Probably not, neither ME1 or 2 supported 360 controller and Bioware has said in the past it was giving the PC version custom control treatment as a sign of affection, but its probably a non-compete or business decision at this point not to support 360 controller on the PC so as not to directly compete with the 360 and PS 3 version.

I personally would've liked 360 controller support as well as it makes these kinds of pseudo-shooters a lot more fun and immersive.

ME1 was a 360 exclusive for a very long time and only released on the PC about a year later.

Bingo.  Whatever they said is just pr speak.  ME2 controlled well during the game but it was hardly a PC specific UI: no mouse scrolling, not hot keys for Squad, Journal, etc.  Basically, they added a quickbar for powers, quick saves and quick loads and called it a day.  With the added emphasis on movement, rolling and faster action, the game kind of controls like ass.  The mouse aiming is superb sure but the movement straight up sucks.  Stiff as a board, unintuitive, horribly implemented.

Kind of funny tiny indie studios manage to support the 360 controller but big bad AAA Bioware owned by EA can't even do that.  Pathetic.

Sounds like we'll be modding me3 again to hack in controller support.

Under the FAQ
"Which controllers does the PC demo support?
There is no official support for controllers beyond the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows."
They state that there is no official support for controllers EXCEPT the 360 Controller. Apparently this is a bald faced lie. There is no Controller Support at all.

Xpadder doesn't work with ME? I use it for TOR but only for the first few levels as about 16 I run out of keys available to map.
