1. It's a demo. 11 waves is enough to get a taste of the game.

2. To many people drop after wave 11. Gears 3 being the prime offender there.

The MP doesn't have anywhere near the objective and enemy variety to support that many waves.

OT:  I will tell you that 1 year from now- 11 waves is appropriate.  Tbh I feel its long enough, and at times on Gold, it can feel longer than I want it. Feels like a grind if you play too much.

Edit: Also I can't imagine anything more or less. Eleven waves in a public Gold lobby on Xbox last month was about 30 minutes. Less if we had a good team, but that didn't happen often.
