People seem to forget that Valve have many PC fans when there games graphically don't look that good at all.

Cool Story, bro.

Don't like the game, meh, just chill, I like it fine, herp derp.

I'm assuming you're concerned about the integrity of the story/characters?  Obviously the fans should hold Bioware accountable for producing high quality games, but on the topics I outlined specifically you don't think that people are overreacting?

As for the integrity of the story/characters, none of us will know whether or not Bioware did a good job there until March 6, so I don't understand why you would be doom and gloom about that at this point...

Unless I misinterpretted your post and it wasn't scathing sarcastic commentary.Posted Image

You used a picture that was scanned off a magazine article that came out early last year using a old image of Ashley way before the Beta leak. Not even a close comparison. At least be honest and use a ME3 Liara image in comparison to ME3.

As a console player you have no say in what PC players are complaining about. It is about optimizing the game for the PC.

1. The Begining of Mass Effect 2 lasted about 5 minutes and we didn't have Shepard talking by  himself for the most of the dialogues. Sooo, no.

3. There are many video game female characters that didn't had to be "sexed up" in order to be liked. For example,  it worked wery well in ME1, because it was a mature game. It wasn't trying to appeal as mutch to the teenager audience as ME3 seem to. A "necessery evil" you say? I hope that you will realise the gravity of what you said...Encouraging a developper team to put more emphasis on pure profit instead of creativity and consistency. There is nothing "necessary" to that, just "evil".

1. This is just because the cold open (i.e. the sequence before the title screen is shown) is longer and more cinematic than in ME2.  The Reaper assault on Earth is a very scripted event that puts the entire game into motion, just like the scripted event at the beginning of ME2 of the destruction of the Normandy.

3. As I said in my original post, the "sexing up" is so moderate in ME3 that it is almost negligible.  If you want to go for "complete realism" then it would also have to apply to the male characters as well.  That means helmets on all the time.  I personally like to look a little stylish while I'm stylishly being a badass in a video game, so I will sacrifice a bit of realism for that.

1. The beginning of the game on Earth is the cold open.  People have complained about a "lack of dialogue" options, saying things like, "What the hell did you do to my Mass Effect Bioware?!?!"  IT IS THE COLD OPEN.  In ME2's cold open, we only had 2 dialogue options when you are talking to LI or Joker.  Obviously the intro sequence isn't representative of the rest of the game.  Chill.

2. Power cooldowns.  Please people do your research before freaking out.  If you visit my ME3 Powers thread (link in my sig) you will see that power cooldown rates are dependent on your total weapon weight.  In ME3's demo on Sur'Kesh, we are forced to have a 4 weapon loadout.  That is a LOT of weight, so power cooldowns are going to be really long.  Again, if you want faster cooldowns, in the main game just choose to take less weapons with you.  Or evolve your passive class mastery to increase your weight capacity, thus increasing your cooldown rate.  Chill.

4. PC elitist dissatisfaction.  I am currently playing through Zelda Majora's Mask again.  The graphics are crap.  However, I don't notice even one bit after about 2 seconds because the game is amazing.  Mass Effect 3's graphics are in HD and look better than the majority of the games out there, even if they aren't up to your uberlite PC's capabilities.  So I know that if I can be immersed in Majora's Mask that you can be immersed in ME3.  I too have an awesome PC that is much better than my 360, but it doesn't bother me that the graphics are slightly less amazing than what they could be.  It's just the nature of the industry and the times.

Chillax.  Enjoy your lives.  Enjoy ME3.

I don't know, I would think seeing a Krogan female in a thong and bikini would enhance my overall ME 3 gaming experience.  After seeing her gun down a couple Cereberus troopers, I think I'm in <3

But you're right, people should chill.  But sadly, they won't.  People tend to have knee jerk reactions and then vomit them all over BSN.  I swear sometimes I need to don a hazmat suit while lurking through here.

I think most people feel this way.  But, that doesn't mean that blurry clothing textures on the main character are any more acceptable.  It isn't gamebreaking, by any means, but it is annoying.

This is some information here!! Give the benifit of the doubt t for those who complained. Not everyone browse or watch read/watch every tiny bit of information about a new video game. I have seen worse.

You're a bit naive . It's really not the place to debate such subject . Here it what we call an opinion. It's a democracy after all no ?

Here I don't agree because you seem to have taken some sort of condescending attitude toward PC gamer. I Am happy you enjoy Zelda . It's a great game and play well on The Wii.  You love/enjoy it because it's what you were expecting. Now if it was a PS3 AAA tittle ..  You don't expect PS3 AAA tittle to have the same fidelity has your WII .. Same for PC  gamer. It's not about being 'elite' .  You don't expect your scooter to be a Ferrari but the same could be said for the Ferrari owner.

As consumers we definitely shouldn't be like, "Yeah, do whatever you want and we'll buy it," but the state of the industry and the console paradigm is not Bioware's fault.  They are just a cog in that established system, so I'm not sure that directing those kinds of complaints toward them is the best way to go.  Plus it might be an unwinnable fight to get graphics in mainstream gaming up to par with technology, sort of a pick your battles situation.

I am chuckling at the irony here because in your post you said, "You're a bit naive" which is extremely condescending and then you claim that my non-condescending (at least not intended to be) statement about the graphics was condescending.  Also at the fact that you think I'm talking about Skyward Sword which is the Zelda for the Wii...

I'm a PC gamer for many games and an Xbox360 gamer for others.  It mostly depends on the control scheme for me; if I feel an Xbox controller would feel better, I use that as my criteria for choosing which system to play it on over if the graphics are marginally better.  Anyway, that's my extra 2 cents.  Opinions are opinions.

1. More cinematic. You are right. Exept that this is (supposed to be) a RPG where we are used to choose every single answer Shepard might make. So don't tell me you fel weird when you saw him talking by himself, like in an action movie. "we fight or we die that's the plan" *seriousbusiness*

3. Moderate? You think that the difference between ME Ash and ME3 Ash is negligiable? Really? I don't care for realism, it bugs me because of two reasons.
a - Bioware increasing policy of " hey let's dress her in a catsuit and add bigger boobs! Because boobs are sexy ya know".
b- It's inapropriate with her character.

We already discussed that thing here in the past, until C.Hudson said on tweeter somethong on the lines of " don't worry guys, Ashley will get an armor, you aint seen nothing yet!". Thanks for the bull**** mister.

Wait what? The interface is good? When has Multi-Function keys ever been a good thing for PC Gamers? You realize keyboards have an insane amount of Keys.. we don't need to have one button functions a three different things. This is where they failed horribly with the UI. Add that the Skill Menu is sluggish... I'm not even sure how anyone can say this UI is good for PC.

The AIMing is "Alright" the incredibly close FOV makes Aiming a pain in the butt.

As for the Graphics, they aren't that good. They are typical console graphics. Nothing impressive. ArtStyle is also affected by said graphics. When I walk by water that doesn't look like water.. or a LQ Texture.. or an incredibly bad normal map.. my immersion is destroyed. I'm sorry but the graphics are bad.. DAII brought a lot of nice technology for PC Gamers.. they could of given the same courtesy with this version.

Now see the PC interface is something I could see being a legitimate complaint.  PC gamers should be more accomodated, I agree, but still my main point holds: they will still have a lot of fun with the game if they allow themselves to.  Focusing on the negative (if it is not gamebreaking) and building up your rage about it is just going to put a damp blanket on your fun and make your blood vessels pop.

I think it's rather insulting that gamers nowadays judge women in video games based on her looks, to the point where if she's sexy then that means she's a terrible character. I think it's pretty damn shallow.

My older brother's fiance is drop dead gorgeous. I mean she's a total head turner. But does that mean she has a boring/hollow personality? Well according to gamer logic she does. And i know everyone has their opinion, but i think it's a bit problematic that we've now reached a point where a woman only needs to wear a bit of makeup and let her hair down, and she's called a "****" in reaction to that.
