Agreed, a slider to adjust FOV would be very welcome. It's difficult to see around my Turian in MP, must be awful for Krogan users.

This is fact. Krogan takes up easily 1/3 of the screen -_-

*insert +1 & facts about narrow FoV on PC's + links to health issues here*. Bad FoV is bad, 'nuff said.

Bioware, please give PC users the ability to change the FOV. Thank you.

The only thing I don't understand is how come the fanbase can take the time to create an application that forcefully decrypts the configuration file and find the values necessary to increase the Field of View parameters for the camera (I don't know how this works so this might be an oversimplification), and yet the developers cannot take the extra 8 hours maximum to do the same thing officially for their customer base.

I mean, if people go ahead and do it, then it's much likely desired and/or needed.

+1 for demand of FOV adjustment (camera positioning would be nice too)

i haven't yet read this whole thing, but NOW I WILL. Because the me3 config program simply does NOT give enough controlability to the users. GAH!

FOV adjust definitely a must.

The random headaches and dizzy spells locked small FOV creates cant be healthy.

Is people are getting banned for fixing this by their own?

I look for an answer to this question every 30 minutes. I'm itching to play the MP. Would have been nice to play before I started the final mission too.

I think I read that manual adjustments to the FOV screw up the cut scenes and sniper mode... if you dont care about those there are ways to mod it.

The FOV is freaking ridiculously small. I agree a 100%. And that's coming from a guy that normally gives little about a bit narrow Fov.

Just found out this, not sure if it's been posted in this thread or not, but seeing as it's the largest one, here we go.

https://www.widescreenfixer.org/

Changelog...

Final version of the FIX IS NOW OUT

Features included:

- Proper scaling of menus

- Centered HUD

- Workbench fully functional

- Main Menu correctly scaled and working

- Adjustable FOV for Single Player - if you change the fov while ingame, reload the savegame.

- Disabled FOV for MultiPlayer to avoid BAN

- FOV is adaptive. No need to toggle. Cinematics are working properly.

- Recommended value for fov 85-90 - You can increase up to 120.

- SUPPORTS ONLY ORIGIN VERSION!!! IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER EXE it will NOT
work. Don't bother reporting here, nor asking me to support hcrachked
EXES

Not Fixed:

- Character Scaling in Menus.

- Probably it will not work with Eyefinity. Needs to be seen.

ACTIVATE THE FIX DURING INTRO CINEMATIC, NOT SOONER, DO NOT RUSH WITH THE ACTIVATION!!!

I really enjoyed fixing this game. Now is time to enjoy the game in GLORIOUS Surround. I hope you will like it

See pics bellow:

Best Regards,

Helifax

Doubt this is ever going to get implemented since Bioware can't even fix the bug that causes people to lose their money, still, +1 from me for a FoV slider.

I would also like a fov option.

I was on a map when i ran into an interesting issue. Another player stood to my immediate right blocking my view to my own crosshairs. My weapon did not have a scope attached so when I pulled up sights all it did was zoom in on their back.

It was a silver match so yes I can and did break cover so I could once again effectively use my weapon, but I don't like to break cover mid firefight!

The batarian and krogan at 1920X1080 res currently take up nearly half the screen, every other 3rd person game i have played biggest characters only take up 1/5th. honestly who the hell thought this up the texture res isn't high enough for me to stare at a back a whole match.
We don't even need a in game slider just give us the option to set number in the masseffect3config.

I remember when BioWare used to be a competent PC developer. Whatever happened to that studio?

It's the Mass Effect team specifically. The Dragon Age 2 port on PC was a much better effort.
