Why don't people expect the best from BioWare? Are your expectations for everything BioWare does bar the story really that bad?
Story.. lmao.. If this is how the game bridges from ME2 to ME3 then good luck with that..
In fact, I thought ME2's story was about as contrived and boring as could be.. Recruit squad for suicide mission to stop a force of bug things that nobody has ever seen before, help said squad with personal errands and daddy issues, go on suicide mission, nobody dies if your half-way intelligent, kill Contra 3 boss, defeat compartmentalised threat that had little emotional connection to Shepard in any way, end game..
ME3 starts with, flickery, shakily animated Reapers attacking with no flow or connection to what had just happened in the previous game, with near no explenation as to what has happened in the time away..
On to the topic, ya, the textures were pretty horrid. Much worse than I could have imagined, I should have just stuck to watching low res youtube clips because at 1920x1080.. wow.. crispness is a detriment to ME3, that's for sure. And ohhh the animations.. running is ridiculous, and what happened to the weight of the character? Shepard used to actually have some illusory weight to him/her, they would take a second to stop or change direction. Now it feels instant and looks terrible.
And the lip sync.. simply bad.. just bad..
So in conclusion, for me, textures terrible, animations terrible, lip sync terrible aanndd the narrative pacing/flow = nonexistant.. Bah.. pretty disappointed right now..
