It's not just you, it's the keyboard. Using a controller is very easy. Keyboards aren't designed for gaming.

Jesus, hope you are trolling or you are the most retarded person that I ever met on the internet.

Also on topic, because they are lazy to set a function of use object binded to "f" key.

So, in your opinion, keyboards were originally designed for gaming? Hm, interesting theory. Never heard it before but I'd love to hear your explanation of it.

Well I'm pc gamer since 1995.
Guess what? They are still pratical for gaming even if they weren't developed originally for gaming.
If it was the case , Razer and Thermaltake would had change the keyboard design in a long shot to adapt to your "gaming" reality.

And I will give the classical example

Playing a shooter on PC is much better then playing in a console.

How about playing a RTS on console?
Your superior joystick help, its a game isn't it?

They were clunky for me at first but within minutes I got the full hang of it. Playing Gears of War helps. :)

You speak as though your opinion is fact. I suppose you like having to lift up the mouse to continue a turn or having no sensitivity in any of the keys. Yeah that really helps precision. Here's a fact for you instead of an opinion, the only ones I've heard complain about the controls and the "everything button" have been PC users who have difficulty with the awkwardness of a keyboard. These complaints have often been accompanied by pleas for Xbox controller support for PC versions of the game. Probably just a coincidence right?

Keyboard is just a tool, games are designed around them just like console games are designed around controllers so you are missing the point. Also RTS games like Starcraft or any competitive e-sport games like DOTA/League of Legends uses the keyboard. How is a controller "easy" for those games?

Anyways back on topic, the controls are too dependent on the all action button. Often it is doing something the user doesn't desire like trying to revive a teammate but constantly hitting cover, sprinting to get the hell away and faceslam into a wall parallel to you does get frustrating. The problem is much more apparent in ME3 than it was in ME2.

Thing is, a console controller was MADE for gaming, keyboards were not. PCs are definitely not better for shooters.

Sorry just a few people asking for it, result Bioware said: No Support.
Deal with it.
If it was that popular how you said, they would had allocated time to make Xbox  support.
Since thats not case , guess what? You are wrong.

Right and that's exactly what PC players will have to do. Deal with it. With what? More awkward controls due to their platform of choice.

I do agree with the other user about PCs being better for RTS games, no question about that.

Or they could actually make a decent keyboard definition that is no rocket science or resource consuming?

Just finished the demo, and had a blast, but there's one glaring problem: The controls are horrible. I found it extremely difficult and frustrating to control Shepard. He rolled when I wanted to sprint, rolled when I wanted to take cover, took cover when I wanted to activate a button, etc.

Hopefully, BioWare ironed out these issues in the final version, but if they didn't, they sure could learn a lesson from Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. The controls in that game are perfect. Shift to sprint, space + directional key to roll.

Shift: Sprint and enter/exit cover.
Space + Directional key: roll and context sensitive actions, like jumping over a gap.

Hold forward and tap run button = roll
Hold forward and hold run button = run
Hold forward and hold run button whilst near a gap in the floor = run and jump over the gap.

How is that difficult?

I wish there were diagonal rows so we can roll in 8 directions instead of 4. Also the cover in this game is much more sticky, which makes sprinting while hugging a wall near impossible.

Funj fact:  MIcrosoft tried internal testing for one of their games allowing PC players and Xbox players to play against each other.  They took average PC players and matched them up with top talent Xbox players.  The PC players just mopped the floor with them over and over.

I disagree wit hthat.

I started out with consoles and all that many years ago and it's absolutely no question, for me, that M/K feels superior. But that said i've used them for a long time now so it's second nature. Same probably for console people.

They feel better to me personally, certainly not clunky.
