1) Sick of "Host has ended the session" as soon as I join a game lobby 80% of the time.

2) Sick of Hosts KICKING me and other people from a lobby because we are not high level's yet. Well, guess what? People cent get to a high level if NO ONE WILL LET YOU PLAY!!

3) Sick of having to buy the freakin' Equipment Packs every single time you get finished with a game. Over and over again. This is one of the WORST set-ups for item earning I have EVER seen in a MP game. When I buy something I want to keep it, I don't want to have to keep buying over and over again EVERY SINGLE TIME I start a new session. I honestly am sick of it, it's going to be a complete hassle doing this constantly if it is left in the actual game. I honestly think this is the stupidest set-up for item earning I have ever seen in game. Flat out ridiculous.

4) Movement of character animation is off. You "float" more than you actually move. Needs alot more precision.

5) Pointing forward towards an enemy is off if they move left or right because the direction movement is off. Again, partial because of the "floating". Reminds me of Jedi Academy Single Player on PC, you "floated" in that as well.

6) Cover system is not up to par. I find myself either not going to cover, or going to cover wrongly against the wrong wall or section.

7) Some of the Round 10 sections where you get extracted need more places to hide behind for cover. If you are in a group of 4 people there isn't enough room for 4 people to stay in cover from.

8) I would say 25% of the time when standing above a person to revive them it doesn't do anything. I set there hitting the A button, and nothing happens. I have died countless times because I was trying to revive someone and it wasn't doing anything.

1)Lobbies definetly could use some work. I'm hoping the servers become more stable and faster as we near launch. Today for the first time someone joined us mid game. Migration doesn't seem to work yet. A ready vote should be locked in.

2) I've seen this and it annoys me even as a level 16. We were all 1 once. The only time I will vote to kick low players is when they go Silver or higher (level 1 in there today... really?!)

3)Don't feel like you need them all the time. I'll horde some of my things, especially in the Bronze levels. Sure you may go down but you'll have them later. I strongly suggest only buying veteran as you unlock better weapons etc. I think a good fix would be to give more med-kits in general.

4)Yeah. Also, Slow, grid-like.

6)This is terrible. I was glad when I heard them say they would work on the cover system early in development, but now I don't see a fix. It's broken. Above all is the common sense fact that you can't have a button that dictates increased linear speed and simulaneously causes a sudden stop of movement and a forced change of direction caused by environmental triggers.

I am likeing the demo and I was wondering will we be able to keep all the unlocks we have unlocked in the demo for the retail verision or are we going to start from square one again?

I would have to say they are a bit underpowered and I didn't really notice until I was in a situation and had to Biotic Charge with a pistol. It was easier to take the enemy down after the charge with the pistol. I think the damage could be bumped slightly for close range, but even better would be less zoom on aim. Why am I zooming so much for a close range shot when the camera angle arleady causes tunnel vision?

The multiplayer demo is very enjoyable and fun! The thing i like the most is that you have to play as one team, to complete a mission, other then other games where you need only to run and shoot everything you see. I already unlocked Krogan, Asari, Drell and Quarian, and they are a lot of fun to play. Great job, guys! For me the single player still remains the most important part of the game, but the co-op multiplayer is great aswell. Can't wait for the full game!

1) Lobbies need alot of work actually. I sat for 10 min getting kicked out of lobby after lobby yesterday, literally one after another, and finally just gave up and went to bed. I have a good internet connection so it wasn't me.

2) I fail to see why you should kick someone in a demo. Your not earning achievements or anything you get to keep, so what is the point? Let everyone play for crying out loud. I can't stand that kind of mentality. If your a higher level, then HELP the lower level people, not kick them.

3) Equipment Packs is honestly just a horrible and flawed system. When I buy something that means I earned it, why the heck take it away after every session? It makes NO sense to me. They should just let you buy individual items, not a guessing game box that you have no idea what you are getting from. The Store should just have health packs, ammo packs, etc. Unlocking better weapons should just come with your level progress, not "prize" boxes. I honestly am sick of having to buy "prize" boxes all the time. Just let me buy what I want, and earn new character and weapons when I level.

6) I have died quite a few times because of the cover system being broken. Let me tell you ,it is NO Gears of War 3, not even close. What is also bad is if you are trying to evade a grenade and you get stuck on something or cant see the wall behind you because of the camera being off. The "floating" character animation, or lack there of, and camera being tunnled is part of the problem.

I think the demo is really fun. The only things that have irritated me is the limited games/maps (which is just because it's a demo, and therefore not a real gripe), that I can't bring a party into a match like most shooters, and the extremely low chances of getting a character drop (I've had more luck with Magic booster packs for goshsake).

You need to be able to move your powers around in the quickbar in the PC version. Secondary keys are mandatory for silver/gold, but since you can't move powers around in the quickbar, you need to reset your secondaries every time you switch class. Highly annoying.

I enjoyed it. I love that the multiplayer is Co-op, not competitive. The AI were awesome. Basically, I love it. I cant wait for the full game

Regarding the lobby:

A lot of leveling up and choosing of equipment and weapons is done in the lobby. Which means people gotta wait for others sometimes. What ends up happening is that if you are the ones waiting it seems like that one player is just being a douche or AFK, if you are the one setting up your character you can get booted because it's assumed you are just wasting other's time. Now voice in lobby can alleviate this, as well as indicators of where players are in the lobby (doing weapon load out for example) and worse to worse allow a timer countdown to boot a player.

I think the multi player has a lot of potential but some serious things need to be addressed. Matchmaking is horrid. Trying to get 4 people into a game can be frustrating. I have four slots I want four people. We definitely need a way to mute people. mics are really annoying with alot of people. And unless the persistent drops and disconnects are fixed this aspect of the game will fall apart.

One more thing I thought of was that I would like the power recharge speed to actually show how much it affects powers. What does 146% faster mean on a 5 second power. Maybe we could press a button and it would show how that weapon loadout would affect recharge speed...just a thought.

Now that we have confirmation that random packs aren't going anywhere , here's my suggestion which should make for an easy FIX:

just adjust the probabilities so that veteran packs are more likely to give you a new weapon or a new race! :)

That's it! Buying recruit packs doesn't seem as frustrating to me since i know that i will get either a weapon or attachment upgrade for my 5000 creds. But spending 20000creds and getting only low level stuff i.e. no new weapons or races - that is incredibly frustrating.
Ditto.

A problem that has come up for me, rarely, in the last couple of days is game freezing (kinda) during connection to a new game. On the top left, it says "Communicating..." and on the bottom right "Loading." It just stays there for a long time. I have to close the game from desktop and restart.

There should be a timeout feature built into the joining process, no more than 10 seconds I'd say, before connection is stopped and I can search for a new game.

one REALLY game breaking issue for me.

Occasionally, after reviving myself with medi-gel, I seem to be stuck in the air and every time I run the screen shakes. It is extremely annoying since once it glitches it is impossible to continue playing, so I am forced to quit losing all the points.

i must admit that was very annoing. some mid game saving of rewards would be welcome

It seems like people new to ME enjoy the MP more than the old timers, generally.

I'd say this is what EA wanted.

Really fun demo. I got one of my non-Mass Effect-playing friends into the series, and I intend to get more friends to try out the demo and get them hooked.

However, I do have some beefs with the MP that I hope won't be present in the full game. Beefs that, if left out in the open, will rot and get infested with maggots.

1) No text chat. I'm aware that there's a "Text Chat" key binding, so this probably won't be an issue once the game releases. I still want to express my concern, just in case. This could be a game-breaking un-feature if not implemented.

2) Character unlocks. Started the demo wanting to play as a Krogan, but couldn't. 3 days, 20ish veteran packs, and 30ish recruit packs later, still no Krogan. Barely any characters at all, actually. See what I'm getting at here?

3) No Steam implementation. I understand EA's trying to push their Steam Jr. as hard as they can, but Valve's got nearly a decade worth of maintenance, upgrades, and features for Steam. Origin seems kind of superfluous, if not a straight downgrade, by comparison, and the only reason it's getting used is because games like BF3 and and ME3 require it. So I'll use it simply because I have to. But I'm still going to talk to my friends through Steam. In protest.

But yeah, that's the jist of it. Good game, iffy features that need fixing.

More MP modes would be welcome IMO, but I guess it's not going to happen since it's co-op only.

The good:
-I liked the overall gameplay, controls responded well and it didn't take long to get used to
-classes and loadouts. This was done well IMHO, choose you class and weapon loadouts instead of being stuck with set loadouts as per class, seems more customizable to me
-Character customisation, sees basic at first but when you start unlocking patterns, secondary colour, pattern colours and lights, I can see some real thought going into your character's look.

The Bad
-The Store, a choice of two packages containing random items? Come on I want to buy individial items not a box with random generated stuff that give me the same old crap over and over again.
-The 'Matchaking', this can take ages. It's better than Gotham City Imposters, but having high level hosts kicking low level players out of a lobby is just plain wrong.
-Species unlocking, why? Why make everything unlockable? Weapons, armour and equipment maybe, but why make players work to create the MP character they want to create?

I enjoyed it, could be better though.

Negatives:

9) Weapons screen is confusing and you can't get out of a weapon unless you select it off (0/1). You should be able to just back out of it, resetting it back to zero on it's own. Also, why limit it to only 2 guns? I dont like that either.

1) Yeah the lobby system needs some work

2) That's actually surprising, if youre playing bronze. If you go for silver on a low level don't be surprised if people kick you, its very frustrating carrying a team of newbies on your back who shouldn't be going for hard yet, not even because they suck, but just because their level is too low, their characters physically will struggle due to lack of powers/weapons etc. You don't go attacking someone who is a much higher level than you in an rpg, this is an rpg.

3) I don't see anything wrong with this, it makes it better than most modern games, and the fact that they get used up means you have to use some logic as to when to use them, don't waste them on bronze rounds, save them if you know you're going up for a silver with a small team/gold.

4) I have only seen a character "float" around once, when someone had tragic connection, other than that movement for everyone I play with is always smooth and fine, I don't have any problems with it.

5) again no problem here, must be something wrong at your end, as no one I played with has complained about this.

6) It takes practice to move around, once you get used to it you're thankful space is the only key to move around, although use should still be seperated, space being the movement key means that with some skill and timing you can manage cover perfectly well. I don't struggle with cover jumping.

7) Well to be plain, you're doing it wrong, you're not supposed to stay in the extraction area for the 2 minutes, otherwise they send so many enemies and atlases at you that you WILL get overrun and the rockets will tear you up, you're meant to hold the enemy off for a minute and a half then fall back, you won't have much problem if you follow that tactic.

8) you must be looking directly at the wounded person to revive them again, I don't have probelms reviving and neither do any of my friends.

9) Weapon screen confusing? What is this, I don't even? Its blatantly simple!

By this point I'm seriously thinking that was a troll comment, if it was, well played, if not then stop whining because you suck, and go back to CoD.

First off, I'd like to say that I was one of those who was a bit concerned about the inclusion of multiplayer, and I'm glad to say that I was wrong to be concerned. This is a very well put together co-op mode that I think will do a lot to add to the story experience of the single player game!

For some constructive criticism though, as others have mentioned the randomness of the packs is a bit concerning. I recently bought a veteran and two recruit packs and the only character I got in any of them was the female human sentinel experience and color upgrades. Perhaps in the full game or a future patch, include a "character pack" or something that can unclock the color upgrades and a new character so it won't be so tedious to unlock something we may want to try out.

Also, if the support for multiplayer ever ends or there is a growing lack of interest in the multiplayer component (not that I want that, just the opposite in fact), perhaps either patch in a "bots for multiplayer" or lower the difficulties of the sessions so that one player can handle at least a full bronze mission solo.

Other than that, I want to tell the Mass Effect multiplayer dev team, job well done!
