When you have to reach the conduit in 40 seconds, i cant do it. I go
straight forward nonstop non turning, and i dont even reach the bottom
until it hits 10-15 seconds. I have all the settings as low as possible
and this is the only problem Ive ever had, i had high settings before
this. I've tried it windowed, ive closed out all background programs. I installed it with Origin if that helps. I think the timer may be
messed up though, the seconds are strange it goes down two fast then
pauses, down two fast then a pause like that. ANy help would be great,
have mass effect 2 waiting and would love to be able to finish what I
started

Is the game lagging? Or just the counter? What are your specs?

Historically the problem you are describing is due to low frame rates by a low end Video Card. Some ways to get past are to turn down/off graphics and extras, look straight up or use the zoom on the cannon to limit how much has to be rendered. There was at one time a console command to jump to the end of the run, and you MAY be able to search this forum and find it, good luck.
