Infiltrator Cloak doesn't work much.

The problem is that it doesn't work much. Unless Cerberus troops have some sort of vision to see cloaked people.
Many times when I've gotten into situations where Infiltrator cloak can get me out,
The enemy always sees me and continues to shoot at me.
I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be, or it's an error.

It seems cloak does not prevent you from being targeted, it only lowers your priority as a target. If there is noone else in the map, then cloak is useless.

Sometimes my cloak makes the mob leave me. Sometimes it don't.
Altough Units such as Geth primes seem to see just fine through the cloak, and will target you from 200 yards away if no other target is available (they prioritize visible targets).

For one, if I activate my cloak sufficiently far away from enemies while all my squad is dead in SP, enemies will mostly stay around still because they cannot detect me - while voicing that fact.
The thing is, cloak in MP is probably implemented in a different way to prevent cloaked camping. It does not render you invisible, just takes you to the bottom of the target priority list, even if you activate the cloak at a safe distance. The only problem with this is that if you are alone on a server, it renders the cloak useless because you're the only active target anyway. At least this is the feeling I'm getting.
Also I don't think the enemies in MP are programmed with a "line of sight" kind of targetting. They can usually spot and converge on you no matter how well hidden you think you are. It's probably a threat level/proximity function.

Cloak is perfectly fine as it is, if you know how to use it and allways remember to keep your distance, then you have a god mode.

In my experience, it works as stated in this thread. They shoot at where you were when you cloaked and they see you when you get too close.
Cloaking and reviving/capturing objectives works great when the enemies are all at a sufficient range.

could we get a circle around us when we cloak to show us ingame or could yall post a photo with a relative distance for cloak detectionEric Fagnan wrote...
Like Joel said, cloak has a range, so if you are near enemies they might still see you. Also, when going into cloak, enemies may still fire a last shot at you, or if a projectile was heat-seeking to you it will keep homing in.
