Please  Bioware, add  a  Controller support for 360 Controllers.
I love playing Third Person Shooters with a Controller it would be a shame i couldn't do it with ME3 :<
And some way we can change the Field of View ^_^

I can't believe this isn't supported. This game is completely unplayable without it. I won't be buying this game until it has it.

Kind of an exaggeration, since most of us are playing KB/M and doing just fine with it.

Always the option of playing on an X360 if the controller matters that much I guess.

It's funny.

Most of the PC gamers ask for a proper KB/Mouse thing and when a game comes out and it has the "press start" screen or a single Xbox button, rage spreads around and then people call it console port and start b*tching the developer.

Now that we have a cool game that has a great playability with KB/mouse...you guys want Xbox360 features in a PC game? lol, funny kids.

You seriously expect BioWare to include a feature they already made for the console version of their game? Hah!

I think he means on the sofa its unplayable (as m/kb not idea when not having a desk) and with that i agree.

Xbox isnt an option if you have seen it run on a PC....!

This kind of thinking has got to go in gaming.  It's become a standard which every console port on the market supports.  Hell, even Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, and Kingdoms of Amalur all natively support the 360 pad and those are all EA games.  It shows how lazy and incompetent Bioware has become.  I guess TOR has really spread them thin and quality control and common sense has gone out the window.

ME3 is designed around the controller and they don't even give us the option to use one?  SMFH.

dam just made a post didnt realise one was made.
this not good we need the support bioware please.

gamingbolt.com/mass-effect-3-pc-wont-have-gamepad-support

Chris Priestly of Bioware has confirmed that the PC version of Mass
Effect 3 won’t be supporting any controllers, and this must be
disappointing to plenty of people who were excited to hook this up to
their flashy TVs.
This is what he said.
“The PC version does not support controllers. They may or may not work, but they are unsupported by the game.”
Looks like
they don’t really care about gamepad support, or want people to buy the
360 version for comfy couch experience. Either way, it’s a dumb move.

What idiot decided to leave it out?

This is something people have been asking for since ME1. This games just better when you can lay back on the couch, rather than being hunched over a keyboard.

Guys... What the hell is with the drama here?

SERIOUSLY, ME1 and ME2 don't support X360 controller, you know it... It was already announced ME3 won't support controller as well. And now you act like it was unexpected and ridiculous?

I'm dissapointed and disapprove it as well, because I CAN'T play on PC with mouse... In fact, I don't even have a mouse, I use only my touchpad. I'd die to be able to play with controller, but ME doesn't support it... PITY.

If you want to play Mass Effect games without mouse, buy RAZER HYDRA. The experience is even better than with controller... But it will take at least some days to have Hydra support ME3...

I think most PC players will be dissapointed that no game of ME series supports controller...

Yeah, it's a console 'exclusive' feature that they seem to think PC owners wouldn't be interested in. ;)

Of course, the real reason is could be that they want people to buy the more expensive, inferior console version, which in turn might be why EA don't seem to bothered about making controller support a requirement for all the games they publish (though most do anyway). :P

Or maybe BioWare are afraid that the few elitists will accuse them of making "console ports" if the title screen is flashing "Press START to play"?  :o

So? It doesn't mean that they can't add features or improvements to meet the demands of the people they're selling the game to. BioWare added anti-aliasing support to this game which the previous two didn't have so there's no reason they couldn't have done the same with controller support. It's 2012 now, not 1998!

No, it doesn't have great playability.  Use / Cover / Storm one key is beyond stupid and lazy design.  People have been asking for 360 pad support since ME1 since the game itself is designed around that controller.  It's not designed for a kb/m setup.

@Doctor Hades - I understand you. When I bought ME1 and ME2 I was SOOOO suprised when I connected my controller and started the game and the controller didn't work... I seen the gameplay on YT first, before I bought the games... Then I thought there were errors with the game/controller. Then I looked in Google and learned ME doesn't support controller... I was WTF?! SERIOUSLY?! WHY? It runs on X360 and PS3 so why not PC?! WHY?!
Well, I don't own any console, just PC and I'd like to experience ME to its fullest, but it won't work with keyboard and mouse only.

Almost every game supports a controller... And you even can change the controls there. So why not ME? I just can't understand it.

Yes, another one for 360 controller support. I'll have my mouse and keyboard in front of me on multiplayer, but for a story-focus third person title - especially one with so many movement/cover options now - controller support is paramount.

Plus this is a title that demands to be played on a TV for the cinematic experience - and no blurry-ass 720p either. :)

Please add it via a patch Bioware. I can handle not having the exact same interface as the 360 so the PC power-options will be somewhat more cumbersome, but full 360 pad support with rumble + a slightly gimped interface would still work wonders.

Then why don't you get the game for Xbox360 and end of drama captain obvious? For the 2 previous game I haven't had ANY problem with KB/Mouse, in fact I'm glad I have more keys to actually do stuff right there instead having to press a stupid Xbox button to be able to access my powers and stuff. Get it for Xbox and you will find the developer will have used the scheme for your xbox 360 consolitis.

Think about a game is like a store. By offering customers
with more choices are great. It just like you go to a restaurant, you
don't expect them to serve you just one dish.

Personally, I don't think the K/M control scheme is bad. But Offering PC gamers a choice won't kill you, right?

I understand that the ME series in originally build on xbox 360. If you want the 360 control scheme, buy it on 360.

Then, PC sale or pirates will not steal the 360 sales away. But it will create a very un-pleasent PC community. It also difficult to ask PC gamers (who want controller support) to buy your next game or IP.

But please don't tell us to, "buy it on 360 then if you want controller support". What if I don't have consoles to begin with?
It's a lazy attitude from Bioware.

 From the FAQ:
Which
controllers does the PC demo support?

There is no official support for controllers
beyond the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows.

Bad news guys. From eurogamer.net, http://www.eurogamer...pport-game-pads

It most unlikely that ME3 has controller support. In the same time, I really hope Bioware read the forum and considerate.

Why do you want to use a 360 controller when you have a Keyboard and Mouse? You can always just buy it for console or use a 3rd party program to map the keys to a 360 controller but seriously... why use an inferior controller?

Because the interface and hud is made for a controller, and is faster and better streamlined on the xbox? Mass effect is a console port, and don't you ever forget.

Other than that, being able so lay back on a couch/lounge chair is much more relaxing and comfortable in longer sessions, and during typical non-combat situations (which there are a lot of in a rpg). The only pro the k/m has is a faster and more accurate aim.
