1. Don't know if I'm being dense or not, but I couldnt see an option to turn the sound off from other peoples microphones, which is extremely annoying when you get some idiot screaming into it.

2. Getting random microphone noise when going through menus etc. this was a problem in Battlefield 3 too, so I don't know if thats connected somehow?...

3. Probably nothing can be done about it, but the wait for the last of 4 players to be ready can sometimes be ridiculous, so end up quitting.

4. Game stopping when host leaves is annoying as hell, this should be sorted.

5. More customisation would be good, but not essential. Faces, helmet off etc.

6. Random unlocks seems kind of pointless, why not just have a system where you can use credits for exactly what you want? If I play mainly as soldier, I don't want to waste credits on things im not going to even use. Aslo, have used about 5 of the big packs from the store and havn't unlocked any other races to play as.

7. Game randomly crashes while starting a match.

8. Matches should only be allowed to start with at least 3 people, any less is too difficult.

9. Melee attacks don't always lock on and feel somewhat clumsy.

10. More variety in missions would be good but not essential.

Other than that, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the multiplayer demo. It's great when youre working with a good team who knows what they are doing, and can become somewhat addictive. Good job Bioware.

First off I want to say I love the demo and I can't wait for the full game.

As for issues, these are things I hoping are fixed in the full game or at least someone is looking at.

-When I join a random room already in session, sometimes I'm put right in the middle of a killing zone and I die instantly. Either temporary invincibility or better spawn logic would be appreciated.

-Regular melee feels a bit wonky. Like I'll hit someone and it'll take a second to register. Or it will look like I hit someone and it won't register at all.

-It quite difficult to hit grounded opponents with melee. Something like a foot stomp would be appreciated(like the one Cerberus does).

-Can't say I care for the random loot system. Hopefully you guys have more box selection in the full game if its going to stay that way. Maybe even implement a trade system if you're going for that kind of design.

-More objectives would also be nice.

-Mitigating the host instead completely stopping the match would be nice. I've had quite a few hosts ragequit because they kept dying while the rest of us were doing pretty well.

Those are my issues but overall I had a really good time.

i like it but i would make ammo types separate to buy in shops bringing a random skins crate for credits. so if your a solider your lv 10 then if your change class you still lv 10.

Being beyond N7 60 I can safely say I've had a blast playing the demo, especially with my friends.
That being said there are some issues:

1. Both my experiences and that of my friends is that SMGs are pretty much completely useless. Anything they might be good for another weapon does better. I've tried both the shuriken and the tempest and I've levelled and modified them a fair bit but they just remain an inferior choice to any other weapon. When fired they're way too erratic for the amount of damage they do even in close quarters and this gets far worse in medium to long range firing, making them pretty much worthless.

2. As I mentioned I've leveed and modded my SMGs are a fair bit. This is not out of any real desire to do so in the slightest but rather because the random grab bags I spend all my hard earned credits on rarely give me anything I have any use for. That feeling of getting something cool in a veteran or recruit pack is quite uplifting but that depression I get from receiving yet another Katanah upgrade or yet another Shuriken upgrade or yet another worthless mod for a weapon I never use is far more common and disheartening. In addition to that there should be hard limits to the randomness of these packs; I really don't want to get another human vanguard item when I've already unlocked every single customisation option for the human vanguard.

3. It's a problem I've only experienced twice myself but a friend of mine has to continually exit the demo and re-enter to ensure that his skills are mapped out to the quickslots.

4. I'm playing on PC and the 'press space to do everything' thing is incredibly annoying. I have a great many keys on my keyboard that are going unused and it is beyond frustrating when I'm trying to revive another player or interact with an objective and instead of doing either of those, I end up sticking to the nearest wall. I have died or failed to revive a teammate more than once because the game can't seem to figure out whether I'm trying to take cover or revive my teammate.

5. I pretty much have to rely on steam chat or Skype to talk with my friends while playing and a simple text chat function would make interacting with random players easier and frankly make it seem more like I'm actually playing with another human.

6. The Quarian Engineer's turret (and engineer's turret in campaign) is horribly underpowered and mostly useless even when maxed out and I've found their greatest use is that occasionally it will distract a guardian away from you.

7. Turrets used by Cerberus Engineers on the other hand feel somewhat overpowered, doing a great deal of damage, being of unlimited quantity as long as the engineer lives and taking too much effort to destroy, especially for the points they are worth. This is especially vexing since the Quarian engineer's turret couldn't possibly hold a candle to them.

8. The blast radius of grenades seems somewhat lacking. If you're going to sacrifice grenade power for radius then they should have a far broader affect than simply bringing the blast radius up to the approximate level of the NPCs and what you would expect a standard grenade to be able to do anyway.

9. Phantoms really don't need a tactical cloak. Being very agile having strong shields and a devastating one hit kill close range attack they've got enough going for them already to make them the single most feared units in play.

I have to say that the MP demo revitalized my faith in bioware. The SP demo, honestly, was a crushing disappointment when I thought y'all had utterly screwed the cooldown times for us. The MP proved me wrong (well, folks here told me that beforehand, but I'm talking in terms of what was communicated by the demo).

Also, I'm loving this MP setup. The changing missions between waves is very KZ2/KZ3 multiplayer-esque (and the boys who did killzone's multiplayer were genius) and that's very high praise. It keeps the game fresh even on familiar maps, and even on bronze the gameplay is challenging.

So far as I can tell, this is a very balanced and well-polished addition to ME's arsenal and I'm loving it.

Y'all did well here, BW, so that's also got the effect of setting the bar even higher. Keep up the good work.

With all that said, here is an item that I'm IDing as a MUST FIX for Day 1 patch:

Remove sprint from the "do everything A button" (i'm playing on 360).  Really.  Move around corners should be RT stick click, and sprint is Left stick click (no hold.  sprint lasts for duration that stick is being moved in a direction). We don't USE the pitiful "navigation" arrow that takes up an entire button press.  If you must have it, relegate it to select (PS3)/back (360), since that isn't being used at all (or assign it to grenades like it was in ME1).  It's not just the PC boys who are sick of rolling or moving to cover when they need to sprint.  It's us console jockeys too.  And it's ME3's one serious, SERIOUS downfall.

Played on the Xbox.

I thought it was good. No lag or glitches. I liked that you can upgrade the same way that you do in single player. I'm getting use to the cover system but it's still a bit dodgy. Too, as with the single player, Biotics like "Throw" seem to miss their mark 40% of the time. Not sure if I need to "lock target" (?) or just highlight them. I can't figure out the whole weapon inventory thing. Two "main" slots and three "sub spots"? Why is it I cannot open the weapon wheel or switch guns ingame? Wish there was a squad placement command visuals like in single player. So each player gets a color code and the team leader can highlight an area they want you or other squad members to position. Nobody seems to be using a mic. Enemy AI seems quite good, you really have to work as a team. The gameplay seems to favor up close and personal combat. Melee attacks accounted for more than 50% of my kills last few levels I played.

Overall it was fun. Glad it's Co-Op and not stupid Deathmatch or CTF which has no relevance to the story. Horde mode though...It's going to get boring fast. I really don't care for this "stay in one area and shoot everything that pops out" multiplayer. Why can't we travel a bit? Go from point to point? At any rate hopefully BioWare comes up with some creative and enjoyable modes and maps.

Um, you move quite a bit.  I'm traveling all over the 2 demo maps (then again, I'm a vanguard).  But if you ain't moving, the enemy is chucking grenades trying to get you to move.  And they flank you and move out as well so they can spread all over pretty quickly if you don't contain and eliminate.  OR, you're moving all over if you're down to solo or just two and getting hammered by guardians and an atlas.  THen you've got to progressively retreat to a more secure area and wait for them to come before resuming the carnage.

Sit and camp COD this MP mode is definitely not.

Finally unlocked a different race last night. I'd never seen an Asari until I played one. It came with my first Veteran Pack. But, what I really wanted was the Quarian Engineer. Seems I've been luckier than most, though. Up until then, I'd been buying the cheaper ones and only unlocking various human classes.

Can we change this up in the main game, pretty please? Eh, it's not a huge deal. I guess we can import what we don't want into Galaxy at War assets in the full game.

My compliments to the team EA acquired to do multiplayer. Yes, there need to be improvements, but it's ten times more engaging than the mess that is single player.

Nice concept. However, some issues I certainly kept hitting are if you host a public game and invite a friend into the team, apparently nobody else ever joins the public slots. Either that or the PC MP scene is totally dead right at this moment, or there is some additional port opening needing doing that was totally uncommunicated. It really shouldn't be necessary to have local ports open to run a public game that is hosted on EA's servers. If it's being locally hosted, make that extremely clear, so that we don't have games hosted on poor connections. All in all I found attempting to play with friends frustrating; it just didn't seem to work in the game.

Inviting friends via Origin in-game was a poor experience. About half the time the UI just doesn't work properly. You right click on someone and go to invite and it ignores you, or you right click and nothing happens. Using the key combo to enable Origin overlay only works some of the time. Not enormously impressed with this beta Steam copycat. Join Game was also pretty buggy and doesn't bring the game to front if you do so from main Origin. All very awkwardly handled, and as mentioned before, once all that was done, you couldn't get a team of friends + others to get 4 together.

Single 'do everything' key was annoying in SP. It's downright clumsy & lethal in MP. Never a good thing when you start yelling at the screen 'no you idiot, don't do that!' ^_^

No text chat support in the lobby? Not everyone is voice enabled. Some basic squad commands or squawking that can be key-bound would be good as well. Nobody remembers Unreal Tournament 'Cover me' and so on?

On the subject of voice, we really need individual mic volume control for teammates, some people are just plain loud and local control of volume of each person would be really good ala Ventrilo & Teamspeak.

Id like the packs to go and instead purchase whats needed. Im tired of getting the same equipment over and over again while hardly ever unlocking a new character.

I think a store menu with different categories would be better. Have equipment be priced low, have weapons priced moderate-high, and have characters set at a high price.

I want to choose what to spend my hard earned money on, not gamble on a variety pack.

I love it! But I do have to say that I hate the Revive button being the same as the cover and roll/sprint button. It really needs to get changed.
Also, we need a better system for unlocking characters. The Random pack thing is annoying as hell.
Overall, it's so much fun! And addicting! The Phantoms are fierce <3

Simple but nice gameplay, smooth lobby/match finding, great unlocks system (I love it, reminds me of that feeling whenever I got my hands on a new booster of trading card games).

Good job BioWare whereverthiswasmade studio.

Bioware did not make the multiplayer. From my understanding, a new studio that EA bought is responsible for the great multiplayer we are now experiencing, NOT Bioware. If I'm mistaken, a dev can correct me.

Is anybody else unable to bring up the weapon and power wheels during MP? No matter how long I hold down the button, the wheels don't pop up (and they worked just fine in the SP part of the demo).

The best Co-Op I have ever played. I have played both Uncharted and Gears, ME3 MP is the cream of the crop, IMHO. The mode starts you out really weak and then you become really strong after the upgrades.

You are mistaken, it's indeed a new studio, but a new BioWare studio still, from what I read.

On the Store packages, wouldn't it be great to have a regular browsable weapons/mods/equipments menu where you see the prices and what you are buying all the while having a randomized cache like the current packages for some good random loots with a high price tag? So no more race unlocks and minor things but of course not outrageously good items to break the game. It's like the military way of saying good work team, here's some booty for your trouble. (Probably mentioned somewhere before but I think the middle way approach to this problem is ideal.)

My first impression about MP: I really suck at it...
But is extremely fun anyway, I haven't played anything online since CS:S was on the hype, ME3 might ressurect my interest for MP.

Loving the MP so far. Only had a few issues, mostly with teammates that think they are playing CoD and they just need to run around killing anything that moves. Lost track of how many times i'll be interacting with something and see my guys that are "covering me" run away to try and kill something.

Only issues as far as gameplay:
The ninja chick, forget what the name is, she SUCKS.
Melee- I've seen this mentioned a few times already but it happened to me a few times today. Heavy Melee is cool and all but I've lost track of how many times i'll have the kill stab lined up hit the heavy melee and the AI will just slide to the side and I'll miss (usually resulting in me getting omnitool slashed by the AI).

Also, have you given any thought to giving us AI control friendlies to fill in spots? I was on this morning and every time I queued up it was me and one other guy, maybe 2. I've only had a full group twice.

Other then the melee issue loving the MP so far. It's funny I'm finding myself almost if not more excited about launch for the MP then I am the single player mode. Which is really odd.

Edit: For reference, I played on both the PC and Xbox.

Gave it a try, didn't really care for it - but I'm not much of a multiplayer person anyway. Ignoring that, I did like the customization and leveling up. For what it is, far as I can tell it's good. My only criticism that isn't colored by my innate dislike of shooter multiplayer is that I wish there was another challenge level that was easier for groups of people like me who suck at combat; a challenge is fine, but even on Bronze it was excessively difficult to me.

But eh, who knows? Might not be bad for the people used to such games and play modes. Either way, it's not bad, just not really my thing, as I suspected it wouldn't be.

I'm not going to complain about lack of modes, or better objectives for the waves yet, because the game is still in demo, and the full version could have more variety. The level progression can be slower, or people will max their level fast and lose motivation to play. The combat is really a improvement from ME2 but for a MP game needs lots of fixes and improvements. The MP have a lot of potential to be one of the best i've ever played. Please bioware fix those bugs in the full version and i"ll buy 18 copies of the game, i swear

Some more Feedback:

Xbox 360

Issues:

- Powers not working if enemy is in a fixed animation like "stagger": Things like Bionic Explosion, Shockwave, Pull etc. often (8 out of 10) don't work if the targeted enemy is doing a fixed animation, like being staggered, rolling, or doing that "I'm on fire, Help!" thing. Goes right through.
The same goes for the Atlas: After attacking with a Shockwave - usually that staggers him - there seems to be a period when he's invulnerable to being staggered, especially when he's doing certain actions, like firing a rocket or something.

- Still having problems with all people being ready, the game saying in green "Waiting for Match to Start" but never starting.

- Blacklisted and not getting into games until dashboard and reloading. Every so often you start a game with terrible lag, have that long loading screen and then the "Please Wait" at the start of the mission or something else goes wrong. After that has happened it seems that you are blacklisted, constantly losing connections to games, interminable loading screens etc. to the point that you can't get into any games until you dashboard and reload the demo.

- Teammates on auto-fire. This happens a lot, apparently every time when one of your teammates fires his weapon during the short loading times when a new wave starts. He then just keeps having that firing animation without actually firing (flashes in front of his weapon with no sound or bullets coming out).

- Killed by lag: Had one game where I couldn't see the enemies and was attacked (Wave 1) by Something in a steady rhythm, every five seconds there was a loud boom and my Barrier went almost down, with no one in sight. No, no hidden snipers, no red beams, no phantoms, nothing. It was Wave 1 on Bronze.

Other stuff:

Also, I still think you should get huge points for stopping an enemy from stomping your teammate (like Shockwave when he's already raising his foot).

I agree with whoever said things about the difference between your turret and the Cerberus turret. In my opinion the enemy turret is next to the phantom the hardest "enemy" to tackle. 2 seconds and you're dead. And then you get like 50 points for destroying it. And then you think you'll show them by getting your own turret and it seems even weaker than the Drone.

I think the Sentinel class is a bit useless, especially that Tech-Armor, but that's just me...

I want to map my powers to my own buttons, please. Every time you change classes but have the same powers the buttons change. It's very annoying. Why are we not able to map our three power to the buttons we want?

At some point/level in the MP you should be able to choose your three powers within the class from all available powers for that class. If I want to play as a Sentinel and NOT use Tech Armor I should be allowed to.

What happens after level 30 (or so) in your class when you've unlocked all the upgrades? New Skills? New Powers?

Still, having a lot of fun with it.
