Guys, they cant fix the servers as there are now dedicated servers for this game. Its a P2P game. Hence why a player is designated as the host. The only problem this game has, is that it does not automatically selects the best host. So if someone with a bad upload in its connection is hosting a game, you are going to experience lag.
Sure this happens a lot and is annoying.
You are entirely missing the issue that people are experiencing, because you haven't read through what has been happening to people.
There's a difference between disconnecting from the host, and disconnecting from the EA servers. When you are playing multiplayer, your game is contacting the Mass Effect 3 servers (likely for valification that your game is a legal copy). In fact, your computer is in constant contact with the Mass Effect 3 servers during singleplayer gameplay, too. This is why when you disconnect from the internet, you lose access to DLC in the singleplayer (or any access to any singleplayer game with the DLC involved).
So the issue people are experiencing is not connection issues peer to peer. People are experiencing connection issues with the Mass Effect 3 servers, which seem highly unstable during multiplayer gameplay to some people.
The issue is random, and there does not seem to be any sort of softrware or gameply factor linking every person that disconnects from the Mass Effect 3 server like there was with people getting their inventory wiped. So the assumption is that there is something wrong with the Mass Effect 3 server.
EDIT: Just got disconnected from another game. This is so common now that I am being disconnected from the Mass Effect 3 servers in more games than I am successfully finishing them. Can we get SOME WORD from Bioware that this is a known problem that is being worked on? Because this is simply unacceptable at this point that EA support has no solution, and that Bioware doesn't seem to have said a word about it.

I had lost credits, and was having the game freeze and lose connection to EA servers. Not just peer servers. This got progressively worse it seemed.
What fixed it for me:
-------------------------------
Force restarting ORIGIN (PC, obviously). I found Origin.exe in the Task Manager (crtl+shift+esc) in Windows (under the process tab) and forced it to stop (End process) then relaunched ME3. This seemed to do the trick for me.
Origin.exe was using 10-20% CPU even with ME3 not running. Clearly something had gummed up Origin.
Right now with ME3 running it's using 0-1% CPU.
EDIT:
-------------------------------
This never got me credits back or anything but I was able to play again.
Also, for those people who are posting about how this is a P2P game and it couldnt possibly be EA's fault, may I respectlyfully ask that you hush up. There is no reason to provide statements like that -- they are misleading and misinformed.

Ditto. Five games over the last three days, wave 10 countdown on all, disconnects in the last ten seconds. On top of the abysmal singleplayer endings, this is starting to feel malicious.

Has BW said anything on when they might address this constant "You are no longer connected" problem or was the "host your own game" their solution? And one that doesn't really work.

This is getting really annoying and sad on BW's end. I've not been able to play a complete game since Sunday and I cannot buy anything from the store either without my credits disappearing and no items.

Yeah, the hosting doesn't work for me either. Hence, the memeage.

I have an excellent ISP which generally grants me a ping of about 10-30ms in every other online game I play, yet with Mass Effect 3 the lag and connection issues are continual. A huge improvement would be to allow users to select their own servers like nearly every other multiplayer out there as opposed to randomly matching us with people with a huge range of connection latencies.
Currently, the gameplay is lagging, glitchy and infuriating if you happen to get teamed with a single player with a bad connection, which is a shame because I thoroughly enjoy it when the damn thing works as it's alleged to do so.

Just wanted to post back a possible solution for some:

I started up the game again after a couple of days to see if the MP would work, but it wouldn't with the same exact problems. However, I did what this guy said, with force-quitting the Origin.exe process and launching ME3 after that did the trick and I'm able to connect as easily as before.
So if you're having trouble even trying to connect to matches at all despite being able to connect to EA on the main menu, try doing that.
(So, really, it may not be a problem with the servers but a problem with Origin/the Origin.exe process in general...)

I tried hosting and i still get disconnected. Not sure how the hell that is supposed to work!!
Does the server we play on reside in the states or something?
I would have thought that they'd try to make it filter players into games based on ping times, so i'd be playing with other people with terrible connections and not a bunch of people that seemingly teleport around the map without the use of biotics!!

It's beyond frustrating by now. I really wonder why i even try anymore. Must be because i actually enjoy the multiplayer part when it works...
But at the moment it's really a colossal waste of time. I don't even want to think about the heaps of medpacks, rockets and equipment pieces i've used up for nothing... or the dozens of Spectre packs i could've bought for all the credits i never got.

Not adressing game-breaking issues to their gamers, for days and even weeks without word, is beyond unprofessional - it borders on unethical.
Shameful.
