Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Demo feedback. What did you think?

This about being able to change up on the fly if you need to.
Also, since I just remembered it now, I like that reserve ammo can be increased, but I also wish we could increase the amount of shots we can fire per. Either that or please reduce the length of time it takes to reload.

I really hope we can redistribute our points in the full-version, as having an optimized build is surely going to be paramount

Some concerns:
-The difficulty is slightly high for bronze. Around wave 6 or 7 there is little chance of passing unless you have 4 people in your game. I'm not so sure its the difficulty as it is the amount of enemies attacking at once, from all different sides of the map. It just sometimes gets frustrating playing four games in a row with only 3 players and not passing wave 7.
-I have had one major issue where the demo completely froze my 360. This only happened once, and I think it had to do with the host leaving the game or something like that, but I figure its worth mentioning.
- I have had a few glitches where enemies freeze in place and take no damage for about 15 seconds...and then they spawn a few feet away. Its like a hiccup, nothing too major but it has happened at least four times.
-Like others said, those turrets are super OP. I've never been killed by an atlas, but those turrets are insane.
Other than that, I'm having a blasssttt with the demo. The retail version is going to be sick!

Aside from that the multiplayer's good (note colateral shotgun headshot on a Centurion and a trooper is extremely satisfying).
EDIT: I forgot the objective that involves killing a certain enemy has way too short a time limit. If you're a low level character there's no way you're taking them down.

I don't want to play a human. I want to use the aliens, and I don't want to have to grind for days or weeks to get them.

Concern: At one point in the demo, I was somehow floating above the ground. I was unable to enter cover, or do much of anything; my character was hopping up and down and eventually I fell off the edge of the map and continued falling forever. So, add an out-of-bounds thing someplace below the map. My solution was to quit the game and rejoin.

Honestly, the one complaint I have is that the only way to respec my Vanguard in the demo is to unlock the male human version. I've made my choices that looked reasonably good on paper, but have turned out to be not so great in practice. Specifically, going for the 25% faster cool-down Nova upgrade over the half-blast.
I really hope we can redistribute our points in the full-version, as having an optimized build is surely going to be paramount
In the full game there is a means to respec your characters

One issue I had was that when I was playing (along with another couple forumites) we got up to level eight and the game glitched. Essentially we had eliminated all the enemies but the next wave wouldn't activate for some reason. There were three of us and the only way we could carry on without losing all the XP/credits was for the host to leave so that the wave would restart. They then had to rejoin. Not a complaint just something that I hope will help the devs in some small way when fixing bugs etc. Overall very happy

Horde mode though...It's going to get boring fast. I really don't care for this "stay in one area and shoot everything that pops out" multiplayer. Why can't we travel a bit? Go from point to point? At any rate hopefully BioWare comes up with some creative and enjoyable modes and maps.
Um, you move quite a bit. I'm traveling all over the 2 demo maps (then again, I'm a vanguard). But if you ain't moving, the enemy is chucking grenades trying to get you to move. And they flank you and move out as well so they can spread all over pretty quickly if you don't contain and eliminate. OR, you're moving all over if you're down to solo or just two and getting hammered by guardians and an atlas. THen you've got to progressively retreat to a more secure area and wait for them to come before resuming the carnage.
Sit and camp COD this MP mode is definitely not.
I mean movement as in leaving an area and entering a new one. Traveling, not just running around a defined area. Right now you are confined to an area and merely have to keep it clear of baddies. I'm thinking what if you had to travel area to area, point A to point B to point C, etc., to complete an objective(s). That's what made co-op in GOW so much fun.

- Maps
- Random for bonus XP
- Wave mechanics
- Ammo Crates (Con that grenades have a timer)
Cons:
- Races have limited classes (other than humans)
- 2 weapon slots for Soldier and they can't be used for 2 ARs
- Limited use items (just allow 1 use per item per match)
- Random crates for unlocks
- Difficulty does not scale down for less people
- Takes ~2/3 of the starting AR's clip to kill one enemy without shields on easy/bronze (starting)
- The spacebar
- Cannot chose starting race/class (simple fix, have 6 unlocks allowed from the start)
- Weight system (I might as well equip no guns and only use abilities)
- Heavy Melee (too open for other enemies to damage you)
- No AI allies to fill empty slots
- No apparent Health and Shield gain on level independent from upgrades
- No ammo mods on Soldier (other than limited use items)
- Universal cooldowns (Adrenaline Rush uses the same resource as Concussive Shot?)
- Bars for guns rather than numbers (damage, accuracy etc.)
Edit:
Great Potential Additions:
- Option for ally indicators to be more pronounced
- Current game stats (aka end game stats visible mid-game by hitting Tab/Select/Back)
- Credits based on wave by wave, rather than every third or fourth
- More chances for bonus XP and credits in the form of mods eg. no abilities, no guns, 1 more shield bar on enemies, friendly fire, etc.

I think if you look in keybindings under the Online sub-section the 'T' key is bound to text chat... Except it doesn't seem to be working in the demo.
Also the combat just takes a bit of practice. Dodge rolling, knowing the best part of the two maps to quickly sprint to if in danger. Oh and always keeping a 'team-buddy' with you makes it a lot easier.
Only a few enemies, such as the Phantom and the Turret really cause some damage. But it just takes getting used to.
That it does, it has a learning curve and I tend to start with easy so I can pick up on it better. x_x However, this didn't even have an easy mode for me to get used to, just dying over and over.
And ah, thanks for telling me about the text chat. Strange that it's broken in the demo.
However, once ME3 comes out, I'm hoping that the talk feature isn't glitched and I'll REALLY be able to give better feedback based on that. x_x

You know what made me mad. I just got the reverent assault rifle and it has the same fire rate and damage as the avenger YET it weighs more. I think Bio ware needs to last min tweak the guns so that guns do more or less damage and are much more diversified.
Next there needs to be a back out fee or people who jump in games only to die in round 1or2 then leave right away(maybe just them not gaining ANY credits/exp for the match).
Some abilities are worthless. When you use "Tactical Clock" you still are attacked i(and others) have used it countless times but the AI shoot at us anyways(moving/standing still/not even firing a weapon) they auto lock and shoot you. This really needs to be fixed. Also did you know that proximity mines they just combat roll over them and they don't activate(try it i'm not kidding).
Last my friend was a Engineer(Qurian level 10) I'm a level 20Human soldier with almost max fitness/alliance training and for some reason his shields AND HEALTH where higher then mine. Shouldn't the Soldier classes have the highest health out of them all?
Anyways beside those 4issues I LOVE THIS GAME!!! i cant wait till midnight on the 6th to get my preorder and beat it for REAL.
GOOD JOB BIOWARE!!!
Signed a SUPER-HAPPY FAN!!!!

It was a little intimidating because some of the people I played with were really good. I probably won't play multiplayer again, but it was fun to try. Overall experience was good.
Some of you players are hardcore. It's fun to watch, even if slightly confusing.

- When someones down, their cross can change colour according to how much time they have left before bleeding out. e.g. it slowly goes from blue to red, so you know roughly how much time you have left?
- In spectator mode, you watch the person's actual screen like in Left 4 dead/Zombie mode in COD
- Some else suggested you can 'tag' enemies to tell your team mates to watch out for them. Pretty good idea, especially if theres a phantom or atlas and you dont have a mic.
again theyre just light suggestions so yeah
