Good morning again from Prague. It's now 8 hours later and the problem is still there. And what's worse, it doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon. I guess I am lucky, because I have a lot of work planned today :-/ I just hope they manage to fix this in time for my planned evening matches.

I have this issue, and I -didn't- open any Victory or anything packs. Just regular Spectre packs. Perhaps they just locked everyone's account that was online at a certain time?

Either way - my single player is mostly borked if they don't fix this. The galactic readiness will continue to go down while I cannot do a single thing about it.

I have the same issue here in Romania. I had issues starting with last night, the issue is still here I can join games after I restart the game but only for 5 min then I lose my connection, after that I can not make a new game or join another. I can't buy anything, I can do nothing. I didn't receive my commendation pack , but I did riceive my Victory pack which I used and bought a 99 000 specter pack which now  doesn't exist. After that I could play a gold match but when I finished it , it stoped working.

Same problems here in Belgium, had difficulties getting online since yesterday, but today I can't do anything at all online (can't buy packs, join games or create games). I got into two matches after restarting the game entirely, but each time I 'lost connection' after 2-3 waves.
(by the way, this is on PS3, not sure if the problems are on all platforms)

This isn't an EA game. Their help desk made it abundantly clear to me that they only publish.

Bioware is a software company and is owned by EA (still retaining branding). ergo Bioware works for EA and gets funded by EA. Servers are provided by EA. EA likes money. they cut down on things to save money. like no dedicated servers for pc platform. so yeah they don't like to optimize the server environment and such things for player's convenience. If that is true, then multiple persons at their help desk lied to me. I was told, over and over, by their official representatives, that EA publishes for Bioware, and nothing more. I was directly told that their help desk does not even have contact with Bioware directly. I was told this repeatedly, on the telephone to EA.

You know it's much easier to hire customer representatives cause they are cheaper. Call Agency outside the states is hella cheaper dood. They only know about the company that they signed a contract wit that much that's and that the number you dialed was just re-directed to that call agency. So yeah!

Having been a second party (and eventually a first party) customer service rep for a VERY large company before, I can always tell when the rep I'm speaking with has absolutely no idea what they're talking about. Seems like every rep I spoke with yesterday had a different thing to say, a different method to try, and they all had no clue what was going on when it came to the issues I presented them for ME3's multiplayer connectivity issues.

I understand that EA and Bioware want to save $$$ by hiring foriegn help, but at least get them up to speed on your products. It's like calling AT&T Customer Care, only they care less, which I thought was impossible until yesterday.

I mean seriously, they wanted me to clear out my Firefox cache to fix the unpurchasable packs issue. I facepalmed so hard that the sonic boom it made knocked Guile the *$&# out.

I don't understand the problem, but after weeks i cannot play the game with my 360. To be more clear, i can only see my galactic rep, no more.
The game say i'm connected with EA server, but it's not true, my grades positions aren't available, if i try to play multi, the connection run down EVERY time.

I just managed to pull off 5 and a half waves in MP. Alone in the match, of course, took me about 6 attempts to even successfully create a lobby. After the game was done, no money was added to my account.

Matchmaker still doesn't find any games for me and still no Premium Spectre Pack.

Nothing new, I know, but I thought it was worth pointing out that private games can still be hosted (even if not reliably).

lol on the firefox troubleshoot solution. You're not kidding, right? that is hilarious if so :lol:

well I've just managed to create a little bronze game, played it solo, and had no connexion issue whatsoever...but still have neither been able to join a hosted party nor purchasing even a tiny recruit pack

Exactly - the more I look at it, the stranger it gets. Sometimes I get the "Network error occured" message, sometimes I don't. Nontheless, we are all still majorly screwed :D

Ugh. Can't get in a MP game at all and any changes I make to a character or weapon don't stay. Customer service wasn't and I didn't get my packs from this weekend.

Wave 7 or so and disconnected from the EA servers, F’ng AGAIN! I’ve been kind of tolerant and patient with this incompetence up to now.

What do we have to do file multiple reports to the Better Business Bureau for them to get this problem fixed. Or is EA and/or BioWare just hoping it will fix its self? This problem has gone on to long with no word from anyone at BioWare as to any updates to if they are even still working on this problem in this thread for 3 MONTHS!

I guess EA isn’t making enough on their Project $10 (try $15) Scam to get used game buyers to pay for their worthless servers.

I cant read much into what they said other than “We're investigating reported issues with ME3 Multiplayer.” Is this just concerning the recent problems with these weekend reward pack ore are they finally getting their F’ing heads out of their rears and getting around to fixing the EA server disconnect problems.

Just did a little experiment: borrowed a friend's Origin Account. Everything went without a problem - connected to a public game in seconds.

This is BAD news for us: it means that either certain server are going totally haywire (this is the better option, although not very plausible, because the problems are not exclusive to a certain region), OR our account data has been corrupted, which in turn causes this problem.

I certainly hope they have backups stored somewhere, in case they need them.

It could also mean that if your friend's account works and our does not, then it has to do with who got his victory pack last night and who did'nt. So i guess it's linked to this pack. ( Bug pack ? )
My little brother and my cousin were'nt playing last night, and now they're both having fun

Yeah, but we already have people who did not redeem their VPs and are also experiencing this issue. It really starts to bug me now :)

The one thing we can be sure about is that the problems have nothing to do with the actual internet connectivity.

 yeah... maybe those who were connected  in the game or origin while the crash occured cannot play today and then now their account is screwed up even if they didn't  purchase any pack. Like, the account has been "stored" in the memory of the EA servers as "faulty" , so that everytime you try to log in it will say "hey get outta here, you're not welcome anymore"

Yeah I think the Victory Pack may have something to do with this... As soon as I received and opened mine, the Premium Spectre Pack showed up and then I turned the game off to eat lunch (I'm on the Xbox 360).

When I resumed playing, I could no longer play multiplayer games. It let me start a game by myself, and I went through an entire game on Bronze, and at the end received no credits or XP.

I hope they fix this soon...
