Uncalled for. Why. High heel boots? She also looks like a teenager.

It's not bad, compared to the Liara figure, but I'd prefer her without the heels and hair antenna. One done like Ash's by Play Arts Kai would be vastly preferable.

You know I would have never noticed the high heels if they were not pointed out. Now I can't look past them. A minor annoyance but I will still get it.

The Liara figurine was... Odd. And I'm a Japanimation/manga nut. I wonder what the actual figurine will look like itself?

This is the actual design. Everything in that art  will be on the figurine. The pose, the design, etc.

The concept art for Liara looked better than the actual figure, it makes me wonder how much worse the FemShep figure will look than the concept art?

I was actually thinking in the default tentacle-pron, but now that you mentioned, put the tentacles AND the hanar. :innocent:

I'd actually buy it if it had tentacles, but right now I'd like a piece of Jennifer-Hale singing software.

As I've stated before, she doesn't look half bad and depending on how figurine turns out, I'll consider getting one. If not for me, then definately for my boyfriend.

People **** about these things too much. Nobody's forcing you to buy it, and Bioware obviously thinks that there's profit in, so if they're pretty much the only one's who lose if this ends up coming out at a net loss.

I, as a minority of forum members it appears, love the Liara Bishoujo figure. Can't wait to get it!

Dem heels...

I can't decide of those are supposed to be Miranda/Samara 'combat stilettos' or just a really derpy looking contour to the armor to trick us into thinking she's in heels...

Feminist here. I do not like it. Why can't we have a figure like maleshep? FOR GOD SAKE HER COMBAT ARMOR HAS HEALS!

You're not thinking outside the box.  Obviously, they're the combat heels Miranda wore around in ME2.

That's not bad actually. Yea the combat stilettos are kind of silly but the overall design is quite nice.

Anime is definitely not my thing, but I think it would have been cuter if they had gone with her trademark renegade scowl. They could have even kept the bizarre high-five ... thing.

Sometimes it is kinda ****ty being a woman and trying to be a part of gaming culture. Don't get me wrong I love games like Bayonetta and characters like her, I think they are fun and cool to look at. I just wanted to have something that a woman could actually be a real woman and be just a great hero in a great game, and femshep gave me that.  I don't want to have to constantly prove what I am good at "despite" being a woman.

When I played varcity baseball for my school, I was the best at my position when a new coach came in. I went to every practive and worked my butt off and helped everyone. When the first game was played of the season the umpire told the coach that I was the best player on the team, to which my new vacity coach was very upset by. He told the team as we sat after the game that he was embarassed that "a girl" was the best player on the team and "no offense" to me. Like somehow my achievment of being the best was actually not okay because my best was the standard for being bad at the sport. It took a whole year for me to prove to him that I was not sub standard because of my gender.

Do you know how many times i've heard "you're pretty smart for a girl" or "you seem cool/talented/funny, for a girl". It seems very small at first and everything but it really builds up and starts to feel really ****ty. All the times I have felt like I was stuck in a place in the eyes of most of society I played Mass Effect because I could roleplay as a woman who miraculously did not have to prove herself "despite" her gender. She was just a woman in the galaxy saving the day and being a hero without any gender roles put upon her. I love femshep, I love her a lot. She represents a lot to me. She represents hope in an industry that sometimes has great strong female leads but also sometimes makes them into a fantasy of society.

I would love to have a femshep figure, but I want one that is similar to the maleshep one. One that is realistic and not high healed and anime figured and sexualized. I just want a badass marine who is also a woman.

Damn, bioware. You have so many other characters you can sell that is all sexualize. Pretty much every single other character in the game you can do that to. Why do you have to do it to femshep? I like miranda and her sexy butt and sexy catsuit, but I also just want to have femshep as what she is. Why can't i just have that?
