always DC at 7/8 wave, can we have a reconnect function?
can we have a pin showed in game? at least we can know this host's ISP is ok for us or not.
BTW, other online games im playing now r fine, LOL,WOW,etc. they dont have such a DC issue for me.

Everytime I load up the ME3 disc today I get disconnected from LIVE and it won't reconnect until I exit the game back to the dashboard. Another of my friends is suffering the same issues today. I'm playing on 360 in the UK and he's mainland Europe - but another of my friends in the US is able to play just fine
Ive had the same issue. I'll be signed in on dashboard then i'll load game and the game tries to re-sign me in. It then kicks me from Live or I try and connect to EA servers and it kicks me off xboxlive! :devil:So no multiplayer
Ive changed countries from New Zealand to Australia but both are still PAL

My solution has been to change one setting at a time and it seems to allow me to connect to one host until I leave that host. By one setting, it seems to be anything. Like turning on the Online Game Feedback option (from my initial setting to off). Then next time it was enabling uPNP on my router which seemed to work for a few days until recently. Then last night it was adjusting the mouse sensitivity, yeah, you read that correctly. Throughout this, I generally have no issues joining quick games. Also, the next time I try connecting to a friend's game, I have to adjust something else as the previous changes does not work anymore.
He reinstalled Origin and now it works. Seems pretty abitrary to me. Not as abitrary as the mouse sensitivity, but considering your post, he should not get to optimistic about it.

also..
will there be finally text chat? theres so much space in the lobby screen it is laughable to come with an excuse to dont add it.
also have a video of a severe desync dead-notsodead:

Bioware, I am seriously begging with you
here. If you can't guarantee that people won't disconnect from the
servers, and you can't give us the credits we earned, let us rejoin
games. That's all we need.
Agree, implement a "reconnect to server" button when disconnected. a la League of Legends.
also other suggestions:
- Make the search first narrow by type of game, then by ping
- when you first run the multiplayer game.. run a small benchmark to be sure the computer can host or be server.
- Make the multiplayer game also do a small speedtest to ensure the bandwith will be enough.
- when the game is about to start in a lobby.. make everyone ping everyone and select the most appropiate computer/host to act as server.
- Put a ping counter in each character (or a "volume bar" like metter to show the quality of the connection. so users can see if the game is gonna be reliable or not.
- expand the multiplayer lobby screen.. theres way too much space wasted.. enough to add text chat and your teammate's character graphics.
- for the love of god, stop showing the loading screen for everything! particularly annoying when the "host" of the game leaves.
- Also, override and block the "loading screen" when the game has to find a new host... specially when you're in the shop and when editing characters.. it is annoying to lose all your progress because the program decides to search for a new host.
- Fix the issue where sometimes players can join midgame.. sometimes they never are allowed to!.
Inside games:
- Fix the issue where you use your shield/health replenishment item (ops) and you still die instantly. (theres a huge delay of almost 1 to 2 seconds for it to activate on most games I've played.. or block the use if you're already dead for the server.
- try to resync the users every round.. to prevent sudden desyncs.

Though with UPNP off I cannot connect with my friends hosting a game, with UPNP on I can, but I suffer from the 20 minute disconnects. Average Silver game being 20-25 minutes it was pretty annoying.
So I would advice turning off your UPNP if you're just doing some quick matches for now, for pre-made matches? I dunno, this issue has been around for a while on EA games. I spent the whole of yesterday trying ports etc. to play with my friends. Guess I'll have to wait for D3 to get a true co-op experience without connection issues.
EDIT: This is of course if you suffer from 20 min or so disconnects, but I am no expert either, just a suggestion.

UPnP is Universal Plug and Play. It's a feature that you need to enable through your router's website (ex. 192.168.0.1/192.168.3.1 etc). It hasn't helped me though, and the problem is becoming even worse now.
I'll reinstall Origin if that helps at all. If it still doesn't work, then I'm pretty giving up on MP.

I can't even find a game at the moment without the game freezing up for a minute or two and disconnecting. Add the fact that I've lost a bunch of credits and it is making the multiplayer incredibly frustrating. Shame too since I find it very fun.
This is happening to me too.
Played fine until this afternoon or so.

it randomly opens ports to your hardware firewall/gateway when your windows computer needs it..
also supposedly makes it easier to find your hardware in your network (like a media device.. for streaming..etc..)
but it depends all in the quality of your router/gateway.. in some brands/models.. the upnp support is god damn awful.

I had downgraded my physX in order after installing ME3, so that I could fix my ME2 save. My problems went away after I re-updated the physX to the version that was included with ME3. Ditto for DirectX.
I also re-installed Origin.
Now I can play games with no disconnects. The only thing I can't do is buy gear in the store with my credits. What's more, my unsuccessful attempt to buy stuff still took my credits away, but luckily it was only 33000.
