I enjoy the MP demo very much.
Would like to see the packs broken down better. Yes they could still be random,but would it be so hard for one pack to contain Weapons,mods,and Armor mods,while the other pack may contain less but consist of characters,health and bonuses.

I'm a level 40 and have to watch level 4-12's play with my Quarian,while im stuck as a character against my will.

I thought it should have been a little something like Shepards creator screen.
Choose a name,then race,then class,then 3 powers. So are there NO Quarian Biotics?
Couldn't one implant a L5 chip or something? I do like the way they set it up,but it does feel as if some races are missing from certain classes. Example any race should be able to be a soldier.

I would be happy with a Quarian engineer,but after 40 levels and alot of money,I'm still sitting assed out.!.

Stop standing in front of the player in first place,rush to the checkpoints,and try reviving someone.
It's not hard,and can be very entertaining.

Also the Canniex hand pistol is amazingly strong. Headshots from across the map...

Oh for that, every ammo stack replenishes grenades once or twice a round so if you can not get grenades from one stack go to another, took me a little while to figure out too :)

Is there a specific reason why turians and krogans can't evade? they're defenseless to phantoms and atlas missiles because they can't strafe fast enough to get them, not only that, it also means that when a grenade lands next to any of them, they will have to get out of their cover and rotate, then run, instead of performing an evade and saving their lives and not making everyone on the team have to try to revive them while a turret rips them apart.

This too. 

It doesn't help that if you try to run you might accidentally end up covering, making yourself an easy target while you try to go out of cover again to run...

In 1 word Awesome! The only thing i can mention which i hope will be customizable @ retail is that PC players can bind different keys to cover/sprint/roll...god how many times have i wanted to roll away or sprint and my damn char just sticks to a wall like a charged magnet hehe.

Other than that just awesome! Really really happy with the MP so far.

Overall I really enjoy the multiplayer however there are a couple of things that I have noticed were detrimental to my experience.

- Lagging out when a player other than the host recieves credits, or XP for completing a wave.
- A bug where my character would not do any damage to any targets until I got downed and revived.
- A bug where I wasn't able to aquire ammo for my weapons at the ammo boxes. (Only my grenades would get replenished)
- Upon selecting a new character, some of the hotkes for that character weren't applied to skills. (e.g. 2 and 3 would not be assigned to anything and to use a skill I would need to open the left shift view)
- The chatbox functionality is either broken or missing completely in-game.  (PC)
- Chatboxes should be implemented in the pre-game lobby. (PC)
- A server browser for PC would be nice.
- The names above friendly players is inconsistent at times. (I noticed this especially with infiltrators using cloak)
- Phantoms do a bit too much damage overall, they can practically 3 shot at a distance or kill you with they're animation in one shot up close. Either remove the one shot ability or decrease they're ranged damage.
- Difficulty between challenge levels are is bit too steep.
- Stablility of the game decreases as players join and quit games.
- Dedicated servers would be really helpful.
- Awarding players with the kills when using biotics is a bit inconsistent. (e.g. Sometimes whoever used pull on an enemy would get the pull kill even when another biotic used warp to detonate him. Or sometimes the person who used pull would get the biotic explosion kill)
(Not multiplayer related but  oops) - I think grenades bounce too much.

As for the unlock system, it is strating to get a bit redundant always getting the medi-gels and resupply packs and random items. I understand that this may be to extend the longevity of the game and its replay value. However, I think that if most of the items in the packs were stand alone purchases, it would allow players to make more tactical choices about their character builds.

My point exactly, the bonuses you do get for being the race doesn't count for much even if you did evade because you're about twice the size of the other races.

Bioware, how about you keep all the races on level footing in the multiplayer with everyone able to do the same maneuvers, but with each race having different statistical bonuses, instead of saying "well turians and krogans shouldn't be able to dodge grenades, lets stop them dodging". it spoils the fun of the game on any difficulty because you keep getting hit by grenades that everyone else can dodge except for you, and then everyone else has to panic about it and try to revive you.

The only thing that really bugs me so far is that I keep running into people on XBL who try to take level 1's on a gold level.

I think a level limit system might be a good idea. Maybe like, 10 for silver and 15 for Gold or...I dunno, you guys are smarter than me when it comes to balancing.

True, but I play as a Turian, and it is very annoying and quite frankly terrifying when the phantom comes sliding at me as if her boots were lubed up and just stabs me once and I get killed cause I couldn't dive out of the way.  Turians/Krogans should have something to make up for this shortcoming.
Also more customization of armour/face and skin colours would be nice right off the bat instead of unlocked.  Perhaps armour permutations could be unlocked, which give various benefits/shortcomings.  Also, why no male quarians?  Aside from that, the MP is dastardly fun, and I cannot wait for the new maps and gammodes to come with the final release of the game, keep it up Bioware!

I think another option should be added to matchmaking instead of only quick match or create a new match there should be an option to look through the lobby’s that have already been created so that you are able to choose what match you are going into, something like the way the first gears of war done online matchmaking. As I mention earlier an active roster would be great, had being in a game when everyone leaves and its back to looking for a new game

Multiplayer is actually more fun than I was expecting! I love it! Now I can finally use all the same abilities (plus some new ones) on waves of enemies with less than idiotic teammates! It feels good to have human players as teammates, because the computer teammates always ran into battle and didn't move strategically even after giving them orders.

I love the engineer. A good class for the intermediate player. Adepts are a blast also!

Wishlist: tweak the cover system is possible. I'm having some issues (like the other Mass Effects) where it's difficult come out of cover or get into cover. It just doesn't have a comfortable *snap* to it.

Also, i don't know if it's just me, but when I'm in the lobby, it seems like no one can join my games but I can join other people. Weird...

Other than that, I know I'll be spending half a lifetime grinding on multiplayer after that main game!!!

ye the aliens should move differently but that doesnt mean that they can do a roll or something like that.

Yes, but they shouldn't have a feature that is put in place and was requested by fans be removed entirely. They should have some method of avoiding oncoming projectiles, but they don't, they are literally like rabbits in headlights. most other races do have unique evade animations (salarians push off to one side, asari use push themselves away with biotics, drell flip away from danger), and they are nice to have, but these two don't have anything at all, if you try it, they do nothing (unless its pointed forwards, in which case you will either storm or move into cover.

If I could play as a Krogan,Turian.Asari,Drell,or Quarian, I would have given it a try. But Bioware simply will not let me.

This was terrible. Now I know what ME would be like if it sucked. Instantly given a reminder of why I don't play online to begin with the first 2 times I tried to play when someone just sat there not doing anything instead of hitting 'ready' like everyone else. People pay for this?

Once I finally did get a game there were only three of us because the above happend again. I was the leader and tried to kick the guy holding us up but that didn't even work. I guess he eventually left or whatever. There's not really any teamwork here. I also had no idea there were ammo caches and ran out. This of course resulted in spectacular failure.

The second time it was going well in general other than the others being selfish but we weren't failing at least. Eventually I stayed over on the side next to the ammo and covered the space port,took down an Atlus single handedly. So I have no idea what the hell happend when we failed on wave 10 or 11. One person was missing and we ran out of time. I don't know what they were doing. At one point there was nothing in the port and I ran down the hallway they were at and killed a phantom then went back expecting them to have moved on to the target but I guess not because time ran out and it was game over.

Overall an extremely poor experience and even at it's best barely played well. Like most other traditionallly single player games that needlessly forced in multiplayer it's worthless. But someone felt the need to make it tie into the story which makes it an even worse move. I can only imagine this will get even worse when the actual game comes out.

Never ever do this again and it shouldn't have been done to begin with.

I actually have been having a surprising amount of fun in the multiplayer. I wasn't really a fan of the singleplayer but you can tell this is a later build of the game where some of those control issues I found so frustrating have been addressed.

I really like the sort of booster pack unlock system I think it's very refreshing after to see that rather than in other multiplayer games where you see the criteria for unlocking something and just are filled with this sense of dread that you'll never unlock it, and you'll never have the time to level to that rank, obtain that many killstreaks or whatever.

That being said, I think race should be a choice not an unlockable. I'm fine with everything else, but if I want to play a Turian, I should be able to without rolling the dice on countless numbers of packs. This was one of the most exciting features for me when this multiplayer was first announced, and I'm a little disappointed that all I've managed to unlock is a Quarian Engineer, and 9912739172732 human "x" classes. I don't care about humans, they're boring. That's why I always leave them on the ship and go on my adventures with cool cats like Garrus. ^_^

Also reviving a teammate who got taken down near a wall is an impossible task, as you just continuously go into cover instead. If someone dies near a wall there body should either be pushed out from the wall a manageable amount, or they should die instantly, because no one can save them anyways.

Other than that though, really impressive, and I like the single use items and bonuses that you can apply. I'm going to be playing a lot of this multiplayer.

I must say that the multiplayer demo seems to have quite a few minor glitches and one major one.
- The first happened as an Adept on the the multiplayer map Firebase White I used Throw but the enemy instead of sashing into the wall
seemed to fly straightthrough it and out of the map. A similar thing 
happened in which a teammate Overloaded an Atlas during the Extraction
Wave of a Bronze Challenge on Firebase Ghost causing the Atlas to "sink"
into the map and be incapable of movement.
- The second occurs almost every time you have a "Data Siphon" objective or something similar to it
in which you are required to  activate four different nodes. When one
player Activates it another player can at any timeactivate it aswell.
Now whilst this doesn't effect gameplay at all this can be a niusance
and will be when players go all out on the harder difficulties when ME3
is fully released.

The third is damn near annoying and happens at the start of the game.
Sometimes you are frozen into position and immobile, you can still use
Powers, Weapons and your Combat Actions (Rolls, Melee) however you
simply are incapable of movement. Now the only three times this has
happened to me was after a Game in which the team stayed the same and
someone changes character (Like when I went from a Level 4 Infiltrator
to my Level 12 at the time Adept...). This is a serious issue and
prohibits gameplay and should be seen to!

Apart from these frustating issues the multiplayer is solid! Great addition to what promises to be an awesome game!

Character training items should be taken out of the packs in the store, there is no point to them and it takes up an item slot for something that I could just play a couple of games and I have gained more exp

This was my toughts exactly when i posted about it, did some mindstorming with a friend and we came up with having a requirement of lvl 10 for silver and a requirement of lvl 20 on gold. since gold being the highest difficulty i dont see a reason why it shouldnt be only accessed by lvl 20 characters.

OR, if there would be ranked matches wich would make u have to use a lvl 20 character.

Just some ideas, any toughts?

Really like all the ideas tried in the demo, like the co-op, the maps, the waves.... But!!!   Actually getting into a game has been a nightmare. No other issues with any other games. But this demo I'm getting disconnects galore!!

I've had a few good games where I got to about the 13th wave and since have been struggling to connect with 3 others.

The issues mentioned in this thread have also frustrated me - getting in and out of cover isnt smooth enough. .

I encountered a fairly serious bug today.  When attempting to purchase the Vetren Pack in multiplayer I got an error message something to the effect of "could not complete purchase at this time, try again later.  Please contact customer support if this issue persists."  However, the game took my 20,000 credits, I had 27,000 before and 7,000 after, so I couldn't even try to purchase it again.
