1. Pre-Lobby Matchmaking:
As host, why can't I set private slots, or have the ability to kick players... or even join other games with my party? At times, I've spent up to an hour trying to get into a game with my XBL party. Either we create a game and for some reason, the match making system prevents other people from joing (yes these games are tagged as public). Or, we create a game, and the room is filled before we can even invite each other with no way to have private slots from party members, or an way to kick someone to free up a party slot. In addition, theres no way to join a game as a party. This issue should be fixed as basically every other multiplayer game has something to this extent.
2. Customization:
Bioware games are about customization, and the multiplayer customization is pretty basic. Why can't we edit our character's face, or armor outside of color schemes? I'm not speaking of power customization, as I like the racially based power setup, but I think we should at least be able to make our characters unique. It's just a little weird that in single player you can fully customize Shepard, but multiplayer limits you to such basic customization options.
3. Unlocks:
Positives and negatives here. I like unlocking weapon mods with the vet/recruit packs. I don't even necessarily mind unlocking weapon upgrades with the pack system. I even wouldn't mind unlocking armor/racial customization options via packs. But I agree with many of the poeple here stating that unlocking races via random chest system rolls is tedious. What happens when you play for a month and haven't unlocked that Korgan Soldier you've wanted to play since day one? For a lot of people that will be a turn off, not a motivation factor to continue playing.
4. Character Respecs:
There should be some way to respec your character. Whether it be through purchasing it with credits, resetting your character to level one, or the creation of a new character, being locked into a specific build can be frustrating. When you get to level 15 to realize that you really don't like a specific character build, but are locked into that specialization, it's simply annoying.
5. A Button (360)/X Button (PS3):
Using this to do EVERY interaction isn't the greatest idea. I don't know how many times teammates or myself have gone to pick up a teammate and somehow to a cover-attach move rather than reviving, or a combat roll. There has to be a better method to revival in high intensity situations.
Overall this is a great game, however I feel like the multiplayer demo was released so we as a community could give feedback tweaks before launch date. Here are mine.

It's probably too late to suggest such a thing, but that's just my opinion. It would be very nice in helping distinguish Krogan if you could recolor the plates/crest on their head.

- your aim and screen shakes when a teammate uses shockwave near you, making it really hard to shoot, or even get headshots.
- enemies dont take damage when i shoot them from certain angles while taking cover.
- Sometimes rockets dont come out while shooting but still uses ammo.
also, ive tried the drell in the ranged stealthy way( taking cover use pistol, pull, biotic charge, shotgun, dive away). the drells speed, and agility, doesnt compensate for the low shields, they definitely need a shield boost (basically one shot from any enemy and the shields are gone.), or give them the BARRIER ability.
its not fair that drells need to keep running and hiding while everyone is out there fighting, especially when everyone else has better abilities and more shield.

I need to agree - one button to run and take cover/interaction is sometimes hard - I take cover when I want run, and run when I want cover, Result - the dead:))
I want to say it once more - the game is very good, fun and I like it a lot.
There are bugs but I can live with that:) They will be fixed sooner or later.
If I could change something, that will be:
1 - unlocking characters. - as I say before - at least remove already unlocked and developed ones.
2 - interaction and run button - I would like to have two separated buttons - probably not happend, but will be nice:)
3 - customized hotkeys - pressing '1' is the easy for me in the combat - I would like to have option to add ability I use most often to that button.
4 - put heavy weapon to hotkey ONLY - I often get it when I dont want it...maybe it is just me, but it will help me a lot:)
You know - it is a combat mode - you need to react quickly, you cant pause, so everything is helpfull:))

I say remove the heavy armor and the pistol (just the swords) and also make the sword attack not an instant kill.

+1 for not confirmation popup when buying gift boxes
+1 for complete rework of the matchmaking algorithm: it is actually a HELL, because we wait damn too long for people to enter lobby. Make the algorithm so older lobbies are filled first and lobbies with more people are filled first
Also, I've said earlier I don't mind being pushed into an already started game (as long as I can see levels of players on the score menu), but please ask first when you are going to push someone in a started game, and show players levels and current wave on that confirmation screen, and who is alive and dead. Why ? Because if my char is set with valuable boosters (ammos, amplificators etc) I don't want to waste it by entering a gold game with only noobs and/or 3 dead players.

All the hybrid classes have a power shared by every type of this class. But what about a glasscanon Sentinel with all three powers being for long range offense. Or a Vanguard built on DR instead of continuos selfhealing. Or a demolition based Infiltrator with something like proximity mine, sabotage and turret in one build.

Carnifex is way too overpowered, who needs a m98-widow or a m300 claymore, all you need is a carnifex, it's pretty much a widow with a faster reload and more ammo. <_<
Enemies dont take damage when i shoot them from certain angles while taking cover but still show a hit marker.
When I change characters in a lobby the quick-skills slot in-game will bug and only show the third skill, I will have to go back to the main menu and reload multiplayer to be able to see and use all teh skills, or hold shift in the middle of combat select my skill and aim it while I get shot at by turrets, atlas's, phantoms and whatnot....
Oh and nemesis AI sucks, they just run against you or run circles around you to get to cover which is 50cm away from you....
Also I've seen a lot of people complain about how difficult it is to get the unique races for classes, however some of these people haven't even played for 24 hours yet, it's completely balanced and these things are special, they aren't supposed to be gained that fast, so what my widow is only upgraded twice and my mantis is on upgrade 10, at least that makes my widow feel special, that's why it's so awesome!
Besides that, I am totally surprised by how good the multiplayer is and am totally loving it! <3
Can't wait to play it in the full game!

Adepts, especially Asari Adepts, easily counter phantoms. Warp barrier, singualiry/stasis, throw. Warp even increases the damage the phantom wil ltake from conventional arms.

A demolition based Infiltrator with proximity mine, sabotage and turret Would just be a Demolition based Engineer.
Cloak is what makes an infiltrator a infiltrator, but what i would like is if they wouldnt start you off with 1 point spent on a skill already. So if im an Infilitrator with Proximity mine, Tactical Cloak, and Sabotage i can choose just to level upproximity mine, and sabotage, and be different. I tried a turian Sentinel and didnt want tech armor, i wish i was able to just max out Warp, and overload.

I'd love to have more customizable options with the armor or more specifically at least with the helmets.
I've also had instances where the host player has dropped the match mid game, and once thrown back into the lobby the credits are forfeited. This is annoying especially since each round takes about 20 minutes to complete. I can't even count how many credits I've lost because a host backed out in the 11th wave.
The pistols are a bit over powered and from what I've experienced the SMG's need a power boost.
I've also experienced issues when firing/power usage from behind cover.
Phantoms in Silver do seem slightly over powered.
Just a few things I've noticed, other than that the demo was refreshing and I cannot wait to jump in on the 6th!

As a Huge Mass Effect Fan Since Day one back in the day of ME, i didnt had a doubt in my mind that the mulitplayer was gona be awesome. You guys did not let me down what so ever. Appreicate the great job that you guys have spent on the game and the mp game itself. I appreciate everything you have done for this game and the world of Mass Effect. I played this demo on the Xbox 360.
Pros: Love how you can have Spieces picks per class if one setup isnt working you can pick one that works for you.
Smooth over all game play hardly any lag.
Love the idea how any class setup can use any weapon in the game with the penalty to power recharge rate, pending on class you choose to go into the field with.
Cons: Like everyone else I really wasnt a fan of the random grab bag, wish i could kinda just pick n choose to unlcok what i want with the credits I want.
Not having the ability to respec, I would like to see that ability to respec. I would pay credits that i earned to respec not a big deal, just my bad for picking the way i have it set for experiencing and messing around with certain abilities.
Wish i could have the ability to see more special ammo such as Fire rounds, Cryo Rounds, Warp Round which were rare to see and nice to have, and so on. Would be nice to choose what type of rounds i could bring into the battle or even bring into squad for the mission. That would be nice.
Wish bleed out time was abit slower so squad mates could get to you in those so close situations that happen to me and other people i know.
Glitches: I notice very few glitches which is good, but here is what i have notice but i havent notice that was submited already and if already have I do applogize for already submited material.
Some time i would spawn in to a fresh game wave 1 and go through the whole thing to extraction. I was not able to move. I could run in place, dash in place couldnt move at all out of the spawn. I notice this when i was on my Asari Adept just sat there in spawn deffending myself from the onslaut of cerberus soilders yup they got worked i went the whole game wave 1-extraction not being able to move what so ever. Thank god for the Asari Adept. Also i notice that sometime some of my friends would log into the game itself and have their stuff reset. (Xbox360) to only dashboard back and log back into the game again to have their stuff back to where it suppose to be. I also notice on the 360 my other buddy at times will at random get disconnected from EA servers for no reason i dont know whats up with that just throwing it out there to see what happen.
Over all i enjoyed my well addicted time playing this Demo MP, lol got my little bro hooked on this too and he too cant wait to enjoy playing this game(his first ME game) so with that being said BioWare great Job with this Demo.

1. GET BETTER SERVERS!!!!!!!!!!! Constantly getting major connection problems with lag and rubber banding. I have cable internet, and its definitely not me router.

Things I'd like to see:
Some more balance between classes. Right now there's a very short list of "Preferable" race/class combos for Gold (& even Silver although less so) that is quite frustrating. Also certain weapon types are heavily favored & it'd be nice to actually have to *choose* between weapon classes & even specific weapons w/in classes rather than having "X pistol" be the only choice for many classes in end game.
Fix the Quickslot bug! It's frustrating if you que up as an Asari Adept & find yourself in a group of 3 other adepts that it is a major risk to change classes in the lobby. You don't know if when you finally get into a match that your quickslot bar will be there!
A respec option! This is in my mind the most crucial addition that I'd like to see. Experimenting w/specs should be encouraged! And new players should not be punished & permnanently locked into a bad spec because of a new players understanding of the game mechanics.
Finally & another extremely important point:
100% more Krogan. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR! (Ok not a serious point but theres few things more fun in multi than playing as a Krogan)

While I'm having great fun with the demo there are 2 things.
I can't get text chat to work AT ALL but maybe it's not supposed to work in the demo.
No apparent text chat in lobby is a big no no. I can't tell people what skill lvl I am or as lobby leader I can't ask what map people want to play next, we can't discuss what went bad or good in a game and so on. It NEEDS to be there.
If I missed some option or key though. -> My bad.

1. Need to be able to assign abilities to the different slots on the quickbar
2. Need to be able to respec
3. Need to be able to search for a game with your party
Other things that are more minor:
-some random glitching; drop shuttle not leaving, weapons/powers becoming invisible
-it would be awesome if the smoke screens were susceptible to the environment; ex shockwave (power) or shockwave from a grenade could be used to dissipate them

Character unlocking: i've gotten 5 new characters which are: Krogan Soldier, Krogan Soldier, Krogan Soldier, salarian something, & (you guessed it) Krogan soldier... Kinda pointless dont you think?
servers: i've played over 20 hours already and i would be hitting 40 if it wasn't because im kicked out in the middle of the game, sometimes i can't even find a group to play before im sent back to tittle screen.
the rest i can live with
