I feel like an idiot asking this, but how can I make screen shots in the ME3 demo?
I'm used to steam but Origins doesn't have screenshot function and there are no key binds in the option menu in game.
Do I really have to use the print screen key? You can't be serious....

There is no such folder in my BioGame directory.

Really? That's weird but I'm not sure it matters since there doesn't appear to be a way to take screenshots. The Woldan wrote...

Well, I kind of bypassed the problem
- I just installed a free app called magic clipboard which allows you to copy as many screen caps to your clipboard as you want without overriding them.

There's a folder in My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3 demo called "screenshots", but it didn't take any for me. xD But that may just be my computer, as it didn't work for ME2, either. The folder just sits there, empty.

In both ME's you could create screenshots that saved in the screenshots folder but you had to modify an ini. Hopefully the retail version will have more ini's where we can add that key binding

Close Origin before opening the shortcut on steam.

Will fraps work on me1 and me2, and should it work when me3 comes out?
And what is that ini. that needs to be altered for ME1 and 2? I only just got pc versions and I would like to be able to take screenies.

Just use Fraps.
The free version is more than enough to create all the screenshots you want and there are thousands of free programs out there to convert the *.bmp files it creates in formats that are less disk space consuming.
Fraps works with allmost any hardware accelerated program or game, that even includes overlays like flash videos or VLC and other media players (and yes - all three ME games).
Regarding screenshots, the manipulation of the afromentioned *.ini files is only of interest if you want to
a) use advanced tools like free flying cameras and FOV manipulation for your screenshots
create ultra high resolution screenshots
While the basic commands for that are allways the same the specifics on how and which files to edit are slightly different for all three games. There's lots of information about that at the BSN and the rest of the interwebs.
Also, be aware that manipulating those files can be potentially gamebraking if you don't know what your'e doing and Bioware gives no support in that case. It's tolerated but not officially sanctioned.
