one more (should be easy for you change) before I go to bed. Increase the vertical range on the power melee and the revives. Trying not to get hit while reviving is hard enough. but moving your thumb from stick to button, back to stick is just one more step between me and toast. If i am standing right on top of a downed player, out in the open or I have moved around him so he is in between me and the closest piece of cover why would the A button do anything but revive the player. Ill be standing in a wide open area with no enemies or cover spots close enough to stop the A button from doing anything but revive, why make me look down? Also, It is hard enough being melee centric. Combo-ing is awesome. why stop me from biotic charging into a power melee attack. You aren't stopping me you say? You should of tested your game with lag involved. I have a fast connection and I still have to take almost a full second to make sure the lag has counted my guy looking down before I go into my power melee. Its soooo un-sexy. Just increase the vertical range so I can hit Y (biotic charge) straight into holding X for a power melee. You tested the multiplayer under perfect ping conditions didn't you?

P.S. If you let us map our controls in multiplayer like you did in single player this wouldn't be as much of an issue. Because biotic charge would then be left bumber for me and then my right thumb would be undisturbed from starting to look down while I was charging (if that is possible). You don't pay me so that's as far as I take it.

Tried out Infiltrator tonight.  Having to hold Shift (Command HUD) to go invisible and/or throw grenades (for Soldier too) sucks so bad and ruins the flow of the game.  Please let us drag icons from the Command HUD to the bar, it would help so much.  Thanks. ^_^

I absolutely love the multiplayer! Loving the amount of communication and the challenges it has in store for the players. I honestly don't have any real complaints... though the only thing I'm not entirely fond of is how random getting other races is... I'm assuming it's mainly for demo purposes?

Will we be able to chat with the team in the Lobby as well? In the full game, of course.

Does any body even notice how bad the characters move? Come on!

It seems quite a few improvements from ME to ME2 were completely thrown out the window. Including movement and shotguns...

Love multiplayer, but 3 hangups for me...

1) the random nature of the loot packs, I've gotten the same useless garbage (to my class anyway) for 20 packs in a row, at least let me trade with party members or something, who could use my gear better than I

2) speaking of party members, allow us to search for more teammates, if we don't have enough to make a full complement ourselves

3) let us remap the controls in MP, just as we can in SP

Other than that, the game is amazing!!! Can't wait until March!!!

PS: race unlocks should happen at intervals, I still haven't managed to get any non-humans besides the one Salarian Infiltrator!

Also, the "activate" button seems too contextual, as I keep spazzing from cover to cover instead of reviving party members.

DARN YOU BIOWARE!!! I'VE NOT SLEPT IN 2 DAYS!!!  I swear I've played this demo for more hours than most full games, it's THAT fun!

Still, it's just tiding me over for the main course, which is, of course, the SP mode.

Its a good time, but please don't sway your attention from the single player portion of the game, I know you have a separate development team working on the multi, I am just afraid that we may lose focus on the single player game aspects. This includes future DLC and patches if any...

Love love love it. Plays like a dream. Looks like a dream. (Is it just me or is the film grain gone?) Customization is nice and deep. You just plain don't want to stop, ESPECIALLY once you've met up with a team that can really hold it down. This is pure fun at its finest.

Only three complaints:

1.) Unlock system is definitely a chore, but enough ink has been spilled over that.

2.) Putting all maneuvers on one button was a mistake I was hoping would have been corrected...

3.) Very disappointed at the lack of alien genders, especially Quarian males. I'm hoping they're all being saved for the full game (not DLC...).

I've never been a fan of online multiplayer but I do believe Bioware has made me change my tune. Getting to play as an aggressive Vanguard while an Adept and Engineer cover my back is awesome. Don't get me wrong, the combat tempo took me awhile to figure out (with quite a few first wave losses) but once I did, whoooo boy was it fun.

Also I have never felt as much satisfaction as I did when myself and three other players all less then level 5 beat the 11th wave by the skins of our teeth. Seriously. One guy hiding behind the ship while the rest of us are lying dead because of an Atlas, waiting for the clock to run down. After we won we all cheered over our mics, it was great. Victory was never so sweet.

I had a blast, once I managed to get the hang of it. I'm very much used to "pausing" the game while I choose what powers I want to use, so it took me about 8 or 9 super-fail Wave 1 deaths to adjust to using powers in real-time. Once I did though, I had more and more fun each time I played.

I admit that when multiplayer was first announced, I hated the idea. I was afraid it would somehow ruin the singleplayer aspect of the game. (Yes, I was one of "those" people). But I'm happy now to also admit that I was completely wrong. The multiplayer addition is an excellent one, and I look forward to playing even more of it when the full game arrives on my doorstep. Well, after I save the entire galaxy first, of course.

;)

 The Good
- Combat feels great
- Customization is great
- Having the class level up together (ie: when the Turian Sentinel levels up so does the Human Sentinel)
- Making the races have different abilities is great
- Unlock system is addictive

The Bad
- Making the unlocks completely random kind of sucks. Sure there is some awesome feeling when buying a pack and getting a badass gun or something, but when I am specifically trying to upgrade a specific gun or unlock a specific race it gets rather annoying. I strictly use Assault Rifles and never snipe at all, yet I have the Mantis VI and Sniper Barrel 3 and Sniper Spare Thermal Clip 6. Comparatively I only have Avenger 6 and Mattock 3 with Recoil Dampener 2 and Extended Clips 1.
- Difficulty seems really off. On Bronze me and another person can easily take down the entire mission with only minimal instances of being downed. Yet on Silver with three of us we can barely make it to wave 6,
- Not enough variety in objective rounds. Just, 1) Protect this computer while hacking. 2) Hack these 4 devices. 3) Kill these targets.

Glitches
- Often times when I start a match I can't run. All I can do is roll. After a minute it will let me actually run again.

Suggestions
- Expand the store to include weapons, characters and upgrades. That way we can focus our time and money buying the things we actually want and will use. I am tired of having 3 submachine guns, 2 snipers and a shotgun that I never use. I am especially tired of getting upgrades for these guns while I am still stuck with only two upgrades on my pistol.
- Perhaps allow us to trade weapons and parts with friends. I have a friend gets a huge amount of upgrades for the Assault Rifle he doesn't even use while I am desperately hoping to get these same upgrades and get shafted with sniper rifles.
- Allow us to customize our armor and weapons, at least cosmetically. I want to be able to change the armor on my Human characters. I hate the Adept armor but love the Engineer, why can't I just change them cosmetically. It would be cool to be able to swap armor pieces like in ME2, but I want to at least be able to wear the armor I want.
- Likewise, I want to be able to remove the helmet on my human character and customize the face. How is it fair that the Turian, Salarian, Drell, Krogan and Asari get to expose their faces, but humans can't? Is it because you think all Turians look alike? Racist.

the multiplayer was really dispointing in my opinion, it's nothing more then a glorified shooter.
and on that i can't even decide what weapons i want to upgrade. i have to buy a pack and hope i get what i wanted.

stupido...

also i would think we should get some xp for each part of the mission we go thrue. sometimes you just make it thrue 3 parts and then you die. and you get nothing.

Gotta be honest here. It's starting to grow on me. I'm loving my Quarian Engineer, and managed to complete 2 full rounds in 1st place.

I have been playing as a Sentinel. The only problem I see is the lack of a tech power for the class that can strip shields ala Overload. This esentially makes it the weakest class in the game, the sentinel feels more like a budget Adept than "a force on the battlefield" one man army type.

I like that I determine when I can detonate the Tech Armor (but sometimes I forget to do so).

I liked the missions, the whole upload data and kill important targets. I do hope however that the full game has more than hack terminals around a single location, that the levels are larger or that we get missions like infiltrate the base and retrieve such and such or escort important person to extraction point etc.

Some glitchs though, sometimes all the players are ready to start but the game never starts, just a message "Waiting to Start" and also being put into a lobby where everyone just finished a match and are leaving said lobby.

Store: I should be able to trade or sell off stuff I do not need and I want emblems for my armor. And more pack would be nice instead of the useless recruit pack and the "so random its nearly useless" veteran packs. Allow us to buy singular items like med packs or ammo mods without spending 20000 credits on something very awesome or very disappointing.

so there my 2 cents. Still having fun tho.

I will admit Bioware, when you first announced Multiplayer I was very very scared.. I was terrified it would be bad. I think I may have even voiced this on these forums somewhere. But after playing the demo for hours on end.. I can't help but say it is BLOODY amazing!

We have 2 maps and 1 enemy type and I just can't stop playing it! It is going to be insane!

Oh! Just a bug to point out, whenever I was in a fully lobby and switched characters, my skills wouldn't fully show/bind to my skill bar (PC Version) It happened more than once and just a heads up for testing it your end!

P.S Can we know if we get to keep everything in the demo multiplayer in the actual game, or is it going to be reset?

Quick question, everybody praising this MP setting does it have Team Deathmatch in the final version or not ? and by that I mean players vs players.. what`s the fun in killing endless waves of mobs in co-op ?

Has anyone been able to create a private match, invite a buddy, and then change it to a public match? I just spent 30 minutes with my friend trying to figuring out how to get into a match together. This is pretty basic stuff for multiplayer and it should be in the game.

I´ve done that. Just create a private game, invite your friends  and after that change the "match settings" for public, the remain slots will become public. But, we expend 5 minutes waiting in the lobby and no one join the slot! The matchmaking needs some improvement.
