The controllers are just an excuse to console gamer's progress. There is NO place for controller-type controls on a f#king keyboard. The mouse is SOLELY for free-look since the days of Quake 2 and HL1, which is what people widely accepted and NEVER complained. 0xFF5

The mouse is so far superior that there is no discussion value. I can do a full 360 precision turn with just 6cm of hand movement. The controller is the clunkiest and laziest PoS I ever owned. It's only good when everyone's THAT bad.

Do you see my el1t#st point? Then please just f#king use the keyboard, Bioware. Don't let us feel like wheelchair champions.

Actually in terms of vehicle and 3rd person combat console controls have actually proven to be superior to mouse and keyboard. In BF3 Me and my friends switch to the pc version of the xbox controller when we get into jets and vehicles.

The only bad thing regarding controls is the "all in one" button.
There are just so many actions for a single button, you will rarely end up doing the thing you want when you want.

And unfortunately level designers didn't took in consideration the problems that could occur with this button.
Check this out:

In ME2 whenever there was a computer that the player could interact with on top of a desk, the player wouldn't be able to cover behind that desk,to avoid the wrong action from happening.

In ME3 there are interactive computers sitting on top of desks in the Salarian level, but when you go near them and press the button,Shepard takes cover behind the desk instead of interacting with the computers.I got to cover and exited cover 3 times until I randomly managed to interact with that computer.
