I just wanted to say that the ME3 texture is still as bad as ME2 on PC. PC have more power to drive the better quality texture. It is very disappointing to me (only). And Xbox 360 controller support, at least bioware should offer it as an option. It just disappointing.
Texture is still bad in the ME3 demo!

It's really bad treatment for a great game like this.

I'm more concerned with gameplay tbh. When I'm shooting and rolling to cover the last thing I'm looking at is just how detailed the walls and floors are.

Not technically a texture per se, but has anyone noticed the mini-husks running about ground-level on the first portion of the demo? They look like 2D graphics you'd find in an arcade game circa 1993. Hilariously awful. They run sideways.
I thought they were fleeing Humans. Ha!

In 2012, Even Skyrim offer HD texture patch.
Of course, it is a possibility to have low res texture in order to keep the demo in smaller size.
To be honest, I think the landscape texture have good enough texture because they are far away and in motion. But characters and Shepard will always in your face. Why the **** not have better texture.
It is the same case with FPS. Why Skyrim and other game have bad hands or weapons texture? They are in your face, man. That the reason I admire RAGE and Gears of War. The character texture is good enough for close up.

However, it is a demo we are playing. Retail could be better. But how many time demo did not match the retail in Graphic department? Demo graphic is almost the same as the retail.
One thing I really not enjoy is the controller support and UI scaling. Recently, there is a lot of bad UI scaling from EA games. They scale the font and UI way too small for PC players. I understand that PC players are usually play the game close to the monitor than a Large TV. But still, we need to read it comfortably.
I understand that Bioware want PC players play the game by using K/M. But does it really hurt to add xbox 360 controller support. We will still love the game no matter what way to play.
"Offering customers options" is more important than "developer think what is best for you".
I truly hope Bioware will take some advices from PC users based on their impression of the demo.

"Well, much to my infuriation, I cannot get Texmod to work with the Mass Effect 3 demo. Not sure if Origin is blocking it or what, but the game simply won't run.
As for the Male N7 armor, I'll look into it tonight. "
reading through the last posts in that thread its not looking good. ea/bioware probably dont want people modding the game

I am currently playing Mass Effect 2 PC with texmod.
By the way, I own both ME2 PC and xbox. ME1 PC and xbox. ME1 PC has the best texture.
I don't understand what the F happen in Bioware. Even Dragon Age 2 has High Def texture patch. **** man.

So... is this an option in Origin? I don't understand where you can find the configuration utility for the demo. I have Win7 Pro.subsider34 wrote...
Try turning the anisotrophic filtering up to at least 4x (from the default 2x) using the configuration utility. If you are running Windows 7 or Windows Vista, go to the Game Explorer and right click on the ME3 demo and choose "Configuration". Make sure you save your settings after you change anything!
edit, nevermind. I see what you are saying. I never use Game Explorer.

Neat. You sound fun.
Just for the record, I thoroughly enjoyed the demo. I've even got the Collector's Edition pre-ordered. I just think those 2D sprites look a little silly running sideways.
