May one still post in this thread?

I've been looking for solution for past 2 nights... (I look quite like zombie now, lol)

For more! than a month i'm getting an issue: Multiplayer just not working. I've been playing since Demo and i know, when it's just temporal stuff, or serious business :P So, when i try to join game, i'm stuck at infinite search for games. No communication wheel in corner - it's dead end. When i try to create game i get network error. Dead end too.
Okay, let's just say - i'm not complete noob. I've done all possible solution i could found - turned off UpNp on Router, allowed ports 6000 and 3569, allowed ME3 on firewall, etc.
And, after all that, i've decided to ping 192.168.1.126. As far as i know, it's the Mass Effect 3 ip.
When i did it, i got: 4 packets sent, 0 packets returned, 4 packets lost (100% loss). Done it for 10 times - same result.

I've lost all hope already, and will make the one, who helps my personal god :P (Kidding actually, but if you wish...)

Update: Turned Firewall off to hell, no result. This gets more interesting.

Just saying, that you 'may' be banned. If you're sure you weren't cheating, try to verify your account status via email to ME3AccountAdmin@BioWare.com

I've had the same fault when trying to start a game. If you go back out the main menu you'll notice the ticker saying you need to connect still....which is weird as you are obviously coneected in some way because you can get to your characters and modify them etc.

But you can't see leaderboards, buy anything, or join games.

Anyway, quiting the game and restarting it so it's forced to break whatever partial connection it has works for me.

If you are getting no response at all from the servers...that's a new one.Image IPB

Does it think your address is viral maybe? Are you on PC? Do you need to check your system for malware?

1) I've restarded game for countless times already, and even if one of possibilites can work - should i restart game forty times i've to play?

2) Address is viral? Sorry, don't understand that one (Russian-speaking :\\)
3) Yes, PC
4) I've reinstalled Windows just yesterday (Disc fragmentation included)

I'm just wondering if your PC is being blocked because it's being mistaken for a malware attack. Or not mistaken if there is indeed a virus or worm infecting it. But as you say you have just reinstalled Windows and the issue is still there, this seems unlikely.

Have you tried taking your computer to a friend's house and using their internet connection?

Well, both my Antivirus and Firewall are turned off.

I'm afraid, that taking my pc to somebody's house is quite impossible. But i can use different internet provider (mobile internet)

Give trying another provider a go.

If your Anti-Virus and Firewall is OFF you could be infected. Do a scan.

They're turned off just for test - _ -

It will require time and money :\\ Is there any other ideas meanwhile?

To cut a silly story short, I plugged the network cable directly into the modem (so not have network cables going from modem to router) and this has fixed the connection issue entirely for me!

Normally I would disconnect on more than half of all the games I tried consistenly. I've been playing for a few days now, mutliple matches in a row, and I haven't lost the connection once. So if you too have your network cable going from the modem to a router, I'd suggest plugging the network cable directly into the modem.

Could you borrow a laptop and try pinging from that?

He's not disconnecting, he's getting no response at all from the EA MP servers.

And have you asked if anyone else in your area is having the same issue?

My message wasn't directed to Chromatix, but to everyone (mainly if you're getting "your connection to the game has been lost"). =]

Cool. It does make your connection more stable, yes. Especially in high traffic/interference areas.

But i got it from this thread :

Hmmm. Well, the only real test is the alternative provider one I guess. Image IPB

Or, swapping out your router? Or returning your router to factory default? Then resetting your game ports?

Okay, a bit of update. I found on Google EA servers IP (actual this time, derp :P) and tried to ping and trace it:
Pinging had the same result - 100% loss.
While tracing signal was lost on 16th step (after coming through firewall, router and provider).

Tracing screenshot

So now, i really don't have even remote idea WHAT kind of stuff may it be.

Or maybe it's the wrong address again (but that's only what i've found and since many people in that thread could reach it it seemed legit) 69.174.253.35

Damn EA. Why can't they just state actual IP address?
I give up.

Or will ask Support when have some free time.

On PC my connections continue to work fine (crosses fingers), but lately - it seems to be since the Earth DLC came out, I have been disconnected from a lot of MP games on Xbox. Checked router settings - all good and optimized, power cycled everything - yup, still happens. I'm hardwired on both Xbox and PC, although they are both running through a network switch (where they are normally the only 2 connections) - but again, there is no indication that the switch is malfunctioning since everything runs strong on PC still, and sometimes it's ok on Xbox.

It'sa makin' me craaazy! I really feel like it has to be a server side issue. Gonna call my ISP and see if they have any tips or if there's an issue with DHCP.
