It works only if you have medigel:) You could have max 2 per game.
Look at the hotkeys ( left up corner on PC)   - medigel is under 7 - and there is a number of medigel you have. The same to heavy weapon, ammopacks etc.

If you have medigel and hotkey 7 is not working, then I dont know. It works good for me.

Yeah, true but in an RPG you don't drop down twenty thousand credits/gold/doubloons whatever and the shopkeeper whips out a pack of random items. I think (as I posted before) that you should have the option to purchase random stuff packs and the option to buy stuff outright for a slightly higher price. Like say 10000 or 15000 credits for a new character type/race or 20000 credits for the veteran pack which could randomly include a new race/ype plus other stuff.

I have played the MP portion of the demo on 360, PS3, and PC.  The 360's connection and droprate seemed the best of the 3, while the PS3 dropped me from games far more often (1 out of 10 games as a rough guess)  The PC version looks better (of course dependant upon your hardware) and the game runs at least twice as fast as the 360 and PS3, good thing it was the last version i tried because it was certainly harder at that speed, sniping was far more difficult.  The PC and PS3 versions did seem very glitchy on my vanguard though, I fell through the world quite a few times, and occasionally started doing this crazy clipping problem where it would get into cover only to teleport ontop of said cover and then i'd get shot, that is until i fell through the world for the rest of the game.

Assuming there will be some form of chat system in the full version:
#1 XBox 360 - Least glitchy, most fun (plus personal preference for the controller over PS3's)
#2 PC - Fastest, best graphics, harder to snipe, but maybe you want that! Occassional clipping glitches
#3 PS3 - Most connection problems, most glitches.

Overall it is very enjoyable and I am looing forward to tuesday!  Also glad I preordered in early June for my XBox!

Edit: Also, I don't like how there are only 2 types of boxes for the consumables/unlocks.  They need to stop giving me the cards for fully experienced and unlocked classes.  How about something like character packs, weapon packs(combined or seperated with chance for mods) or a customization pack, consumables pack, whatever, I like random, but i dont need 57 rockets and 0 medigel!

Sometimes some of my quickkeys are not assigned even though they should be. Often it's one of my talents and all of my medigels, heavy weapon, ammo packs etc. When that happens I could have 100 medigels in stock and have both of mine available for the current game and it still won't work.

yuncas, that's a good idea. The default semi-circle crosshairs should have shape or color options to suit the player's preference and make it easier to see targets.

Nothing major to add to recent discussion, just wanted to say I am addicted to the MP!! I can't wait five more days to rebuild everyone. AAAAH!

On another note, I'm going to miss the rare golds I got.

I think that the multi player of this ruins it. I love the single player of it, but I am also the guy that hats fps/tps .... shooters in general. I hope that the mutiplayer does not affect the story. If the story had been co-op or multiplayer then all good, but pvp is wrong and dreadful... but that is my honest opinion, and has no bearing on my attitude towards those who play it or create it. My opinion was asked for and I gave it. I am sorry if this offends anyone. I am just trying to give feedback to an awesome game company in hopes they will continue to make awesome games.

It happens to everyone. I was mad at first, then I discover this - it happens when you change your character .
The cure - logout then login again and everything goes back to normal. I hope that problem occures only in the demo version.


EDIT: @ExOrigin - good point:lol: - and then Diamond super crazy insane with atalses and phantoms only:) without any ammo;):o

well cheating might be the wrong word modding would fit it better.
some people and myself have noticed that some guys modded the game somehow...i don't know how exactly.

Dear BIOWARE - I have a love / hate relationship with the demo.

Love: I love the gameplay ... the powers .. the weapons ... the races. I have always loved defense vs. waves (with an end goal so no **** zombies tyvm) so having a ME3 co-op vs waves is like a dream come true.

Hate: I hate that I desperately want to unlock the drell and the turian races and have been unable to after 25 hours. With the amount of time I plan on putting in the final product, I doubt this will be an issue for long. I suspect you guys will be selling unlock packs for real money. I hope this is not the case. If it is, I hope it's free to the CE owners ...those of us who have been with you since the beginning!

well I know you can do 2 shots instantly with a mantis/Widow as the human soldier with Adrenaline rush... (dont know if thats a bug or its supposed to instant reload your weapons when you activate it.)

as for 1 hit kills. Mantis X with the extended silencer... i mean barrel. is basically an insta kill to most enemie units in bronze and silver.  we also had a glitch once that made shields instant regen and made us invincible. other than that though I havent seen any blatent. 'cheating' so to speak.

a mantis sniper rifle that fires 10 shots without reload? i don't think so.
no weapon like a pistol can kill a phantom with jst one shot on gold especially no overload.
i dont think these are glitches.

The only issues ive seen with the multiplayer is that when knocked down, some enimies get back up in different locations and unlocking certain characters or any can be frustrating at times. Else than that the multiplayer is a great addition.

THIS. Playing again tonight confirmed my suspicion that there is some sort of snap to nearest enemy feature while zoomed in on sniper rifles, except I can't see it following any rhyme or reason. Please give an option to disable it. I can already see myself reliving the complete nightmare of having to fight husks with a character who is dependent on a sniper rifle.

Strange thing is I didn't notice anything of the sort a few days ago. Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

 Gave the multiplayer demo a good 8 hours of playtime covering Soldier, Infiltrator, and Vanguard.  I've played rounds with just friends and with pub servers.


The Good

-Movement, cover actions, melee, and sprinting are all very fluid.

-Rounds are similar, but never the same.  Replayability is very high (for me personally)

-Random loot boxes purchased from store

-Difficulty and class balance are awesome at this point.

-Overall one of the most entertaining co-ops I've played to date.

-Character naming, armor customization, and weapon selection give a real sense of ownership of characters.

-Amazing graphics


The Bad

-Usually get completely disconnected from EA server about twice a night.

-Nova ability for Vanguard is unusable if there's even one shielded enemy in the area.  Even with unshielded, unarmored  enemies around.  (If it's part of the game mechanics, then I'm just whining, but I thought I'd mention it.)

-Can't pick and choose race unlocks.  (Would settle for higher priced purchases for specific unlocks)

-Voice chat is laggy and cuts in and out at times.

I'm pretty sure someone posted this but my friend and I were playing the MP demo and we found a big glitch. When you play vanguard and die during the biotic charge attack, you will glitch through the map and respawn in the out of map area after the wave if you die. To other players, it looks like you are jumping like crazy or hovering above the ground. While you maybe out of the map, enemies can still hurt you.

I'm sure some (maybe all) of this was mentioned, but since this is an impressions/suggestions thread, here are mine.

The whole unlock mechanism is just wrong, there are many good suggestions so I don't need to add anything more to it, just stressing its importance.

Due to the difference between the leveling/power system in MultiPlayer vs SinglePlayer, a respec system similar to the one in single player should be allowed, even if through the store.

I don't see any reason for giving names to characters. If I can have only one from each class+race+gender combination, then using those as identification is sufficiently unique, considering that I'm the only one who'll ever see them anyway. So please just get rid of the names, I might as well just call my Human Male Sentinel "Human Male Sentinel".

The confirmation for the unlock packages is unnecessary after the first time. Its just virtual credits for virtual items and considering how often I spend them in the store, it'd be simpler if I can just spam the purchase button.

Its probably just me, but your randomizer feels very odd. I've bought dozens of veteran packs, got lots of rockets, shield and ammo charges but so far I've received only 3 pieces of medigel.

I've got at least 20 human female vanguard - it is annoying bcs my human female vanguars is already 20 lev, and full developed... it is like a I'm unloking all the same characters, and all I already have. It is frustrating.

If it must be random, exclude the one already in stock, please. I'm waiting for new one and get nothing that I already have - means - I got nothing.

For sake of the players - PRETTY PLEASE CHANGE SOMETHING WITH RANDOMIZATION.
Even if it will be future patch to the game - I don't mind. I'll wait for the patch.
