Game Issue: Multiplayer disconnection
Priority: Urgent
Summary: Game disconnects and you lose all experience and credits earned in a mission.
System: Xbox 360
Game: Mass Effect 3
Issue Re-creatable: Yes - Hard to recreate
Issue:
While playing a multiplayer mission, players are getting disconnected. This causes players to lose all experience and credits earned in a mission. This causes extream frustration and will make you lose players.
How to Fix:
To fix this issue, you must create a feature to allow players to reconnect to a game after being disconnected.
Suggestions:
Add a timer to allow players to reconnect within a certain time limit. This will allow players to keep the resources they have earned and that will keep players happy and playing the harder difficulty levels. I would suggest programming to allow the player to reconnect with the current score they had before the disconnect.

Connectivity issues existed before this patch on all platforms. The disconnections from EA's servers have intensified tenfold after the patch from what I've read and personally experienced. There is definitely something in that patch that is NOT agreeing with EA's servers on many levels. Gonna try another match in a bit. Fingers crossed I actually make to extraction without getting booted from EA's servers again..and again...and again
Yeah I agree completely with this. Though prior to the latest patch I only had the occasional disconnect from whoever was hosting. Now I'm frequently getting disconnected from the EA servers, booting me out of MP. Earlier today I counted 5 games in a row, 2 of which were on wave 11, and the others around wave 8, that this occurred.
So now like you I've been keeping my fingers crossed whenever I play a match.

Almost flawless playing before this recent patch, now I couldn't finish a game to save my life, due to the frequent disconnects. This isn't a port issue. This isn't an issue with my ISP, I know this because I'm a NOC technician *for* my ISP.
I'm gonna run wireshark and capture all the network data out from my xbox during a game, then analyze it after a crash, see if anything useful crops up. This is frustrating as hell, I wish someone would give us an update.

Since I downloaded Operation Resurgence every single game I've played has had major latency issues. Basically that means 90% of the matches I play I end up quitting because of it... I'm not exaggerating and I'm not to blame here, since everything else I play works fine. I'm not sure what to make of it..
I was having the same problem very infrequently before surgence, but it has become a rule now rather than exception

Shame to miss out on this resurgence weekend and everything. For the brief periods I was able to see the new maps, they seemed pretty good. Love Hydra especially. But right now both ME3 and BF3 multiplayer is simply unplayable.

I actually have a static IP specifically for my Xbox, with no NAT between it and the internet. It's directly connected, no WiFi. No Ports to open, it has a direct connection out.

Curious to know what you find.
I'd love to know if it happens to everyone in a game or just a couple of people, maybe that's why they won't let you reconnect because there is no game. Ha.

An hour long conversation with my ISP confirms it is not an issue on my end, and Saints Row 3 multiplayer is working just fine.
I even went so far as to do a full power cycle and then leave everything but my 360 off so there was only one connection. No joy. This is my first day off in 16 days and I wanted to spend it killing geth!
Comeon guys, bring back the magic!

I actually disabled UPNP and it *seems* to be a lot more stable so far. Just do the exact opposite of what Bioware/EA tell you to do and you'll be fine. lol
Yeah, it's the same for me. I also disabeld UPnP as someone in this thread earlier suggested and since then everything seems to be fine. I just now played 4 games in a row on gold, without getting disconnected or experiencing any other server problems. So thanks to whoever suggested this .. the fun of playing MP is back again for me
