Multi-Player Internet Connection Issues (Xbox 360, PS3 & PC)

After the server maintenance, I seem to have more trouble finding matches. 3 out of 5 tries I'd get a lost connection notice.
I've also encountered more lobby oddities like being unable to start a match because there's an invisible team mate in the lobby with an N7 rating of 0.
I also had this one match where the host left and we were forced to restart the wave. Problem was, I was the only one left on the team because none of them re-spawned with me.

I can host just fine but not connect to any games. This issue has persisted over all maitenances, and I'm a tad scared this will end up being carrying over to the actual game version. Any suggestions?

I really hope this is not indicative of what we can expect from the full version when it released in 8 days...

I tell ya, you can't really appreciate Firebase Ghost until you've seen it from the sky..

I can deal with the lost connections. I have a harder time dealing with losing all the XP I earned due to a networking issue.

Lost all my XP, which is really annoying as I'm only just starting so am really low level. Nevermind.

I'm located in Guam and play with the NA Xbox Live users with my open NAT if that can shed any light on the subject.

Today tyhe game became unplayable. Would always drop out of EA at within the first or second rounds, even if playing alone.

Hey boopie, try rolling forward and then going into cover, always works for me.

Thanks, it works, except for instances when you're playing a race that can't do that. I hope this gets resolved when the game is released, since the multiplayer is surprisingly fun.

Get on to EA and tell them to get their god damned act together - I'm praying the disconnects are only going to be issues in the demo, and nowhere near as common in the full game, because I am getting really sick of getting through waves only to lose my connection because of their god damned next to useless servers.
EA have always had problems server wise, no other companies servers cause me, and most others by the looks of it, anywhere near this level of problem when it comes to getting things together, and running smoothly, but EA - probably the largest of all the companies - always seem to have issues when it comes to online
Perhaps they should send more time improving their servers and customer service than they seem to do withdrawing games from publishers... or is that too much common sence for EA to handle <_<

I just want everyone to know, that this is a very very bad idea. Upnp is an extremely unsafe technology to leave running on your router.Chris Priestly wrote...Enable UPNP on your router.
It will absolutely solve your problem, but that's because what it UPNP does is grant access to your computer to any application that asks for it. Basically it undermines your firewall by letting anything in that wants to get in.
My advice is to either manually add the port forwarding rules, or to only turn on upnp temporarily. You could turn upnp on, then use origin for a few minutes, then turn it off. your router should save the upnp rules it created automatically in the last few minutes, but not leave your whole network vulnerable from that day on.

OK, since you obviously can't fix the connectivity issues: can you PLEASE allow some credits and experience to be awarded at the end of each wave instead of all at the end? Apply a penalty, or don't award bonuses or whatever you need to do to maintain balance, but when 2/3 or more games end in a disconnect and you get absolutely nothing, often after 20-30 minutes of play... it gets frustrating to say the least.
THIS so much! I've managed to level up about 10 levels in the last day only thanks to joining a game where we lost within a few waves or I join towards the end of the game. I get the lost connection box within anything between 3-8 waves (tends to be within 5 waves most times though) every single time
