Theres nothing wrong with buying what you like I was just asking a question, it's quite a shift from realistic style sci-fi shooter to a manga look and I didn't think Mass Effect had many fans that crossed over, especially after the outrage of the Liara figure...

i don't really like the shift to anime-style either but some ppl like it and will buy it

the real question is why BW went to a Japanese company and not an American/Western one

Her armor looks too bulky for being as tight as it appears. They may as well have gone for a lighter armor design. Her boots are also silly. Other than that, it stirs nostalgic memories of 80s anime and manga. I'm getting a serious Dirty Pair vibe from this Shepard art. Not that it's at all surprising considering they were obviously shooting for the sexy here.

I was actually thinking in the default tentacle-pron, but now that you mentioned, put the tentacles AND the hanar. :innocent:

Well, me for instance.  I won't be buying this one or the Liara one most likely, but I do have a rather substantial figure collection, and some of them are out of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo line.  I'm not terribly pleased with how Liara turned out, but the Catwoman bishoujo figure I have turned out to be quite nice.

Regardless, I don't see the point in judging people for expressing their enjoyment of something through collectibles.

The figure for Liara was terrible simply because she looked like a random Asari. This on the other hand seems to be about what I would expect the default femshep to look like as an anime figure (although I still don't understand what the deal is with the high heels, that just looks silly). It all depends on how the actual figure is going to look though.
