I have to admit when I heard that ME3 would have multiplayers I was upset. So many great single player games have been utterly destroyed by the addition of a multiplayer feature.
I admit I am having a lot of fun with MP, and hopefully there are enough maps and new enemies to keep it exciting.
However, I sincerely hope that the SP game hasn't suffered for this addition. That would only go to prove my point that adding MP to a SP story driven game is the final death knell. Lets hope Bioware proves me wrong here.

I love it. I can play 20min of ME fun if I don't have time to get back into the SP campaign. Here are my suggestions:

-Credit for Revives

-Turrets not deployable if Engineer is killed mid-deployment

-Hack credit for staying in designated area for the longest time.

-Credit for Target Elimination (per target:Bronze 2, Silver 3, Gold 4)

-Ability to take over an Atlas.  This can be overpowering but you can make a takeover only avalable when shields are depleted. Even then enemies should then consider you a primary threat and concentrate on you. Takeover would also be something like a hack which requires you to get close and stay on your feet for a set time as well as being behind the Atlas.
-Death scene for squad members who did not make the extraction point on time.

-Add an Escort Mission. Bringing an important personal from point A to the Landing Pad while being under attack.

Have you played on Gold? It's not a walk in the park even with Stasis. I've seen Phantoms dodge 5 of them in a row.

That and you get 2 shoted as soon as you poke your asari head out, I love the class, but it's honestly not anywhere as op as people make it out to be. Your shields drop as you dodge, you loose all your shields when you heavy melee... I will agree that it's a must have support class on gold, but you won't be dominating the score board there, you just don't have the survival/healing abilities other classes have (cloak, krogan life, biotic charge to restore life etc)

On the side note, loving the multiplayer demo, but there are a few bugs (posted those in the 360 tech support bug section).

Ok, my simple feedback:

Everything about the combat and class progression is much, much improved and a lot of fun, number one. I love the level design (or the maps, however you like), I love the smarter AI, the high variation of enemy types and the general feel of coordination. I love the level and unlock progression. I love the weapon mods, though I'd like a little more bang for your buck with them, slightly sharper bonuses, perhaps. I love the difficulty curve this time.

The only minor issues.and requests I have are these:

The viper sniper needs to fire much faster or the weight penalty for snipers needs to be just slightly reduced. It's fine now, but it kind of leaves my cloak cooldown speed dependent infiltrator sniper stuck with the viper, which is just not fast enough compared to other snipers to justify the massive power differential. It also leaves my sniper adepts stuck with a half power rifle for the same cooldown reason. They're very fun as is, but they do feel underbalanced with that particularly heavy penalty. The same goes for the sleeker, formerly laser sighted pistol (can't think of the name right now). In general, the starting weapons could stand to be a little bit stronger compared to the unlockables.

I'd still like more character customization, armor mods rather than only pallette swaps, maybe the option for half-face type helmets using the presets as the heads underneath.

That's it. Great job all around. :-)

edit: OH! One more thing. It's nearly impossible to solo, so maybe later on give us a more soloable or single partner friendly difficulty level with reduced bonuses, for those times when a good game and a good buddy just can't be found, which does happen even now. If there are five people playing and you're the fifth one on, that's no fun. Without the option for bots, it can basically wall you out of the game at times. When people aren't playing it as much, this will pretty much decide if ME3 multi is still being played for a longer period of time, as well.

edit 2: And I Image IPB that deathscenes for squadmembers at extraction idea. ;)

For the most part I'm enjoying the multiplayer. My only issue is why are the base characters that are unlocked already, part of the unlock system. I've gotten a bunch of character unlocks, but they've all been for character classes that are already unlocked at the start like the human male soldier or human female sentinel. I personally think that if they are already unlocked they shouldn't be part of the unlock random draw system.

Getting each race/class card in your pack unlocks more appearance customization options if you've already got access to that character.

you're right gold is no walk in the park. if you play on bronze enemies can't take to mutch damage, they go down pretty fast so soldiers, engineers, vanguards and the others can bring them down pretty quickly. but in gold and silver things are different. enemies can take alot of damage and this is the time where you can see how over powered an asari adept is. stasis warp a few well placed shots and even a phantom goes down pretty fast, centurions and guardians the same way. no other class can do that. they can save their blue asses just freezing an enemy who's getting too close.
with other words compared to an asari adept the other classes are useless. especially on higher difficulties.
three asari adepts have a much better chance of whinning a mission on gold than an engineer, vanguard, soldier and an infiltrator together. and that is what needs to be changed. it can't be that a team of specialists prepared for every combat situation stands no chance against a team which is just using raw biotics...

I'm a level 20 human soldier and I've played silver and gold levels a few times with almost only human soldiers in the 19/20 level range.  Virtually impossible to pull it off.  At silver and gold level I like to see Krogans, Drell, Asari, and human Adepts mixed in because they cover well for the weaknesses of soldier.  I have concussive shot maxed out and it helps, a lot, but even with 3 high level soldiers pounding enemies with repeated concussive shots, the team doesn't last long.

I LOVE to have fairly high level Krogan around because they are excellent at taking down almost everyone in melee.  The one thing in particular that screams for mixed teams is the Phantom.  I hate those things and as a soldier I just don't do much against them.

Another note:  someone earlier in thread mentioned their desire to be able to select teammates of similar level instead of having level 1s or 10s or whatever coming in as if they are just not good enough.  That is unfair and bogus.  The level one has MIGHT indicate that they are not particularly good, or it may simply mean that they have only recently started playing multiplayer.  I have been in matches with level 6 Adepts or Vanguards and they were clearly good in spite of the low ranking level (in comparison to my 20 for instance).  It was obvious that those players were going to climb the level ladder rather quickly and I was glad to have them on the team during those matches.  One's level should not be an automatic means for excluding members from a team.  They might just be the one who revives YOU when you get taken down in a heavy fight.

It's merely a crapshoot.  I am a human male soldier and I've acquired 1 additional human male soldier (useless to me), 1 Krogan, and just recently 1 Drell.

My question: I'm a level 20 soldier.  If I fire up the Krogan or Drell, am I stuck starting at level 1 with them or does my level 20 transfer to all my characters?

Don't we get credit for revives?  I certainly get the medal for revives.  Besides needing to revive people for karma purposes (I need reviving too!) I NEED the teammates there to help me out.  I cannot carry a silver, let alone gold, level without all the help I can get.  Doesn't reviving teammates generate xp or is it just a medal?

There will clearly be more maps (there is only two available in demo so far...).  Even so, I have yet to get tired of them as it is.  As for SP suffering because of MP...I doubt it.  The MP game is simple enough that it shouldn't have required all that much work beyond the SP.

Ah...good.  Spending per race from scratch is fine.  Lots of differences to make use of.  Thx for the info.

The one thing that would probably help with the Unlock system is, making it to where you max a char, you can no longer get the Exp bouns from packs, just like if you max a mod or weapon it stops showing up. It would somewhat decrease the randomness of it all.

my only real complaint or constructive criticism is the lobby system. i'm hoping this is just the demo lobby system and not the real deal.

reason being i should be able to join up with my friends, and then search for other people. the idea of randoms joining my created game reminds me of LAN parties. partying up before hand with your friends and then searching for a match and other players doesn't seem too much to ask.

this is my only complaint and let me say that the Co-Op has been done beautifully. great job but please...do something about the lobby and invite system.

some races you want to start from scratch due asaris  adepst are different then say playing level 20 human adepts if you havent played on at the lower levels you really get  creamed if you dont know how to play them

I love it, Im addicted :)
Adding MP may very well have negative implications on the SP quality, but I don't care any more. Even if the SP was the worst of it's kind – which I doubt - I’d buy the game for its intense multiplayer experience. Just can't wait for release day.

Of course there are a few things that bug me and a few suggestions:

Every character per class should level up individually, scrap the leaderboards and/or extend N7 rating to 6x5x20=600.

Give humans faces, give aliens helmets and let us choose if we want them on or off.

I expected more from Skin Tone appearance unlocks. Green necked Krogan anyone?

Going to battle without a gun should yield more cooldown bonus. Currently there is no incentive
to go commando. Let's say 250%?

It would be nice to see who's playing on the ingame hud and I’d like to have an indication for who is talking at the moment, just a speaker symbol or something like that. Also it would not hurt to show the current wave number and maybe how many enemies are left on the ingame hud as well.

Sometimes when covered and looking away from the wall/crate I'm sticking to, I'm unable to zoom in, move out of cover, use powers, or shoot - but the worst is, if I press forward + use/cover/storm I hop over the crate backwards from my point of view... directly into the arms of the enemy I took cover from.

Scoping in when covered in rapid succession often glitches, centering the camera a few meters behind your character, instead of giving me a crosshair.

Scoping in while a squadmate stands directly behind you will show the squadmates back instead of a crosshair, please fix the camera angle.

Going to cover right next to a squadmate, or between two fence elements is impossible at times. The animation starts just to stop tenths of a second later, leaving you in open fire unexpected. Got me downed on extraction countless times.

Going to cover, getting out of cover and sprinting interrupts reloading. That’s a pain, please change.

Aiming rockets or powers (especially warp) from cover is clunky. If the enemy is in direct line of sight you should be able to hit him. At least 1 of 3 rockets go to waste, even if not under cover.

Grab doesn't respond very well, especially if there are latencies from the host. Widening the area you're able to grab an enemy just a tiny little bit could be a big improvement.

Random unlocks are great, they do remind me a lot of ME1 crates, but I’d rather go with some ammo or armor equipment than the 100th Human Soldier Upgrade (or similar). If a character is at level 20 and got all appearance unlocks, those should not show up any more.

Not being able to redistribute powers in the command hud is annoying - coupled with a glitch that removes powers from their quickslots when you change your character it's TEH HORROR!

Carnage, Inferno Grenade, Mattock and Viper seem underpowered, Sentry Turrets (Squib is what I call them) could take a little more damage, given they are supposed to be more than some sort of a warning bell.

The voice over quality is terrible, the lack of an ingame text chat is worse.

No public players on custom games? Bleh.

I want to be able to communicate with people who aren't on my Origin :pinched: buddy list – ingame.

Finding, adding and joining a buddy should be doable ingame, also I’d like to know the game settings and if there is room on the server before I hit Join.

When joining a running game I still want to be able to set up my gear - wasting Cyclonic Modulators and stuff on a Bronze game = :crying:.

There should be a Cancel button on loading screens, you should not need to alt+F4 out of an app that didn't even crash.

Add separate Key Bindings for Use, Cover and Storm but retain the possibility to use the same button for all of them.

Not so much of a problem in MP but the armor/weapon textures are (still) horrible. I understand that there are VRAM limitations on consoles, but please give us a HD texture pack for PC... and don't get me started on the
running animations for Shep and Anderson...

I sure hope one of those invisible characters is a playable Geth Infiltrator/Engineer - otherwise I’ll have to get me a large fish and go krogan at biowares offices :D

More to come eventually ;)

First, let me say that I don't play multiplayer games, but I adore the ME3 mulitplayer. I'm not sure whether I'm going to pay for an XBOX Live gold account or buy ME3 for my PC, but one of these things is going to happen.

My biggest complaint is that I want to be able to remap my powers on the XBOX.

It's a lot better than what I was expecting. I think for the retail release however, the levels should need a lot more experience before leveling up. I hadn't even played the demo for very long and my vanguard was already almost 15. So i just think to get more playtime out of the game come march 6, the exp needed for levels should be marginally larger. Also, idk how others feel about this, but sticking to the lore of the game, anyone playing a  Krogan race should regenerate health constantly. Even if its a very slow rate, it would still force you to play cautiously when you get low health cause you would want to not get injured and let your health regen. I also hope in the real game that when you fully level a class and have unlocked all customization options for a certain race that you will stop getting it in unlock packs. ie. if you have the soldier at max level and all customization options for the Human Soldier, you should stop getting Human Soldier customize packs. Other than that I think the game is great and so much fun to play. Good work on making an amazing series of games even better in every way.

you missed my point completely. please re-read what i said, then respond...read the whole...thing. there is a difference in how the lobby is working now and how it could work better for game search.  hate to bring it up, but the way halo does matchmaking. i get together with my friends, and then i search for other people doing the same search until it adds us all up in the game lobby. the way quick search works is not the problem i'm talking about. it's the lack of partying up and then filling the gaps with people who want to play too.
