag free, joining and inviting friends through Origin worked surprisingly well. Voice chat was adequate, with push-to-talk. Setting up biotic combos was fun. Overall the combat was just fun. It felt like the game, but with real teammates instead of AI. I can see spending many weeks or months coming back to this mode.

Only complaints would be no mini-map to show enemies, even when hitting shift. And no text chat and/or some kind of text teammate commands. Simple stuff like follow me, attack my target, cover me, etc. Granted, playing with voice negates most of that, but even so being able to hit "cover me" while going to an objective, and having it highlight you for your teammates, or ping the (currently nonexistent) minimap would be very helpful.

I just played for a couple hours and had a great time. My only real complaint is not being able to buy what I want. After six packs, I wound up with tons of ammo refills (not needed on bronze, don't know about other difficulties) and several missile launchers (not so useful for a class with grenades), when what I really wanted were class/race unlocks (I didn't get a single one).
