But that's what you're doing right now. You are publicly seeking validation from other men who perceive the world the same as you,
I did? Where? I don't care if people agree to me, it remains my opinion. And where do you figure i am a man? Because women would never write such a thing? A little sexist, don't you think?
Look at your own profile.

And your search for validation came across as rather apparent when you decided to introduce a battle between the sexes as part of your argument. The intention was never to decry the entire male sex, merely to point out blatant expressions of inequality.

I'm a man myself, and trust me, I don't find it problematic to own up to the fact that I have certain privileges.

with a through-line of petty contempt for women who do not abide by the patriarchal constructs which seem to define your privileged definition of society.
My definition of society? Hmm, where did i speak about my definition of society? What is my definition of society? And please, don't go around and make stuff up which you have no indication for, just because i don't fit your little mold.

Your post encompasses a great deal of your perception of societal structures. When feminists (actually, it seems you made a point of including *all* women in this little diatribe. My mistake!) have objections, it is apparently unequivocally because of latent insecurities on their part, not because there are actual issues to be addressed. You wholly disregard their reservations as petulant whining.
Not to mention how you describe my own assessment as a "little mold."
As is your prerogative, of course. But please, don't tell me all of this doesn't paint a fairly clear picture.

I'm hesitant to share this because I fear it might shake the very foundations of your perception of reality: but feminists don't actually mind sexy.
Where did i say that feminists do mind sexy? Maybe, and i will admit to such, i wasn't clear enough, but i actually said some feminists mind the things they fear they can't compete with, perceived or true. That doesn't say you have a problem with sexy. It says you have a problem with "so sexy you believe you can't compete with it".

It doesn't say feminists are ugly women and it doesn't say feminists hate short skirts. It simply says feminists hate what they perceive they can't compete with.

And you don't need to agree, we both know its true.
Actually, you said women hate what they perceive they can't compete with. And for the record, you addressed a person claiming feminists collectively perceive beauty as objectification, an assertion from which you made absolutely no attempt to distance yourself. You agreed. And you proceeded to detail the "issue with women" as their habit of objecting to sexual attractiveness as something they consider unfair.

And no, I don't agree. Nor do I think this is some universal truth you have uncovered. I do not wish to be included in this.

Actually, we are very fond of sexy. Sexy is absolutely smashing.
It's objectification and the pervasive male gaze for which we have a low tolerance.
So buttom line is, you mind men to gaze at other women. So basically you already agreed with me.
If that's what you gathered from those couple of sentences, I don't know what to say. Male Gaze is a very particular phenomenon which describes a tendency in media to portray women in a fashion which is singularly meant to titillate and excite a predominantly male audience. Miranda's ass shot is a perfect example of Male Gaze in action - completely pointless, but put there for the sake of having something sexy on screen, at the expense of the character's integrity. The camera is being lecherous, and the player is made complicit in the action.
Hey, there's arguably a less pronounced Female Gaze prevalent in teen media. I won't shy away from that. But it doesn't make Male Gaze any less problematic.

I'll repeat: appreciating sexy is perfectly fine. Blatant voyeurism, less so.

Seriously, who dropped the ball and let you out of The Spearhead?
Whats the spearhead, if you don't mind me asking?
It's a website for people who share a lot of your ideas. Don't consider it a recommendation.

I thought you people were supposed to be kept on a short leash lest you allow your strawmen and distortion to run amok.
The internet can only take so much.
Agreesive much? Well then again, there is that thing about squeeling dogs when they get struk. But really is all that agression necessary, or did you just run out of arguments so you try to hope to disuade me by being "in my face"?

Calmly expressing your opinion wasn't in store today, was it?
Being perfectly calm and polite kinda went out the window when you started your post by saying "Because thats the way women work."
