If you find it to hard, then here some advice:
Stay together as a team
Defending is always easier than attacking, let the enemies come.

I totaly agree that needs to be fixed if it's fun, which it is I will still play like metal geal online, and I usualy don't like voice chat but ME fans are sophisticated enough that I want it.Neow wrote...
The way to unlock races is too tedious. we already have a lot of unlucky players that buy over 10 veteran packs and didn't get to unlock any race.
I hope it's either unlocked by default or automatically by leveling up.

Make the store like it was in ME1, where the player buy individual items instead of having a box with random items.
Make the Vanguard more of a melee combatant. You should add heavy melee weapons, similar to Warhammer 40k Space Marine, dedicated to only the vanguard and soldier (to an extent)

Random distribution work in card games because you can trade with other people for what you are missing. You can't do that here. When you get to the full game and are missing only a few characters or weapons I imagine it will be particularly annoying.
Perhaps if you could buy specific items as well as the packs? You could either buy a pack and get a bunch of random items or purchase a single specific item for the same price. That way you would start by buying packs to fill out your arsenal and could then purchase specific items that you particularly want. This would satisfy both sides of the argument. I don't know about cost, maybe 5,000 for a common, 20,000 for an uncommon, and 40,000 for a rare?

o and on a sidenote: krogan soldier is everything i hoped it would be. i've got mine armed with the claymore shotgun and nothing else but its hard head to simply smash the enemies to a pulp! i have been playing it to death and i still get a huge kick out of every enemy i send flying with a seriously heavy charge. both the standard (tap) melee and the heavy melee (hold button) are as strong as you'd expect them to be from a krogan with a head made out of concrete (so to speak) and i loved that it (to me) seems to be the heaviest melee in the mp (charge is kill on impact on shieldless foes in both bronze and silver difficulties but i havent tried gold yet) the krogan (and all other characters) seems to be perfectly balanced to what one would expect from its race. its slow, heavy and bulky and is an unstopable force in close combat.
enough about the characters. i did encounter a few bugs (this is the pc version btw) when you switch character in a mp match sometimes all the quickbar abilities disapear and there seems to be no way to get them back other then restarting the game. also theres a small bugg as when you are in cover and melee then go out of cover the melee doesnt change to normal again so you end up giving the enemy a riflebutslap instead of the mighty headbut.
other then that the game is very enjoyable and i cant wait for the release to get some more maps and enemies.

One thing I would change - characters should be avalible in game separately. I would like to choose races and play those I like most. Make the characters avalible separately and not random.

What about adding the characters at the end when you saved a specific species? This would maybe encourage more players to do SP.

While I will give Bioware some points for actually doing a decent job with the MP demo, compared to the SP that was clearly tossed out to the masses without the care the MP demo received. That difference in quality is telling as to what Bioware and EA are pushing. Seriously though, I felt like I was playing a simplistic version of Horde in a more futuristic time. Apparently Bioware staff were playing a lot of Gears of War while developing ME3. If only they would have followed Epic's example and not had every function of the game be coded to a single button. I was always afraid to see Gears of Effect 3 and these demos have really proven those fears to be valid.

Then today, I started a match, but all of the icons on my HUD (medi-gel, missles, powers, grenades, etc.) were replaced with a strange logo that looked like a shockwave (not to say that it looked like the symbol for the shockwave power, it was just three consecutive ripples).

I just think the Phantom needs a nerf. Lose my entire shield in one shot from the Phantoms BS biotic shooting? Not cool. Surely the fact that the Phantom is fast, has a powerful sword and can cloak, should be it's strengths? Giving it a ranged weapon too just offsets the balance. Personally, I think removing her biotic shot is the way to go.
Get someone with an ability to take down shields, like sheild drain, to deal with it. Sheild drain takes off its shields and stuns it making it very easy to kill.

It's exciting to see a new weapon I haven't seen before. (Looking at you, Graal Spike Thrower) And makes it worth it to continue honing my skills in order to save points. I love entering a lobby and seeing a level 20-something Krogan soldier or Asari Adept and going "man. I'm jealous."
It gives me something to strive towards. And when I did get my quarian Engi and my Salarian Infiltrator, I cherished them. I hope Bioware takes into account the percentage of Players that feel as I do, Not just listening to the endless complaints of casuals who don't unlock every cool thing in the first 20 packs
I posted this in a standalone thread, but I'm reposting here, to voice my opinion directly.

Buff:
Revenant - Far too weak, practically no mid-range game, horrendous weight and horribly inaccurate. The revenant's selling point seems to be its large thermal clip capacity, but ammo is a non-issue in MP since each map has at least 4 supply crates, effectively making the Revenant, well, kinda useless.
Viper - Awkward RoF and low-damage for a sniper rifle. When a pistol out DPS's a sniper rifle and is more accurate, something is very wrong.
Nerf:
Carnifax - Very, very high damage, uncanny accuracy, low weight. The Carinfax, a mere sidearm, is second to only the widow in terms of damage and mid-long range combat. With a scope it can fire faster than the Mantis and Viper with no draw back in accuracy and pack a larger punch in most cases. Definitely an overpowered weapon in my opinion.

I don't have a problem with the Equipment Packs. You guys realize MMO's use a similar system with PVP Gear Bags? And it works and is fine and no one complains about it? Because while you may not get what you want, you're getting something, and the good "loot" you have a chance at getting.
If you don't get good loot, then you have to go back, play some more to earn more credits, and buy another one. Whats so wrong with that? Are you guys really upset that you're getting more replay value out of the game? I like the system, it gives me something to work for if I don't get what I want right away. Besides I've been playing MP since yesterday and you do receive some great unlocks. I already have the Phalanx pistol, the Viper sniper rifle, the Katana shotgun, a level 3 Vindicator assault rifle, two mods for the Assault Rifle, two mods for the pistol, two mods for the Sniper, etc. And while I started yesterday, my total play hours are probably around...5 maybe. It doesn't take too long before you start raking in some good stuff from the Equipment Packs. Besides the Supplies you get are useful.
You will get good loot. Just be patient and work for it.
To make this short and sweet, and simple, to most people the Dissapointment of not getting what you want after spending your hard earned space cash, Outweighs the benifit of getting the exactly what you payed for (or something better) by chance/luck of the draw....this rings espically true here in north america.... can you imagine going to a McDonalds and having a choice of a kid's combo or a Large combo...and what ever burger, drink, and side dish came in it you just accepted:sick:....there was no say in what items you actually wanted to spend your money on....that is why people don't like this system....however after saying all of this I don't think this is gonna change unless there is a MASSIVE stink raised about it:? (for an misspellings I apologize my spell check isn't working here....and I rely on that program heavily)

Same problems I had before in my previous post. And, I still absolutely hate the Equipment Pack garbage. Honestly, if it is left in the game as it is, I wont be playing the MP when I buy the game. utterly ruins it.
When I spend my time playing and saving up credits, when I buy something with them that means I earned them. Not for them part of "prize" box that I have NO idea what I am getting. This is one of the worst ideas I have ever seen in a video game. I am not interested in spending my time playing a game trying to earn things, only to be forced to HOPE I get what I want, or maybe not even at all. For me, it utterly ruins the Multi-Player and I just feel like I am wasting time saving up credits and leveling up because I can't buy the things I want after all the time invested.
It's like going to the grocery store and wanting to buy things after you worked hard all week. But, all the boxes don't say what is inside, just "prize inside". So, you buy them and get what you get. I wouldnt be shopping there then, ever. This is not the kind of thing that belongs in a game.

The Phantoms are a ****. The stickiness of cover tends to be particularly a problem, at least for me, in the multiplayer. In the heat of the moment it is way too easy to get glued to cover and have trouble getting off it.
Finally, Krogans. If possible try to play with at least on Krogan in the mix. They do fantastic melee damage and can take care of many things (except the damn Phantoms).

My only guess as to why so many people love the MP is because they haven't been playing Gears of War 3's Horde. Because that is what ME3's multiplayer is. I played a few games which didn't last long yesterday, mainly because people kept dropping out (just like GoW3) and I couldn't help but think I have been playing this for the last couple months. I have a hard time believing that ME3 Horde is going to do any better than GoW3 Horde. It will get old faster than people would like to believe at the moment.

How different can a multiplayer combat game be from game to game? You can mix up the terrain but beyond that there isn't much else to mess with. You can get huge arenas as with Crysis multiplayer or tight and rabbit-warren-like as with ME3 MP. Thinking on that, I wouldn't mind some variation in the areas so that they all aren't fairly tight and complicated buildings.

Alternatively, perhaps with the grabbag thing it could be arranged so players could trade items back and forth. I don't need multiple pistols or submachine guns. I would gladly trade a tempest or other for some mods for my Mattock assault rifle. I've been buying veteran pack after veteran pack in hopes I'd get SOMETHING to mod/upgrade/improve my rifle. All I get are shotgun parts.
