I would really like an ability to pause the game when I'm playing a private match by myself. I was on wave 7 and had one ennemy left, an Atlas, so I figured it would be a good time to change my nephew's diaper. The game decided against that and instead killed the Atlas without me having to fight it and spawned new enemies. So not only does the Atlas die if you ignore it but the game gives you no breaks at all. Not all of us can play all the waves at once as proof of having to tae care of my nephew. I would just like to have a pause ability or at least don't kill off my Atlas because I was ignoring it. The fact that it died by itself is so stupid.

EDIT: This is not a hate post for multiplayer but rather a suggestion for private matches.
