 Which pack have you guys had more luck with, I seem to be getting similar stuff with either pack, no classes yet either. Should you go for lots of recruit packs, or save up for the vet ones?

I've been using the Veteran pack, however I will experiment tonight with 4 x Recruit to see if you get decent enough goodies with that too.

My general approach is save up for 30k, buy a veteran and two recruits. So far I have only unlocked Turian Sentinel, and some patterns for Female Vanguard, and I got a Widow II sniper rifle which was yellow, so I assume it was rare. It kills almost anything in one shot, except atlas.

I noticed I was getting weapons and upgrades from the V pack and CC stuff with the R pack. I got lucky and got my femsentinel leveled up quick with those XP boost 3 times in a row from the R pack.

Well, it depends.
If (for whatever reason) your stock of consumables is running low, you can get slightly more with four Recruit Packs than with one Veteran Pack.
However, Vet Pack is best pack for almost everything else. Just buy moar of them.

Man, I envy some people's luck =( I keep getting the same stuff over and over again from the V pack. Bought 3 so far and got the katana I twice and the third one gave me a cruddy sniper rifle I don't ever use =/

So you basically got a Katana II then? Cos that's how upgrading works right now.

Lol I got asari adept outta my basic pack

From there, I got mattock, Phalynx, carnifex, tempest,claymore, hornet SMG

only the hornet and claymore were from vet packs
am I realllly lucky? Sounds kind of abnormal from all thin kavetching on the forums...

I've only bought one veteran pack and I got a Quarian Engineer

Get the vet pack
Ive unlocked new rifles, sub-machine guns, quarians, *cough* TURIANS *cough*
Definitely worth the points-
and to get POINTS fast, just get a good team to beat the bronze levels and you earn around 15000 credits per win

I've pretty much only bought veteran packs, got a turian sentinel and quarian engineer. Still waiting for a better AR than the Avenger though.

I got that too.  Got my Krogan Soldier out of my starter pack.  Finally started getting the Male Adept customization paints, just need my lights.  

Took me a few hours just to finally get my Cerberus colors done.

Damn you:pinched:. Only race class combo I really want to get and knowing my luck I probably wont get it. Hoefully in the actual game it won't take me too long to get it.

So just stuck with her and spam throw every 1.7 seconds

Hm. Haven't gotten any characters, just basic stuff. Though I've been happy enough with my human infiltrator. I'm the guy perpetually under tactical cloak because he ends up dead otherwise.

The only time I've unlocked any character was from a Vet pack, everything else from recruit packs worth is small weapons (the Phalanx), weapon mods, and some stuff for customizing characters I already have.
