He did suggest a fix. Did you read his post?

Battlefield 2 and 3 award you XP and cash in game, not at the end. in fact, you level up while playing the game, and see it as an announcement. The design of Battlefield makes it so these level ups are essential to the dynamics of the game, so you don't necessarily want to have that in ME3's multiplayer, but allowing the player to keep their hard-earned XP and money would be a very good step, especially considering there's nothing the player can do once they've earned it to un-earn it.

I did suggest a fix you mindless Geth, read the posts rather than blurt out thoughtless opposition to helpful criticism.

Every now and then I experience serious, serious, inexcusable lag, for an entire match. I will reload, only to find that after my animation is complete my character did not, in fact, reload at all. I will use my Push only to find it didn't actually fire, or if it did, it didn't hit anyone. I will be shooting point blank at enemies and then they will teleport across the map at full health, or I will rubberband back to an area where I was before.

I imagine the culprit is the fact that users are hosting games over dedicated severs. What was the design reason for this? You realize what an absolute mess this is going to be for people playing with friends from across the globe or even across the United States, on both PC and console versions?

I can not choose the weapons what I want to upgrade. For example, I want a better assault rifle, the store provides me a shot gun. I feel I waste my time for getting what I do not want.

I lost my connection at one point and now I've gotten 3 Silver games in a row where Wave 6 is "Kill the enemy VIPs," who are all Engineers. Not sure why, but that's something to keep an eye on.

I love it. All of it. It's been the most fun I've had online in a rather long time. I think...regardless of some few against...that the random drawing of reward crates is great. It's like buying playing cards by the pack. You never know what you'll get and you have to plan your strategies around that random build. It's brillant to keep the playing field fun for rookies and pros. No more will the shooter elites build their master kit right from the word go...collecting and patience rewards you. I love it.

I keep getting the same default characters that I have all the customization options for and I have leveled up all the way in the veteran packs. It gets really frustrating when I buy these packs expecting a new gun or race to play and all I get is a character that I've already gotten everything for. Please fix this, it's really annoying.

Anyone else having Omni-Blades issues...as in it won't deploy when you're ready to finish off an enemy?

All I've gotten since the maintenance period is a buttstroke for a melee, and up until the system went offline for maintenance, I used my omni-blade to finish off virtually everyone with anything under half life to conserve ammo. I had a lot of OB kills, so I know full well how far I used to have to stand from an enemy, and at what angle, to execute him.

Now, if I stand about 10 feet away from a Cerberus a-hole and deploy it, sure it'll come out...as I happily slash through air and take a butt kicking for it. But WTF? Tell me it's a glitch and not a tweak. If it's the latter, it's a bad one.

+1, several times over. I've still managed to make it to 120 and beat gold, but geez, there's been keyboard-hurled-out-window moments along the way.

Guessing, but I'd assume they'd be using the demo traffic to finetune the mp (we're the beta crew I guess) so hopefully they'll have enough info on server loads to do an accurate projection of the hardware needed. But it is potentially gamebreakign, and this is the MOST fun I've ever had playing mp.

Btw vahnfox - you use that name in the demo? Think I may have played alongside you once.

The way I see it, I could easily spend as much if not eventually more time playing MP than SP, so I really wish that there were at bare minimum small facial features that I could change on my MP charaters, other than just skin tone. Maybe not total facial overhaul like you can do in SP, but eye colour, scars, face paint/markings for Asari and Turians, freckles and impurities for the Salarians and Krogans, different colour masks for Quarians, stuff like that. And also, better colours for the armor lights.

Definitely hope this is more of a stress test of an incomplete product than it is early access to the final features. I'm having a blast, but there are too many gamebreakers for me to want to dedicate time to the MP once the game launches.

As an example, I spent two hours last night trying to figure out how to join a Quick Match with a friend of mine (you basically need to throw someone out or wait for them to quit), since at first if we joined a private game and then made it public, no-one else would join, and afterwards when I figured out how to fix this when I was hosting, he was experiencing impossible game-breaking lag.

And yeah, I do use that name! :D Well, hey! I do hope I didn't play particularly lousy XD

all has been said before but the lobby is the most frustrated thing.

Its like it only puts 4 people in a lobby if you select "quick match"

if one person leaves it takes FOREVER if at all to get that person replaced.

The worst part is if you are trying to play with a friend.  The only way my Brother and I could join a full match was for each of us to keep selecting quick match, and hope we got into one that wasn't full then send a game invite to the other.

If anyone left after a match then so long playing with 4 people and its instant death.

I also agree that a countdown timer would be great.  Its find if you want to tweak your character but leave the lobby for that, otherwise if it is just a change of weapon load out or equipment 30 seconds between matches should be more than enough.

This is one of the best made/laid out MP game's (besides a full blown MMO) that I have been a part of, This ME3 MP is just Addictive to an Insane degree its hard to put it down, and adding an RPG element makes it even better!.

Still loving the demo, but I think the one change that is absolutely necessary is the matchmaking so I can join a lobby with a friend or two and find an extra person. This multiplayer is super addicting.

I could not agree with you more on that issue, I have ran into a MP game with all but 1 skill missing and you can't re-assign them, which is game breaking to say the least.

The quickbar has been the most frustrating part of the multiplayer for me as well.

 I did, But I had to dig through the scathing criticism to find it. There's a difference afterall between criticism and abusive criticism.

I love the drellguard i kinda see it as a vanguard that takes more skill and is more rewarding but god damn gold with it is reall tuff..im not the best player in the world but ive always played as a vanguard in all ME games..and i like the fact you gotta play more careful with the drell vanguard but i fink it needs something a barrier boost more damage resistance while rolling something to make it useable on gold..

The thing I dislike about the demo, and it has been mentioned before, is that we don't get our stuff in the game but at the end. I just played a game, made to wave 10 only to get the message: "Your connection has been lost" and lost all my stuff..which is quite frustrating. Other then that I really enjoy the demo

I liked just about everything in MP. It has speed, requires team work, has very clever way of adjusting XP gained for both kills and assists thus everyone gets what they deserve, for once I will not have to be yelling, "it's a team game there is no such thing as a kill steal, go play chess then.. "
Fair enough, I played for a long time and bought about 70 odd veteran packs before I unlocked an Asari, whom I instantly fell in love with and it will be a pain trying to get it all over again with my terrible luck. I do not have a problem getting random unlocks at all, however, I would probably add an additional unlock, like masters, worth say 5 veteran packs which guarantees one rare unlock + more goodies say 5 health packs instead of 3 to offset the higher price, it may still take time to get the one you want but at least you have an option.

Game is surprisingly smooth with virtually no lag except on occasion when the host dropped after a short while. It has interesting and well trained enemies. Turrets are annoying but represent a well thought out plan to get players to pay more attention to the type of enemies on the field and understand the priorities as to whom to eliminate first by being a greater threat.

Once we got bogged down by 3 turrets so well places we could not move and died one after the other as there was no way of attacking any of the turrets without at least 2 others shooting you down fast. Exhilaratingly wonderful!

I do have one tiny complaint, 6th won't come soon enough, for both MP and SP play

edit: as for the quick bar, heh, with enough buttons on my mouse to cover all necessary ones, I had little to no trouble with using any of my skills or boosts, it just takes a while to remember which button has which skill assigned given the varied differences between classes.

Honestly bioware...colour me surprised, i hated the idea of multiplayer right from the start simply because i didnt believe it needed to exist in a story focused rpg and i was well on the mp hate bandwagon from day one. But honestly i thought it was very fun based on a level 18 infiltrator, a class i had never played before but in single player i found myself using snipers 85% of the time so i wanted to try it. Its fast paced and hella fun and im glad its not a unnecessary addon.

I do think you level up too fast though. and the invite mechanic needs some work (but then that always has seemed ****ty on origin, especially on bf3)

One thing I would like to see is if you took a page from Valve's book and included an Idle/A.I. option for players who need to pause or take a quick break from the game.

Oh, and the buying system sucks. Just throwing that out there. I should be able to buy specific characters/weapons I want, not leave it to chance. <_<
