Yesterday I was able to connect fine with a Canadian friend of mine and play with him a few rounds until he logged off, afterwords I played with some other folks via random matchmaking until I got disconnected from the EA server in a middle of a match...
After that I wasn't able to get into any matches, wither from invites from friends or random Matchmaking, and when that worked I'd end up in a room alone or get just 1 other player as the room is made though this is quite rare for me now... Q_Q
Now I keep getting invites but I can't join anyone of 'em because of all this... OTL

Everything else works fine.

Waiting 2 minutes with possible disconnection to get to the loading screen, which takes 2 minutes again, only to be told that I have "lost connection".
My internet is speedy (ethernet), and everything else works. I shouldn't have to play Russian Connection Roulette just to join a server.

If it matters, he beat the SP demo more than twice now, but the recruitment app on Facebook didn't register it as completed.
Any suggestions?

I've completely disabled my firewall and am using a Verizon aircard. There shouldn't be anything in the way between my system and the internet.
-EDIT SOLVED- Had internet connection sharing turned on, soon as I turned it off I was able to connect to online games

on my PC I was able to play perfectly 4+ matches yesterday, now today I can barely stay on for 4 min before I lose the connection... its happened almost 10 times now and is getting pretty annoying, I just was able to complete a match, all 11 rounds, and then when I got to the lvl up screen I had no points to spend and then crashed when I came back in I was back down my 2 levels.
I have allowed ME3 and Origin through my firewall, restarted my computer and my router... there is no reason this should be happening on my end
I have the same issue. Played fine yesterday now I can not get a match to last long enough to get any exp or money. I attempted a match solo got to round 5 d/c. Finally got into a stable match and got to round 11 d/c. Every match is I d/c after 5-20mins. I have openned my ports, allow ME3 and Origin through my firewall, so I am connected to EA's server.

I have the same issue. It's on Xbox Live. My apartment complex has a very poorly set up network, resulting in a Moderate NAT, but I am able to play every other multiplayer game. ME3 is the first that I have not been able to play any on.
I get the "Your connection to the game has been lost" when quick matching rather than getting matched up, and I cannot add a friend in a private game because they cannot join. I can create a private game and play by myself, but where's the fun in that?
Hope someone figures this out!
That is quite strange, you should be able to invite friends directly to your game without problem, if you have the time, is it possible to retest this scenario? We would like more info on this to investigate further.
Thank you
Nick
I have almost the same problem. I get disconneted from EA's servers after about 2 mins during every single match, its insane. I dont get why this happnens. Everyother multiplayer game works fine for me. Its really awful cause I gain no exp or credits for every match I play. I hate this.

This is pretty much what I'm dealing with as well currently... =/Tyrian01 wrote...
I can start the game and connect to the EA servers fine, even view the leaderboards. But when I try and search for a quick match, it just sits there "searching for games" then after a minute or so I get "Your connection to the game has been lost" I've tried it many times over the past couple of days and still have yet to get any further. I can start a match by myself, but that's fun for only so long.
I've completely disabled my firewall and am using a Verizon aircard. There shouldn't be anything in the way between my system and the internet.
Man, this is so disappointing...

Then, I began to get problems being disconnected, not just from the ea servers but also from the Xbox live party chat I'm in with the players i'm playing the game with, usually after a few rounds. Now I can barely stay connected long enough to start a game. I assumed it was my Internet connection as the players I'm playing with are having no issues, have spent the day on the phone to my ISP tech support and so far there seems to be no issue. Basically I can't stay connected to the me3 servers for more than a minute or two.
The other issue may not be an issue at all, but do we retain our experience/ characters each time we log on, or does it reset back to zero? None of the meager progress I've been able to make saves.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Quick Match:
- Searching for Games...
- Your connection to the game has been lost.
- Create New Match:
- Public, Unknown Location, Cerberus, Bronze
- Creating online game...
- Press X to invite friends, send them Xbox Live invite. Get confirmation from the Xbox that invite has been sent.
- Friend's Xbox attempts to join game, then fails. Message he gets: Unable to connect to friends game.
- Join New Match:
- Private, Unknown Location, Cerberus, Bronze
- Recieve Xbox Live invite from friend
- Accept Invite
- Joining game...
- Unable to connect to friend's game.
- Other diagnostic information:
- ISP: Suddenlink Communications
- Using Wireless G xbox adapter (official Microsoft one)
- Router connected directly into wall, which is behind some odd setup the complex has.
- Test Xbox Live Connection in Network Settings results in connection to Network, Internet, and Xbox LIVE. I get the following connection warning: "You can connect to Xbox LIVE, but your current network configuration may limit your online experience." More info reveals a NAT Error, resulting in a NAT type Moderate. I have contacted the network support for my apartment complex, but they say it is a known issue they cannot fix at this time.
- This has caused some issues for me when I join Xbox Live parties not related to ME3, but the quick match services in Battlefield 3, Halo: Reach, and Forza 4 all eventually come up with a game for me to join. I have never experienced any issues joining a match through a server browser in BF3. Quickmatch works slower than someone with an Open NAT I would suspect, but never just completely stopped working.

The first 2 days (2/14 and 2/15) the connection was perfect. Maybe now the server in overwhelmed.

Agreed. So far, there's only one friend of mine who can host games that we can all join. One. That's it. I'm not sure what more I have to do; I have opened the ports, UPnP has always been enabled, I have granted permissions for Origin and the ME3 demo...I just don't know. Multiplayer is fun, but I'd like to be able to play more on my schedule and for us all to not be beholden to one person and theirs.

I have been enjoying the ME3 demo since yesterday. Today, a friend (Lemming) and I convinced a couple other friends to download the demo.
They did, and after some difficulties we all friended each other on Origin. But unfortunately we couldn't connect to each other in MP. Lemming and I could connect to one another, our two friends could connect to each other, but the four of us couldn't join the same match. All four of us are on PCs and we've all played together in other games.
Thank you for your time and apologies if this has been answered already.

Then I decided to disable my software firewall and my anti-virus program but still keeping my hardware firewall going as its designed for gaming and restarted ME3 Demo.
Connected to multiplayer and did a search for a game an it connected right up no disconnects in the 8 games I played and have had no connection losses to game dureing searches.
PC - Norton's Firewall and Anti-Virus.
But on the brightside I can safely admit i suck badly at this and so named my Adept NooB.
