As the title says, the demo crashes on startup.

I've tried repairing my install in Origin.
Tried restarting Origin.
Tried multiple settings.
Way above the recommended specs.
Drivers up to date.

Still nothing. Anyone?

Try disabling all unnecessary programs, anti-virus, update your gpu drivers...

i have the same problem, restarted and made it so only origin and the demo were running basicly, and still didnt work for me

Try disabling Origin overlay. Open your Origin, then go to Settings > In-game then disable "activate origin in-game".

I had the same problem, running on ATI Radeon HD 6850. If you have an ATI Card also, try using Catalyst A.I. Setting: Performance (not Quality). That solved my start up problem.

I've had mid-gameplay crash but not on start up.

I have the same problem. tried everything and it just crashes on startup.

mass Effect™ 3 Demo has stopped working.

Thats all is says then nothing happens.

I cant start the game, after it start it freezes with black screen no info no nothing had to kill process that meanwhile is stuck at (408mb~ memory usage). Sad, i wanted to play today.

i am having startup problems as well.

win7 64-bit
radeon 6870
i7-930

Tried disabling in-game origin overlay
Drivers up to date.
tried messing with the MassEffect3DemoConfig.exe settings
tried changing catalyst AI settings

Ok so ym problem is fixed by disabling my Antivirus/Firewall (ESET Smart Security) Really Bioware ? Next time i will get a virus and a spyware for installing your crap with Origin ?

I also encountered this problem. The thing is I have two graphic cards on my laptop, (Thinpad T410).

The trick is to blatantly tell your Nvidia card to run the Mass Effect 3 demo, Otherwise the low end intel card trys and fails to

Try to update DirectX, VCredist 2005+2008+2010, and NET.Framework 3.5 and 4.0 on win7 4.0 installed by default butt 3.5 and erlyer may be not installed
