I have to say I am usually not a Multiplayer guy and just tried it out of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the MP in the Demo so much I preordered ME3 which is something I very rarely do.
Just one feedback: I am having trouble mapping the powers to use them comfortably. I just now mapped Qiuck slot 1-3 to my mouse extra buttons but I have to change the key bindings every time I switch my Character because I use different powers.
Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Demo feedback. What did you think?

Well I was one of the many who thought the multi player was going to be a poor gimmick, and then was pleasantly surprised how good it actually was, I think I've had more fun with the multi player demo then the single...
Anyway it I've found that the enemy turrets tend to be overpowered and can rip you apart with ease (For a Vangard I find this, unsure if its just me but each team member I've played with seemed to die with ease).
A way to make it so all voice chat was muted rather then going person by person would be a bonus (can't stand nerd raging).
Unlocks, if you pick a pacific upgrade for a higher cost would be a bonus.
More race combinations.
Also I would really love if it could be cross platform, Having a friend with a PC and being on a PS3 we would love to play together.
Other then that really enjoyed it.

Bugs I encountered:
* frequently the firing animation keeps going after people have stopped firing
* (new) powers not showing up in the power slots - seems to be fixeable by restarting the demo and reentering multiplayer without changing characters
Annoying things I'd like to see changed:
* inability to rearrange powers on the hotbar - I can do it in singleplayer, so why not in multiplayer?
* spacebar does too much at once - let us remap the different functions of spacebar to seperate keys, I would prefer 1 key for take cover, 1 key for sprint/dodge and 1 key for use/activate/revive
* Matchmaking doesn't fill up existing groups - you can wait for ages and never fill up the empty lobby slots because the quick match option seems to prefer throwing players into new lobbies together instead of filling up existing ones - that should simply not be happening, if you have less than a full group and your slots are public the matchmaking system should be trying to find you additional players to fill your group instead of constantly creating new ones.
* Why is there no option to join a quick match as a pre-existing group?
* The rocket launcher in MP can only be used if you have rocket packs and can be pulled out by activating slot 5 on the hotbar, but it's still part of the normal weapon-change rotation as well - I find this very annoying, since I always pull out the rocket launcher accidentally at the wrong moment, so I would like to see an "option" to remove the rocket launcher from the regular weapon rotation and have it only be available if you hit button 5.
* Having no other way to unlock new additional races and gender options (and to an extent weapons and weapon upgrades as well) except through luck of the draw is BAD - many people want to play a specific character setup and it takes forever to unlock if you're having pot luck - there should be some set way to unlock these things, like reaching a certain level or N-rank, or even by paying a generous amount of credits, as long as it's not totally random - as far as I see it the character unlocks you find in the booster packs should be a BONUS, but not the main way to obtain them, they are way too random for that.

Mr.Priestly.
So far ME3 MP has been the most entertaining MP i have ever had the plesure to play. The Movements are smooth, fluid, little anoyed at the cover system thought that is more my keyboard than anything, but so far this is turing out to be superb. I cannot wait for the full version, this looks worth the £35.

After playing on both console and PC i can safly say it's fantastic. Fantastic apart from some control issues. The need to be less actions on the space bar/A button/X button. Only sprint needs to be separated out imo. But the more options, with this stuff, the better. On the consoles L3 seams like a good choice for sprint. With the 90 cover slip going to R3 or, although i suspect it'd be a little more complex to get working, the cover slip could be another context sensitive X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox) button action. And then R3 could change the shoulder you aim over, which is always useful.

I never wanted to play MP, but it's awesome.
And all, because i want to play ME3, but not the SP because of spoiling...
I was surprised to see after 3 days a lot of people have N-120. Bioware people ? ^^
If my calculation is right : 6 classes X 4 chars x 20 level = N 480.
That sounds like long long fun !

At first when i heard that the multiplayer was just thrown in at the last minute i was a bit skeptic on how good it would be, though i was pleasantly surprised on how fun and challenging it was.
My first match was on bronze difficulty with just me and a friend and we could only tough it out to about round 5 but it was so fun it did not really matter. The only thing that really annoys me is the phantom character as she can sometimes get an instant kill on you if your not careful and on a rare occasion someone would go under over the map ( I've seen this occur about 7 times now in approximately 28 gaming hours).
Also, with the unlocks I think it would be bit better if they were more specific, such as weapon crates that would contain new weapons and mods and supply crates that contain basic equipment and chances of unlocking new characters. So there would be two kinds of rookie crates and two kinds of veteran crates.
Oh one thing that bugs me is that on the Xbox Me and friend can't join up before searching for a match, we each got to search for a match and hope there is a open spot for one of us to hop in, It would be much appreciated if you can include Pre-lobby before the game lobby.
Other than that your demo to me is completely perfect, I've already pre-order Mass Effect 3 before the demo, but with the multiplayer I know im going to be completely addicted to it.

The controls are irritating. The space-bar for 3 things are to many. if you want to run you cover. if you whant out of cover its going to a other covering spot.
The special abilities are gone if you are playing with people that are lower in rank. We were playing with 3 clanmates and 2 of them have no special abilities.
This is so irritating that i'm considering not to buy the game.
Graphics are good, the game is good only the controls are bugged.

Is there any word of in-game and in-lobby text chat? That's a bit jarring not to have it.

For the most part, love the MP. I wanted it since ME1 and tons of people cried "oh no! Not ME! It cant have MP in a shooter! That makes no sense!" Now it's out and everyone loves it...typical. Who would've guess playing with others is fun? LOL! I thought it was common sense, but whatever... ME is a shooter. Shocking! But when the fighting stops it's RPG.
Ok on to the MP. Love it and there are only a few concerns:
Store sucks. Random=bad. Getting same guns and upgrades multiple times, no characters even when saving up for big pack=bad. It should list items and let you BUY THEM. Not randomized packs. Keep that old school terrible RPG way of dice rolling out of my credit usage!
cover need work. You try to get off the wall and run and you just cover again and get killed. Too much is on 1 button!
Need bosses and story to the MP since you claim Team Death Match/ DM doesnt fit when it perfectly fits Mass Effect. There is no reason other than laziness to leave those modes out
Race unlock system sucks. Need to be able to unlock by level of class. Not random
All unlocks should be by level/ or purchase from store by selecting it and buying it.
Random glitches
Camera when in a building and fighting up close can result in looking thru a wall or elsewhere and you being blind to the fight your in! Too many times the camera went in the wall or something and I couldnt see the person attacking me! Not sure if a glitch that often occurs or bad design.
Need bosses
Need a better search engine for finding people. You should have a lobby to see other lobbies needing slots to be filled! This would help you find out if others are online and your not making it in the room on time or what. I thought no one knew of the MP being out for 2 days. Then you have a filter for people using mics or not as well.
choosing a weapon tedious and clunky. It should have had all slots clearly labeled and empty explaining you need to select a slot and put a gun in from a category.
Need more happening on maps, like weather, pedestrians, moving pieces etc.
Sometimes powers dont activates and you have to hit them more than once or they seem delayed from the button press
Why is there no hack function for the Engineer in MP? No turrets, cryo-bullets, no barriers or geth shields either. This saddens me like having no salarian in engineer...
Whats great? Everything else. Gameplay is solid for the most part and only had the world flicker or disappear completely a few times out of the 10 hrs I put in. Got stuck in geometry a few times as well, but mostly glitch free matches! Oh lastly Ive seen me kill a guy with a heavy melee and and they live, but I instantly fall to the ground skipping them hitting me and die with a ton of frames in the animation missing... Only happened a few times, but...
Sound is EXCELLENT this game. Bioware and Dice did an amazing job on sound effects! Bioware did an amazing job bringing the graphics/ gameplay up a notch this game!

I was very surprised by how much fun the multiplayer is!! I've been a huge mass effect fan for years, and I thought the idea of adding multiplayer was a stupid, meaningless gimmick.. Until I tried it! The gameplay, the way you progress, and that you use the money from missions to buy packs like magic cards, are put together in a really great way!

Some issues:
- If the host leaves, the wave reset doesn't seem to work properly, leaving you with zero rewards for what you've done so far.
- If you click on the skip option after a game, where you're distributed XP and credits, you don't get the rewards.
- Not being able to bind cover to something other than the interact/storm/cover button makes for some clunky gameplay at times. Sticking to the wrong wall on higher difficulties = instant death. At least make it an option in the PC version where keybind space is aplenty.
- The transition between bronze and silver might be a bit too harsh for most public groups.
- The in-game text chat seems to be broken at the moment.
Things that I love:
- The TCG (trading card game) way of unlocking things, even though it can be frustrating at times to get stuff for classes I don't use.
- The frantic nature of the gameplay.
- The shooting mechanics. Everything feels extremely solid.
- The "umph" of the powers and the leveling system.
- It's really, really fun.
Some suggestions:
- Make some of the follower commands usable in multiplayer. At least the "Order Rally" (for everyone) and "Order attack" (for the leader) options. Add even more commands, if that's possible. Not everyone plays with a headset, and even then it could be useful to coordinate tactics.
- Adding a region filter to the matchmaking settings. It's nice and all to play with players overseas, but it can get very laggy.
Overall a fantastic demo. Best I've played in ages, and I'll definitely spend a lot of time in this game.

Great Demo!
Bug Noted: Occasional ability to shoot through walls.
Ability to remap the "A" button on Xbox360 to one of the analog sticks. Often forces you to cover where you don't want to be.
A situational map to locate teammates would be a welcome addition. Overal a very fun, solid demo.

Time for some criticism.
I didn't find any flaws in the multiplayer gameplay itself. It seems just perfect with a nice mix of player interaction, mob respawn mechanic and their actions on the field. A little bit more of cooperation from the NPC would be nice, but i guess it's just AI improvements.
What i'm going to do is focusing on social part.
First of all - god damn, where is a chat inside the lobby?! How the hell should I inform my random squadmates that their equipment/character is unappropriate on this level of difficulty/with this setup? And, of course, where is a battle-chat with Y or T? Or a simple list of commands, or SOMETHING to make people understand what do you want them to do.
Second - why, why, WHY don't we have a possibility to CHOOSE the lobby we want to join? I want a list, i want to see what characters are already waiting, what is their equipment, their overall experience. A little bit of statistics would be nice too - like % of headshots, % of overall accuracy, amount of deaths per round, average amount of kills per round etc.
Third - character naming mechanic. It's 24 characters in total, meaning that I need to come up with a unique name for each one of them. Doesn't it seem a little bit...excessive? Wouldn't it be easier just to write one nickname with a class name in brackets? Like this "Brainslnside[Sentinel]"? That's another issue, by the way - why the class is not written in the menu when you press Esc in-game?
Fourth - if you use such random-item system, you need a market. Bartering, credit-trade type - i don't care much. Just give the players a chance to get an item they want without neccesity to grind 100500 millions of credits and buy damn load of those boxes.
That's all. For now, at least.
P.S. As far as i see, EA does not want players to make a lot of choices. We're given the round, we're given the items, that's it. Maybe, they see it as a feature from the past. But it's not. Clearly, implementing such close bindings of social part of the game with Origin won't do any good.

The funny thing is we mentioned this when ME2 came out. Well, PC users did. And we long for the Demiurge treatment that we were given in ME. I don't know if the weapon limit (2) is what will be in the final game, but utilizing the F keys would be great if we'll be able to carry more weapons.

I have been playing the Xbox 360 version of the ME3 demo. I have greatly enjoyed the gameplay portion of the demo so far.
My single complaint is the matchmaking system on Xbox Live. I always choose public match, any map, any scenario, etc. Many times when I am searching for a game I will get matched up with 3 people who promptly drop out. There does not appear to be live drop-in/drop-out like in Left 4 Dead. The multiplayer missions are considerably harder when there are only 2 or 3 live players as opposed to a full set of 4, making proper matchmaking rather important.
As I said, the gameplay is very enjoyable. Working on the matchmaking a little more would be great for the end-user experience.
Thanks.

Ok....
First of all I have no problem with sharing the mass effect expericence with friends. Its a great idea.
However, in practical terms, it does not seem to be working.
Not having been an early adopter, I started on friday. I tried all evening until I finally quit in frustration. I was paired with level 20s and 50s and 60s. They didn't want a newbie to carry. This isn't a fault of Bioware, it is a fault of human elitism.
I tried again Saturday morning. This time I did get to stay in a game for a while but it was like I was just some extra guy chasing after big brother. The high level was just running around solo far ahead of the team. It was obvious they had no use or need for anyone else.
Neither of these are faults of Bioware, but it is the reality of what happens in multiplayer games.
Aside from that, I can't say much since I have yet to actually experience the multiplayer as I think bioware intended and I don't think I will be able to. Which is only a little disappointing but not a big deal since its the single player game that I am interested in anyway.

Overall pretty good. I can live with the random unlocks, but not with the random matchmaking. Need some sort of server browser otherwise people will constantly quit at the start of games after realising they have horrible ping or horrible teammates. I think the benefits of having a browser will outweight its downsides (if any)

I personally love the random boxes. Makes it very difficult to create that "super loadout" from the get go. Changes things up, keeps the teams diverse and different.
I mean, think about it, if you could buy the best weapons as you wish, the only prerequisite being credits, don't you think everyone would end up playing the same few weapons as soon as they get enough credits to buy them? That would get old, very fast.
I would agree that you should be able to unlock Races differently, by doing things like reaching a specific amount of kills in a specific way to unlock the next race in your class (i.e. 50 biotic kills unlocks the next Adept race; 50 headshot sniper kills the next Infiltrator etc.)

Matchmaking is my biggest issue with the multiplayer, I spend more time watching people drop out in lobabies than actually playing the game, I have yet to even get through Silver since every lvl 5 or below joins the game then quits. Seriously stop matching me with these cowards

I love it! I think you should add a pause option. Maybe when you click esacpe there could be a request pause option and if the majority of players say yes than it pauses the game. It's frustrating not to be able to pause the game when it's just you and friends playing and you need to pause it. But otherwise it's awesome! Can't wait for more maps and enemies!

I absolutely loved it. I kind of like the grab bag of the crates, but I haven't made enough $ to get the same things over and over again. I agree that it should recognize the mods and characters you already have so you don't keep unlocking the same thing. I really wish there was a way to map which powers you want to which buttons. I am using an Adept and having Warp mapped to the L1 button makes it hard to aim (L2) and Warp at the same time, which I do frequently. I also wish each wave, or at least every other had a challenge, I have been through a couple times where the group lasts several waves but we don't earn any $, which is kind of annoying. All in all pretty great as long as there are enough maps and enemy variation in the full game!

Pressing A for EVERYTHING is awful. I can't tell you how many times I was doing backflips over a fallen enemy while trying to revive them.
Also.... no radar.
No indication of the direction of incoming fire.
Very hard to distinguish enemies from teammates in CQC situations.
The foundation for a successful MP experience is there, but this feels very unfinished.
