We need a way to change the FOV in the PC version ASAP! :bandit: The demo made me dizzy, I think the FOV is even lower than in ME2. The first game had a good FOV, why on earth did they change it? :(

Apart from the FOV the PC port seems OK, they actually managed to give us the option to turn mouse acceleration off!

The FOV is similar to ME1 and a lot better than in ME2, just adjust your mouse sensitivity

I would second the call for a FOV adjustment in the utility manager. FOV needs to be much higher. I don't know why making an adjustable FOV setting isn't an industry norm at this point. Way too many different TV/monitor sizes to be have a fixed value.

I understand why its kept low for console, but the PC versions should include at least an .ini setting.

This. I just can't understand why FoV setting isn't included in most games nowadays, and is always set to horrible console levels.

I felt sick after 5 minutes... Might be a deal breaker if they dont fix this very quickly. As much as i love this series, i cant buy a game that makes me feel sick.

Fix the FOV BioWare!

I second this. This is part of the problem of the game not being optimized for the PC.

I can't play the entire game like this. Not only does it make me nauseous, I don't know what the heck is happening around me and end up taking cover behind objects I didn't even know I was in front of.

Soon as I booted itup i was SCREAMING, OMG wtf FOV?! The right shoulder is in middle of the screen at 1920x1080 res on my 27" monitor.

Please fix. or totalbiscuit will make a youtube video about it like he did with darkness 2. you have been warned bioware. lol

Completely agree. FOV NEEDS to be user defined on the PC. LISTEN TO US Bioware.

Multiplayer is painful in close quarter combat, especially in tight narrow corridors.

Just thinking about it gives me a headache. And yeah, like Descendent said, TotalBiscuit will rip into this no problem. How hard is it to just give us the option?!

Yep. It's Mass Effect 2 all over again. I don't necessarily need an FOV of 90 in a third-person game, but 70 or less becomes disorienting for me. I recently tried Mass Effect 2 with the FOV set to 90 and it was incredible how much more enjoyable the game became.

Of course, it's BioWare so we know they won't actually bother to listen to fan feedback or even consider it worth commenting on.

I fired up ME2, played a bit, and then fired up the ME3... It's seems even worse to me.

Hmm, I don't have 3 monitors like you. If you've found a way to change single monitor FOV then by all means share it with us.

Yes there is a way, but with a negative...

If you create a super wide resolution via re-size desktop

Example: 1920x810 you will get the FOV you want. But you will lose some vertical screen resolution.

I think it is worth the trade off.

Losing Vert res is not worth the trade off in my opinion.

Hopefully "Widescreen Fixer" will support ME3 in a future build.

Then buy a 27" monitor and run 2560x1080... Lol.

Wow, replace "darkness 2" with "me3" and this applies exactly. My head did feel a little weird playing it. The FOV seems very narrow, like 45 or 50 or something.

You have no idea how FOV works. That will only make things even worse with a narrow FOV. If FOV cannot be fixed then there can only be two solutions:

1. Get a small-sized monitor.

2. Sit much farther away from the monitor.

Was possible in ME2 by modifying Coalesced.ini

Now there is a Coalesced.bin in the ME3 BioGame folder... it's in binary format and possibly encrypted because of the Multiplayer.

It's a good thing I hadn't pre-ordered it. Gonna pass on this one--unless they fix it...which they probably won't.

There's a growing list of games I have spent 50-60 bucks on that are either terrible ports OR they just don't bloody work to begin with and the developers never bothered to support it (i.e. Rage, Brink).

The low FOV really is terrible. Please give us PC players the option to adjust the FOV!
