I've played Soldier and Infiltrator, and it seems that the grenades aren't hitting the target I'm selecting. They either go over them, or no where near them. And the Infiltrators are using sticky grenades so they should be hitting the target. Is this a bug, or is there a method to it I need to do?

That was happening for me when I threw grenades as a soldier, but then I started aiming towards the ground around them and it helped it hit the mark better.

Grenades aren't like powers, so they can't follow an enemy around.
With practice, you'll get the hang of it.
I was in a match with a soldier, and he kept getting 4+ kills with grenades

Even if they aren't like powers, your Shepard should follow a target, and throw it in it's direction. Especially if it's a sticky grenade.

Otherwise, you can only throw a grenade when a target is standing still.

I'm the kind of guy who is open minded but the sticky grenades specifically are almost not even worth spending points on. It takes too much work to get them to stick, if they don't stick they kind of suck and most of all why is the grenade capacity so low? My friends are all having fun with their 20 yard biotics with 1.7 sec cooldowns while I have to keep running back to the armory to get more grenades. I rather they replace it with something else. Even if it stays the same I wan't my ONE(maybe two or three with talents) to actually have a high chance to stick.

Aren't sticky grenades granades that stick to the target -if- you hit it. I don't think they're supposed to follow your target, they're supposed to stick to them if you hit so they can't run away from it.

What I mean is, if I hit the grenade command while selecting a target, Shepard should throw it at targets direction and position. Thus hitting the target, or exploding near it.

As is though, if the target moves, which they do, then I'm throwing a grenade, sticky or not, where a target "was" before throwing it.

It's not like Uncharted, where I have full control over the direction of the grenade.

So I can't use a grenade unless the target is still. But even then, sometimes the grenades go past them.

I'm disappointed they didn't implement some sort of grenade-arc indicator for Shep. Yes, yes it'd be like Gears of War, so what? They share the same engine and style of shooter anyways.

OMG, hell yes. That'd make such a difference.

Going by the SP portion of the demo, I don't plan on using very many grenedes. Too difficult to place to be effective and even more damningly you can run out and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to pick up more as opposed to powers that are far easier to get to hit their targets and u don't run out. I'd really rather use my level up points on those, thanks then sticky grenades.

There are more grenades in the SP, they are mostly in locations where there are a couple of heat sinks. Although I do agree it is a pain to look high and low to find a very finite number of grenades over and over. It would have been much better if the Alliance or someone had invented some sort of contraption that can produce infinite grenades but there was a cool down instead. Even making it so when you pick up a heat sink you get a grenade or two would have been the better way to go. Another good idea would have been if you run out of grenades you can ask your squad members to throw you some grenades to use. Probably only allow that every once and awhile but it would make the game run more smoothly instead of playing "Hide and Seek" with the grenades.
