While holding down the right mouse button to aim while behind cover, Shepard peeks in and out of cover rapidly (rather than peeking out of cover for the duration of the button hold).  This is particularly prevalent when not firing a weapon (i.e. when you are lining up the shot).  It is possible that this is due to my wireless Logitech MX620 mouse, but this has never occurred in any other game.

This issue does not appear in the Xbox 360 version of the demo.

**Update**

After another five playthroughs, I've identified areas/actions that make this problem more prevalent
  • It seems to occur extremely often when taking cover behind curved walls (such as the ones on the upper floor of the area where you fight the Atlas Mech).
  • To a lesser, but still significant extent, it also seems to occur when you are at the right or left corners of cover (including pillars).
  • If you continue to hold down the right mouse button while reloading, the game may or may not register this (i.e. you will remain behind cover despite holding down the right mouse button).  This can usually be resolved by releasing and then holding down the right mouse button again.

Sounds like you have some auto-fire setting on that button.

There is no auto-fire setting for this mouse.

Noticed that too, and Shep seems to get glued to cover everytime s/he bumps into a wall, desk, chair, wastebin basket.... on the PC version anyway.

How old is your mouse ? Sound like some used button issues I had before. Doesn't mean it's that, everyone seem to have different issues with the game :P.

My mouse is at most two years old.  I don't think it has to do with sticking buttons though, as no other game I've played (or am playing) has this problem.  The fact that the issue seems context sensitive further reinforces this view.
